Pond's Wet Cleansing Towelettes Evening Soothe -- 30 Towelettes

I had been using the new Nutrogena makeup remover face wipes for a while, but last time I went to purchase them I saw these new Pond's wipes sitting on the shelf next to them so I decided to try Ponds since they're cheaper. I wasn't crazy about the Nutrogena wipes anyway, but using them because they worked. Now that I can compare it with another brand, I like the cheaper Pond's much better!

The smell of these wipes is so pleasant! I also like the texture of these wipes, they are patterned and I feel like this adds a little "scrubbing power" for removing makeup or dirt, but at the same time they're soft enough for my (VERY SENSITIVE) skin. I've also noticed, and this is what won me over, that they don't feel like they leave behind a residue on my skin like the Nutrogena wipes do. I still wash my face with cleanser regardless (Burt's Bees) but at night when I just want to take off some makeup and still feel fresh, these wipes do the job. They come highly recommended by me and I'm a licensed cosmetologist with fair, sensitive skin, I'm very picky about my beauty products!

I purchased both the evening scent and the good morning scent at the same time ... i really really like the night time one. The fragrance is soothing and relaxing and feminine without being overly sweet or floral, my skin feels soft and moisturized after using it and it does a good job of wiping off any makeup i might have left on at the end of the night.

( I was not nearly so happy with the daytime ones though, while they smelled Ok for something that's supposed to be energizing, I found they weren't gentle enough for me and my face was irritated for a few hours after use, but that of course will be going in its own review on the item itself )

I am happy Amazon.com sells these wonderful packs of wet Towelettes..they not only clean the face well,(removes make-up, etc) but smell good as well...thanks amazon.com for handling these wonderful towelettes

I was a little disappointed in the scent of these, but I think that's just a matter of personal preference.

The first couple of times I used them, I used the whole thing, but the towelettes are really big, and it seemed wasteful to use a whole one. I started cutting them in half and tucking the second half back in for the next night. I pressed the cover down as much as I could, folded the package over, and put it face-down on the shelf. I have the last half of one to use tonight, and even though it's taken me almost 60 days to get through the package, this last one is still nice and moist. Not as moist as the first one I pulled out almost 2 months ago, but definitely impressive.

I tend to have oily skin and some adult acne, and these wipes, as part of a combination of a couple of new products, seems to have helped. (I've also started using Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser with Bursting Beads in the morning, followed by Garnier Lightweight UV Lotion, if you're curious.)

I also have the Morning Refresh Ponds Wet Cleansing Towelettes. I've found the towelettes so convenient and quick at the end of a long day that I'm going to cheat and start using them at night once I use the last one of these.

Bought these hoping they'd be my evening solution for makeup removal, face cleaning, and a little moisture. I cannot get over the scent. It is horrible and WAY too strong. There is no way that all that fragrance is good for the skin or eyes, I will be returning this product. Additionally, I have oily skin and it felt dried out after using these. Not pleased at all.
