i dont understand it.. i must be doing something wrong.

I dont use makeup often, but when I do, I usually have some eyeliner on, which requires a makeup remover to get it off at the end of the day. I've used this cleansing oil about 6 times to take makeup off, and every time i use it, it gets in my eyes, resulting in a HORRIBLE, horrible sting. I've used many types of oil products before, from Clinique's "take the day off", to Loreal's cheap oil-based remover (works well!) to some really expensive japanese type (i forgot the brand), and have never encountered this problem before, so the sting is definitely unique to this product.

Given that I need it to take off my eyeliner or mascara, I can't avoid the eye area and unwittingly some seeps into my eyes. Six times I've used it, six times i've been in immense pain. Sometimes, even copious amounts of rinsing with water won't get the product out of my eyes.

Upsetting! again, I might be doing something wrong because the previous reviewer seems to love it?

This product has a nice, pleasing scent and aside from the sting, seems to take makeup off well. Have not encountered acne problems from using it. But if you are worried about pain, this product certainly isnt worth it.

First off, this definitely shouldn't be used for removing eye makeup. I have not encountered any issues with it getting in my eyes when using it and I'm a person who simply hovers over the sink when washing her face. Anyways.

We start with a dry face and a few pumps of the magic oil. Vigorously rub it against the skin for that oooh clean feeling, then you get some water into the mixture. I splash my face with a handful of oil to get it going. Going from clear to a light white, milky hue, the oil starts cleansing until you completely rinse it off. Then from there follow up with your normal face wash and you're good to go.

I find that this is paired very well with eye makeup remover (I use equate brand for my eyes.) My BB cream is gone from my skin and I'm left with a fresh and clean face. The price is cringeworthy at first, but you get over it as soon as you notice it works!

Hands down, the best make-up remover I have ever used. It really gets everything off, even the most impossible-to-remove waterproof mascara, with zero elbow grease. I follow with my usual cleanser. My skin is pretty sensitive and acne-prone and I haven't had an adverse reactions.
