When I first met my b/f I stayed at his place a lot and he had some of this that he had gotten as a gift with purchase and his skin was really oily and he said that it worked great. I LOVED it so much and the smell was awesome. Eventually Dillards gave away another kind of facial cleanser with purchase and we drifted away from this kind.

Three years later out of curiosity I looked this cleanser up on Amazon and I found it and was so excited to find it that I bought it. When it got here and I used it, it was nothing like I remembered. It doesn't soap up and its almost like I am putting lotion on my face IN the shower. Because I dont want to waste it, what I do is put some bar soap on my hands and then some of this cleanser on top of it and rub it altogether so I can get it to soap up enough to make a soapy cleaning instead of a lotion application.

The only constant is that awesome smell. :)

I have posted comments on the other 3 reviews, there is some misunderstanding going on here because there are TWO very similar products being talked about. The product I have used for years LOOKS identical to this, but the small print is slightly different. I was looking for: Estee Lauder Soft Clean Moisture Rich Foaming Cleanser, this product is like a cream.. literally: Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser, which is meant to be used without water and removed with a tissue. Like another reviewer, it had me totally baffled in the shower! It was greasy, not foamy. I've sent a great deal of information to the seller, and hopefully they will now elaborate in their description.. so others don't accidentally buy this VERY different, but IDENTICAL "looking" product. If you are looking for a greasy cream, you are probably in the right place. If you want a FABULOUS gentle foaming cleanser, this is NOT it.. do a search for: Estee Lauder Soft Clean Moisture Rich Foaming Cleanser. Clean & Clear Finishes Mattifying Cleanser, Oil-Free, 5 oz

I have oily skin on my face, especially my nose and forehead. Clean and clear worked immediately to give me a light scrub as i cleaned my face not too gravelly or scratchy. I felt Noxema fresh and not cloy or dry when I was done. I wiped excess and it felt good. I also tried just rinsing off with water and that worked too just don't use too much cleanser at a time. I had a nice matte finish that a model would envy. Yes, I combined the cleanser with the moisturizer. I put it on at 7am, it is 3:56pm and my face is still matte baby!! Not shiny... MATTE.

The moisturizer does have a mattifying effect and keeps my skin from becoming oily as soon as it normally would. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I am a woman of color and this product leaves a powdery, ashy finish on my face. I still use it because I wear makeup over top, but I can't just moisturize my face and walk out the door.

I use this is my morning routine to wash my face before using astringent and moisturizer. Combining this with the mattifying lotion available on Amazon by the same brand, I see a noticeable and considerable difference in how oily I am. I still start getting a "shine" after 6 8 hours, but that's a heck of a lot longer and better than any previous combination of cleansers and moisturizers I've ever used. Mega kudos! Now if only these were available at my local stores!!

I wanted to add exfoliation to my skin care routine, so I began looking for a simple scrub. My main criterion was that the scrub NOT contain any "acne-fighting" chemicals like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Those chemicals, ironically, perpetuated my acne now that I'm using products without them, I'm virtually acne-free. Anyway, this was the first scrub I found that fit the bill, and it was inexpensive, so I bought it. I fell in love with it after one use! It smells a bit odd to me, but has a refreshing tingling/cooling sensation. From what I've read, this feeling occurs because it contains menthol. My skin is sensitive so I thought menthol might be too harsh, but it's actually fine for me; if you have SUPER sensitive skin you may want to try a different product. I also love the tiny exfoliating beads, because I feel that they enable me to be gentle with my skin but still slough off dead cells. I use this once every other week, or maybe once a week. I don't know from personal experience if it would be ok to use daily. Anyway, I like it give it a try!

I had been using the new Nutrogena makeup remover face wipes for a while, but last time I went to purchase them I saw these new Pond's wipes sitting on the shelf next to them so I decided to try Ponds since they're cheaper. I wasn't crazy about the Nutrogena wipes anyway, but using them because they worked. Now that I can compare it with another brand, I like the cheaper Pond's much better!

The smell of these wipes is so pleasant! I also like the texture of these wipes, they are patterned and I feel like this adds a little "scrubbing power" for removing makeup or dirt, but at the same time they're soft enough for my (VERY SENSITIVE) skin. I've also noticed, and this is what won me over, that they don't feel like they leave behind a residue on my skin like the Nutrogena wipes do. I still wash my face with cleanser regardless (Burt's Bees) but at night when I just want to take off some makeup and still feel fresh, these wipes do the job. They come highly recommended by me and I'm a licensed cosmetologist with fair, sensitive skin, I'm very picky about my beauty products!

