Pureology Nano Works Shampoo

Pureology Nano Works ShampooAll Pureology products are excellent, but Nano Works Shampoo is the top of its line. Since using this product, I find no other shampoo compares. Nano Works costs more than the local drugstore variety; however, you need only use a dime-size portion, so a bottle lasts a long time. I was introduced to Pureology Nano Works by my stylist who gave me a sample to try--always the best way to try a new product. Its companion conditioner is also excellent. (FYI, my hair is color-treated.)

I have seriously damaged, highlighted, curly hair. This shampoo is the best there is, it leaves my hair soft and manageable. I have tried every shampoo on the market, and I mean every, but now I only will use NanoWorks. It costs more than most shampoos but it is well worth it if you have dry damaged hair.

I have ver fine, highlighted hair with very dry ends. This shampoo smells great and cleans my hair gently. It doesn't contain any sulfate ingredients which dry out hair (I bet it is the 2nd or 3rd ingredient in your current shampoo). It is also not tested on animals and is a vegan product.

I've always had very thick natural wavy hair and anyone who does knows how frizzy it can get especially on humid days. I usually get a curly perm every few years to make it easy to fix, despite the dryness perms can cause, my hair normally takes to perms much better than blow dryers and straightening irons (my hair doesn't like heat at all) but I started to noticed an excessive amount of breakage and over dryness so much so that I had completely stopped getting an annual perm. I later found out it was an under-active thyroid which even having that treated didn't help much with my hair being very dry and unmanageable and really looking like straw. I was tempted to just hack it off. The only thing I could find to help was to fill it full of mousse while it was still wet and allow it to air dry and then fluff it to get some of the stiffness out, caused by a half can of mousse. I've tried pretty much every brand of shampoo/conditioner I could find even the Pureology Hydrate that comes in the half gallon size, it did help some but I still hated the way my hair would turn to straw and frizz after it dried. I finally seen this product and though it does cost more than the Hydrate I decided to give it a try. Well I can say with all assuredly that this works!!! My hair hasn't looked this moisturized and healthy since I was in my 20's (I'm middle age now). I no longer have to use any mousse at all and have permed my hair and in just two days this put all the moisture back and no frizz. My perm looks great and healthy and a lot of people who have seen it thinks that my hair is this curly naturally, lol... My secret. I also dye my hair often (if you know anything about being born a red-head you know most start to grey very young). Anyhow, if you have a health condition that may cause your hair to be dry and unhealthy looking or frizzy or if you just dye it too much and would like the color to last longer I'd try Nano it worked better for me than the other Pureology formulas. As for the cost, well it does cost more than the others and mine doesn't last as long as some reviewers have mentioned but I also use a lot more with my hair being so thick and it's about midway down my back in length, even so I feel it's worth every penny and Amazon seems to have the lowest price. If you purchase both shampoo & conditioner together it will save you a few bucks. I hope this review helps anyone who may be on the fence about trying this product. I don't believe you'll be disappointed.

p.s. I leave a little extra conditioner on the ends after rinsing, it doesn't cause it to look or feel greasy and it will stop split ends.

Sincerely,

-S. Walker
