This product looks and feels like oil, but doesn't have any oil at all and rinses off with water. Very comparable to Shiseido's The Basics Cleansing Gel. Shiseido is cheaper, but I prefer to stick with one brand of skincare and will only use the Shiseido as a backup if I don't have this readily available. It's a bit drippy, so you have to figure out how to get it from your hands to your face without it dripping all over the place and wasting excess product. You can feel it go deep in to your pores to break up all the dirt grime and oil as you massage it in a circular motion. After rinsing, my skin feels super clean.
