Korres Yogurt Velvety Moisturising Cream for Oily/Dehydrated Skin Facial Treatment Products

Korres Moisturizing Face Cream, Greek Yoghurt, 1.31 OunceI first bought this moisturizer as part of the Yogurt Regimine kit, and as such, it was the last product I tried. After using the White Tea Cleanser, the Yogurt Mask, and the Primrose eye cream, I though I had reached skincare nirvana. Then I went to try the moisturizer and was absolutely horrified to find that it looked like melted marshmallow on my hands.

As someone with oily skin, I've grown accustomed to the 'gel-cream' texture many companies offer for my skin type. Then I put in on my face. It is not the fastest-absorbing moisturizer I've ever tried, but it made my skin feel fantastic. It's super hydrating without feeling greasy or making me shiny, which has always been a problem with other creams.

I would highly recommend this moisturizer to anyone who is oily but needs hydration. Initially, the texture may be a turn off to some. If you really prefer a gel-cream texture, try the Korres Pomegranate Gel-Cream for Oily/combo skin, or the Clinique Moisture Surge, a longtime favorite of mine.

This is the first cream that moisturizes my finicky, pain in the ... skin which is oily and sensitive and breaks out at the drop of a hat.

This is soothing and really feels wonderful on the skin. I gave it four because I'm not yet sure if I found my holy grail of skincare. But I think it's possible.

According to my personal experience with Korres yogurt cream:

Pros:

Leaves skin soft and hydrated. Non greasy, oil free, creamy, lasts all day. Part natural better than most drug store lotions.

Cons:

75% natural, PEG's, fragrance, expensive, It did not help my oily skin. I get pimples once in a while.

Overall I will keep searching for a more natural lotion.

I've had crazy skin my whole life: oily t-zone, dry cheeks, and breakouts at the drop of a hat. I've tried everything. Most moisturizers contain dimethicone (silicone) which I think is the major cause of my breakouts. This is the first moisturizer I found without it (though I'm sure there are more on the market these days) and is the only one I've ever used that actually works with my skin, and it only took me about 38 years to find it! I've been using it faithfully for a few years now, and I really love it. It absorbs completely. No stickiness, nothing, nada. My skin looks great. It seems pricey, but you don't need much, so it lasts a while. If you're on the fence, get a sample from Sephora and try it free before you buy it.

For whatever reason, in my early 30's I now have more breakout prone skin and am starting to develop fine lines. Great. What to use? I've used this product for a while and it is the only item, from high to low end moisturizers I've tried, that balances my skin. I tried going off it with a burt's bees day moisturizer but the Korres yoghurt really is better at moisturizing without breaking out my skin or creating an oily surface. I don't know how much yoghurt contributes, but I like to eat plain yoghurt as well maybe there is something magic about it! ;0
