I originally tried Vivacious Aloe a couple years ago and stopped using it; couldn't remember why so I tried it again and was reminded.It clogs pores, unfortunately. I've been acne free and have had clear pores for years now but after a week of using this, breakout city. I've continued using it (three weeks now) to see if it was an "adjustment period" issue but nope.
Also, it doesn't clean effectively nor rinse away; when I'm wearing my tinted SPF moisturizer (marie veronique) I have to scrub my face to remove both products. When I'm NOT wearing anything, a film is left on my face which clumps into pieces when I apply my night time moisturizer (john master's oil). And I've followed directions to a 'T'. I suspect the culprit is the castile soap.
PROS: It's organic and smells wonderful! :-D
Side note: I tried leaving this review on the SanRe website some time ago but obviously they only accept 4 & 5 star praises. Thank goodness for Amazon!