I purchased both the evening scent and the good morning scent at the same time ... i really really like the night time one. The fragrance is soothing and relaxing and feminine without being overly sweet or floral, my skin feels soft and moisturized after using it and it does a good job of wiping off any makeup i might have left on at the end of the night.

( I was not nearly so happy with the daytime ones though, while they smelled Ok for something that's supposed to be energizing, I found they weren't gentle enough for me and my face was irritated for a few hours after use, but that of course will be going in its own review on the item itself )

I was a little disappointed in the scent of these, but I think that's just a matter of personal preference.

The first couple of times I used them, I used the whole thing, but the towelettes are really big, and it seemed wasteful to use a whole one. I started cutting them in half and tucking the second half back in for the next night. I pressed the cover down as much as I could, folded the package over, and put it face-down on the shelf. I have the last half of one to use tonight, and even though it's taken me almost 60 days to get through the package, this last one is still nice and moist. Not as moist as the first one I pulled out almost 2 months ago, but definitely impressive.

I tend to have oily skin and some adult acne, and these wipes, as part of a combination of a couple of new products, seems to have helped. (I've also started using Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser with Bursting Beads in the morning, followed by Garnier Lightweight UV Lotion, if you're curious.)

I also have the Morning Refresh Ponds Wet Cleansing Towelettes. I've found the towelettes so convenient and quick at the end of a long day that I'm going to cheat and start using them at night once I use the last one of these.

Bought these hoping they'd be my evening solution for makeup removal, face cleaning, and a little moisture. I cannot get over the scent. It is horrible and WAY too strong. There is no way that all that fragrance is good for the skin or eyes, I will be returning this product. Additionally, I have oily skin and it felt dried out after using these. Not pleased at all.

MD Formulations Facial Cleanser Sensitive Formula

I bought this product based on me having used other MD Formulations products including the Basic Facial Cleanser and loving the way my skin looks; however when I used this Sensitive Skin Formula I got a very bad reaction. My face broke out with bumps on my cheeks and forehead (a bad case of cosmetic contact dermatitis). My face felt and looked like it was small bubble wrap. I am sure that this is a wonderful product based on my previous use of other MD Formulations but definitely not for me. Needless to say I returned the product. Since that experience, I purchased the MD Formulations Basic Facial Cleanser and have not had a reaction. With having said that, I believe that there were some botanical ingredient(s) in the Sensitive Skin Formula that I had the reaction to. I would not hesitate to purchase this or any MD Formualtions product but if your skin easily reacts to certain ingredients like botanicals, please be cautious.

This product was recommended to me by another user and I decided to give it a try. I have sensitive skin and it is a bit on the oily side. After just a few days my skin was noticably cleaner the pores look better and my skin is not shiny by day's end. I have been using their other products in conjunction with the cleanser so I do not know if this product alone is responsible for the results. Worth a try.

The woman who does my facials recommended this to me because I have sensitive skin. I found this cleanser to be great because it doesn't really have any odor to it, its really lightweight, non-drying and leaves my skin feeling very soft after a cleanse. One bottle lasted me about 3 months, so they give you a lot for the money it costs. That said, I also found similar results using Purpose that you can find at a drug store for a lot less. I actually switch off between the two now, since the Purpose is really gentle, but does not have the acid, which renews the skin.

One hint: use as directed. The bottle says to put it on a dry face and then rinse off, which I've never heard before, but you can feel a little tingle when you do it that way that you can't when you apply on a wet face, so I suppose it takes off more dead skin that way.

I purchased this set because I am a huge fan of the face oasis moisturizer, love the eye hydrator and thought it might be fun to try the cleansing water again. I have to say, I am very impressed with the way these products work together.

Obviously this is not your tradition 3-step system (cleanse, tone, moisture or spot treat), nor is it advertised as such-but the products all have that ocean fresh scent and all work well together for my oily skin. The cleansing water does not make my skin overly sensitive so that I have to wait hours before applying a moisturizer. I'm in love with the regular liquid Purity cleanser, so I thought I'd give these wipes a try. These wipes are awful. They leave a greasy feeling all over my face. I'm a new mom, so I thought this would be a quick way to wash my face. I just don't like them at all b/c my face ends up really shiny and tacky feeling. These are nothing like the regular cleanser. I'm just keeping them for a makeup remover before using cleanser and thats it. I'd say just stick with the regular liquid cleanser and don't waste your money on these.

