Olivella Bath & Shower Gel Lavender

I can't say much on this one. .because when i had purchased this product it was supposed to be lavender and orange but instead of got two bottles of the original scent.. though i have fixed this problem with the vendor..i didn't like this product much because it had actually exacerbated my skin problem even more.

When I couldn't find my favorite bath gel--Kama Sutra's Clove Bath and Shower Gel--I found this and decided to give it a try. Big mistake. Instead of the fresh, herbal lavender scent I expected, Olivella's Bath and Shower Gel delivered a "lavender" scent that was more like a strong, cloying perfume. I had to wash my hands--three times--with 7th Generation's Lavender and Mint dish soap to get the smell off my hands. Yes, it was that bad.

The other problem I had was that after one use my hands were noticeably more dried out. One of the reasons I purchased this was because it contained olive oil. I thought it would be moisturizing. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

I really wanted to like this product. It did arrive quickly, was very well packaged and, although it did dry my skin, it didn't cause my eczema to flare up or my hands to itch.

However, because of the smell and lack of moisturizing effect, I won't be buying this again. There are better products such as: CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, 12 oz., Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Bath & Shower Gel 8.5 fl oz (250 ml) or Kama Sutra Luxurious Bathing Gel Wild Clove.
