I am 28 years old and still get blemishes.. bad ones... scattered all over... few products have made much of any difference and most of the time I feel like acne medication is made for oily teen skin and I find salicylic acid products really irritating. I was looking for a simple clay mask and came across this in my local Whole Foods. I have fair (Celtic) skin that is sensitive and prone to cystic hormonal acne. I have been struggling with cystic acne since I turned 21 (I'm 27 now). I use this stuff 4-6 times a week (it says to use daily on the jar, but I think my skin is way too sensitive for that) and it has made a huge difference in my skin! I apply the mask and leave it on for about 20 minutes (until I feel it dry up and tighten) then use a wet towel to scrub it off. I use this, the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel, the Jurlique Calendula Cream and Weleda Smoothing Rose Cream, and my skin has done an amazing turnaround. I used to be way more hippy-dippy with my skincare and slather pure jojoba oil all over my face. I think the oils really built-up under my top skin layer and triggered the cysts. With this routine, my skin is nice and even-toned. This past month I didn't even go through my usual hormonal break-out of chin cysts (yuck, I know). Any blemishes that do happen are smaller and clear up within a couple days. My only slight faults with this mask is that it dries my skin out (just be sure to slather some moisturizer on right afterwards) and that it does not clear up scarring from past breakouts.

I've been using this product for a couple of months and in my opinion it just as good as the cheap stuff, which works well to. I thought I was going to see a noticeable in my face but nothing dramatic. I have combination skin with moderate acne so this products was not the best for me.

This is really what it says that is. I have a mixed skin and I don t have acne problems but I needed something that cleans my face after make-up. This product does that and more. My skin is softer and moisturized and cleaner. But you need a light face cream right after you washed away the clay. I love it! I strongly recommend it.
