I use these sparingly only because I don't want to irritate my skin but these work fantastic definitely make sure your skin is good and wet to get best results not just a little damp basically have water dripping off your face and then when they dry and feel really hard pull them off I wouldn't recommend pulling them off fast I do it slow and seem to pull the most that way. You dampen your nose or other part of your face and smooth on a strip of cloth. As it dries, it hardens like plaster of paris or papier mache, and then you carefully pull it off, extracting tiny plugs of oil and dirt from your pores. The process is a bit harsh, and I'm not completely sure that it is beneficial to the overall look and health of one's skin. But it is also satisfying and a bit addictive.
The nose strip works well--the plain strip for other parts of the face do not, in my experience. There is a certain perverse pleasure at looking at the tiny forest of what has been extracted from one's skin. But it's easy to screw it up and waste a strip, by having one's face too dry or too wet or by removing the strip too soon, and the strips are relatively expensive. Make sure you have 10 minutes or so to sit around looking like a dope when you decide to apply this.

Like many reviewers, I first used Biore strips during my teen years, when my nose first started developing blackheads. Time eventually got my skin (somewhat) under control, and I no longer used them. Now I have both a son and daughter in their teens, and once again I find myself squeezing blackheads (although not my own). I was anxious to try out the Biore strips on them, and I thought I would try a few as well, for old times sake.
These strips work as well as I remember, maybe even better. I do suggest using the strips after a warm/hot shower, or after putting a hot, steamy, washcloth on your face to open up your pores. This has always seemed to make the strips pull out more "gunk." The strips work well to pull out dirt and oil that is clogging your pores, although keep in mind that few "big" blackheads will be pulled out. (Big blackheads are usually removed easily by squeezing or using a special tool) Please keep in mind that the same adhesive that is pulling the dirt and oil out of your face can also remove the top layer of skin, or otherwise irriate your skin, so beware.
All in all, this product worked well on my 35 year old skin, as well as the teenage skin of my son and daughter. It does a good job of removing dirt and oil that is clogging up pores, and leaves the skin feeling extra clean. The only precaution is that those with extra sensitive skin should be wary of the adhesive, which may cause irritation.

Here's the most important thing you need to know about Biore deep cleansing pore strips: They're just plain fun, in the sense that watching a horror movie is fun. But again, to be perfectly honest, I don't really care, as I get a sense of satisfaction just viewing the aftereffects of my clogged pores becoming unclogged.

I am in my 40th and have very good skin a combination of normal/dry skin with sun spots. I have tried both expensive and drug store brands. For some years I've been using the Shu Uemura cleansing oil then Guinot foam face wash but came cross to Sisley one from samples. It really washes off all the make up very well plus it does make me feel the mild lightening effect. I hope after finishing the whole tube then I will see a evident lightening change to the sun spots. Will provide an update.
