I have used the DHC olive cleansing oil, Lancome Huile Doceur, and the Shiseido.*Price wise, the Shiseido is right about in the middle of the other products. Value wise, the Lancome lasts a lot longer than the Shiseido. Shiseido dispenses a lot of product per pump.
*It rinses off instantly, very cleanly and thoroughly. This puts it ahead of the DHC and definitely ahead of the Lancome. Lancome requires an extra step of putting water on your face to emulsify and break up the cleansing oil; the Shiseido is almost like using Cetaphil.
*unlike the others, it has no odor. I call DHC, "DHC Diesel Fuel" because of the horrid smell. Lancome is heavily perfumed and reminds me of the gardenia air freshener in the bathroom at a Chinese buffet restaurant, but it grows on you.
*Shiseido leaves my dry skin feeling perfectly hydrated and I don't have to go back with a washcloth to get any flaky areas.
*All of them work well with the Clarisonic cleansing brush, Lancome the best; DHC next best, and Shiseido last. The Shiseido just didn't hold up as long as the others. (But then again it instantly rinses off when you want it to, so this could be a good thing)
Like this product, and like even more that it has no odor. That's really important if you are sensitive to fragrance; for some people it's not even the smell that bothers them but their skin is really sensitive to artificial fragrance. You don't want burning and itching on your face after cleaning it! I'd definitely recommend this, or Cetaphil, for someone with dry sensitive skin.
I love the smell and how it makes my skin feel so fresh and clean after rinsing it off.

I have been using this for the past 2 years. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't like to use muliple cleanser to remove make up. This one even removes waterproof mascara. Just wash everything off with water. Very easy!Feels good on my face, cleans well and leaves my skin feeling great. Honestly I disliked this cleanser. It has this smell that reminds me of a hair product I used to use when I was little and it makes my face itch like crazy. I tried to soldier on by trying to use it all up but when the acne started showing up, I had to toss it. I did the same with the Shiseido sunscreen also.Save 43% Off
