Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar-3.6 oz

This soap was originally recommended to me by my dermatologist almost 30 years ago, due to my extremely oily skin and facial acne problem. However, my gynecologist also recommended it for overall body washing. I have used nothing else ever since. It is by far the best "soap" on the market. It leaves no residue, and is extremely gentle on sensitive skin, and sensitive areas of the body. Because there is not soap build up, it makes your skin feel clean and soft after showering, even in very hard water. The bars last as long as other soaps. There is a larger "shower size" bar available, but I prefer this 3.6 oz. size. Occasionally my local drug stores don't have the bars in stock, so I have also used the liquid version, and it works well too.

I have fair skin and it leans in the dry direction. Many facial cleansers irritate my face and some are too oily or have an irritating fragrance in them. This bar was recommended to me by a leading dermatologist in San Diego years ago. I use it daily to cleanse my face and I have smooth, flawless skin. Never substitute with regular bar soap. They have detergents in them and Purpose soap is gentle and without a fragrance. Never competes with your makeup. I use a moisturizing cream after drying my skin.

For those out there that suffer from hypersensitive, acne prone, easily irritated skin that is also prone to severe drying and eczema...this product may be worth a try.

Since Purpose cleansing bar is unscented and has little if any deodorizing affect, I also use a mild deodorant soap when showering.
