MenScience Face Buff Brush

I was hoping this would be stiffer than most face brushes, which are way too soft to do anything other than push soap around your face. The description of this being able to exfoliate and prevent ingrown hairs on men is misleading maybe if the bristles were more firm. Nope. Going back.

I was thinking this was a crazy product to spend so much money on. My wife saw me looking at it and bought it since I wouldn't spend this much money on a big toothbrush! I was wrong. It works really well and helps to prevent ingrown hairs. It just works. You wouldn't brush your teeth with your fingers, why brush your whiskers with them?

Update: I dropped on the shower floor and the handle broke. The plastic needs to be tougher. This is not acceptable for the price. It should be able to handle being dropped on the floor without breaking. Still, it does work.

Overall, I'm glad I purchased. I've been using it for 2-3 months and my face does feel cleaner than it did when I would just wash with my hands. It's like using one of those shower scrubbers, it works much better at removing dead skin. It's a little pricey for what is essentially a giant tooth brush. But its the perfect balance between hard and soft bristles, I've seen one that was too soft and I felt like it wasn't doing anything. You probably end up saving money in the long run because I can use a lot less soap now thanks to the lather it works up. You might be able to find cheaper options, but this one seems like it will last for awhile and works very well.

I thought it was a little funny buying a brush for my face, but it is surprisingly refreshing. It isn't the most comfortable feeling in the world, but it really feels like you are cleaning deep and getting all the bad stuff off your face. I notice a difference in the smoothness of my face after trying this brush a few times. The build quality is ok and that is why i gave it 4 stars but it actually works on my tough beard. I use in in conjunction with face scrub and the combination works well.