I am a total wipe addict baby wipes, anti-bac wipes...you name it, I love them. I'm also totally lazy when it comes time to go to bed, and the whole face washing ritual is often too much. These seem like a perfect solution. However, my skin is significantly less happy with these than with the Purity wash. In fact, I find that my skin behaves much better with plain unscented baby wipes than with these. Having said that, everyone's skin is different, so maybe they'll work well for you! 2. This product is NOT UNSCENTED. It contains freesia. Also chamomile. The freesia smell can be overwheming for those with allergies. Such a shame. Avon should bring back soft pink bubble bath. Such a light, clean, almost not existent scent. Bubbles last forever.

Cucumber melon is one of my favorite scent combinations. However, the melon in use is usually a honeydew scent. This cucumber melon is definitely based on cantaloupe. It is pleasant but not the cucumber melon scent I was looking for. Note: the description of the product does not tell you what size the bottle is it is a nice surprise to find it is a large 24 oz. bottle.

I love this moisturizer, period. Prior to trying LIGHT I had been using the same commercial moisturizer for years. It did the job, but was filled with all sorts of artificial ingredients and smelled like it. I have been using LIGHT Feather-Weight Organic Facial Moisturizer for around 6 months now. I have combination skin which creates white spots on my chin, large pores and from time to time flaky dryness. My skin is also very sensitive and gets irritated very quickly. I have tried many moisturizers such as OLAY and Clinique. OLAY for instance dries on my face and comes off in little white pieces, which I totally hate. Before LIGHT, I was using Neutrogena, but my skin felt dry and dull.

I love LIGHT, my skin feels lively, but not oily. It absorbs well. I am very satisfied with it.

The only problem is the pump. This product is not cheap according to me and I want to make sure I use all of it. But with the pump that is hard to know. And then sometimes it will squirt here and there. AT times, if one leaves it in another position then upright, it will take a while before anything comes out etc.

Another thing is that I always have to buy 1.2 oz, because the bigger size of the product is actually more expensive (higher price per oz). I haven't understood the logic behind this. So I have to order several bottles of 1.2 oz, instead.

I have tried so many creams and moisturizers for my feet (heels very dry and scaly) and for my daughter's legs (very dry and ashy in the winter), nothing ever worked, especially long term. I heard about this cream from my dermatologist (he wasn't trying to sell it to me--doesn't carry it in his office). The first thing I have to say is that when I opened the jar, the smell was wonderful. In fact, my daughter (4 years old) and I kept smelling it for the 1st week because we thought it was so yummy! I read the other post regarding the smell--I guess it is all up to the individuals smell receptors. I found it to be very mild and clean smelling--no cloying perfume smells. After using it for the first time, there was an immediate result. It is so thick and luxurious. It doesn't completely rub into your skin (which has always been the problem with other products). at first i really liked this line of product and thought it was working, but after two weeks i didn't notice it anymore. plus i was HIGHLY disappointed when i opened the package only to realize i got a body spray (which smells terrible) instead of the moisturizer. even looking back in the product description it states moisturizer NOT a spray. yes, the picture shows a spray but i was trusting what was written in black ink. i would give them another chance. maybe if i tried a larger size in the bottles i could see the effects over a longer period of time. we'll see.

I like these cleansing cloths because they are easy to use and seem effective in taking off my make-up etc... I use them when I travel and sometimes at home when I am too tired to properly wash my face. They also have a pleasant smell compared to others I have tried.

I was disappointed. While the product does remove foundation easily, water proof mascara is a challenge. You really need to scrub a little. The product also burns my eyes . The towelettes are a little to thin .

I like this product. All natural ingredients, and it does have a tightening effect. The only problem is, it is a very tiny bottle and does not last long. You cannot be stingy in applying it as you do need a certain amount to get the desired effect. Good product though, would recommend it.

It's pricy, but it only takes a tiny drop or two underneath the eye to tighten the skin and a little more for other fine lines. I'm getting a lot of nice compliments on how good I look. At age 77 that's a plus. I'm also pleased that it has natural ingredients. That's a Big plus healthwise.
