Anthony Logistics for Men Algae Facial Cleanser, 8 oz

My girlfriend bought this for me at a big box store and at the time I begged her not to spend the exorbitant amount of money for the blue gunk. I am not impressed by high price tag items and have been happy with my white Dove bars for years. I simply did not see what difference this fancy blue gel would make. After having a few good inside laughs at how many smurfs went into making this cleanser, I found myself at home and in the shower with the newly bough bottle. Expecting very little I applied a pea-sized drop of the stuff to my hands and lathered according to the instructions.

The smell of the product is masculine and pleasant and not the fragrant assault that some other products can be when marketed to soccer wives. There are no beads, warming agents, cooling agents or any of the other frills you see in the men's aisle today. Just seems to be a cleanser and with that I was very happy. It did do some light exfoliating and did clean the face and I was happy with the smoothness.

The ultimate question of whether it is worth the amount you pay for it is really up to you. Will it make you more attractive? Probably not. Will it make you feel more attractive? Definitely. I would have no problem adding this to my usual washing routine assuming it was within the budget and there is no adverse reaction. Certainly not a necessity, but as a high priced cleanser it fits the bill and considering how little you need to use, it should last a month or two.

I have the Anthony Face Scrub (the orange bottle) and I love it. I figured since I liked that so much I would give the face cleaner a try. It has a good smell to it and it seems to clean well without drying my face, but I don't think it's any better than some less expensive options. Since you use this every day compared to once or twice a week for the face scrub, it can get pretty expensive replacing this every couple of months.
