I have been using this product on my face for nearly 2 decades. It has softened my skin and gives my face a great glow, in addition to tightening my skin. The only negative I have is the price. This soap used to cost just over $1, back in the 90s. Now, that is clearly not the case and it is all but impossible to find. That's inflation at its finest.

I also saw this product reviewed on The Doctors television show and I don't have age spots on my hands, but I do have Melasma on my upper lip and below one of my eyes. I find that this condition really bothers me and when I read more about this product I thought I would try it. I had been using Obagi Nu-Derm, but there are so many steps/products and I cannot deal with the excessive skin peeling. I have used this product 2x daily for the last month, I just ran out this morning. I have also been using the Nourshing lotion 1x daily (morning under makeup, but over the Total Repair). I am starting to see a difference and without any burning, peeling or embarrassing effects. I love how silky my face feels after applying and although I don't notice my Freckles fading (fine by me) like they did with the Obagi products, I am seeing the Melasma start to fade. Even my Mom and Husband have noticed. I am very self conscious about the Melasma and always wear cover-up/concealer (which doesn't really work all that well)... but now I feel less like this is the area my eyes immediately go to when I look in the mirror. I am just ordering another bottle and I am looking forward to seeing more improvement the longer I use it. It is a bit on the pricey side, but since it doesn't require a perscription and doesn't have any harsh effects on delicate skin... I am fine with it taking longer than a couple of weeks to see improvements. I will continue to use both of these products.

Little disappointed in this product. Saw on The Doctors which indicated that person saw brown spots fade after using for two weeks. I have been using longer than 2 weeks and brown spots seem the same.

Product does not work for removing spots. In fact it made the spots brighter. A lotta hype for a do nothing product. Just another money scam!!!

I absolutely loved this conditioner. I will buy it again. Great for conditioning the hair back to health. Great deep conditioner with heat. I love the natural ingredients this had in it as well. It left my hair feeling very soft and manageable.

This conditioner leaves your hair feeling more like it was conditioned with a volumizing condition, read: dryer and hard to get a brush through. I can barely rip a brush through my hair after using this for a week. It DOES smell incredibly good, but my hair is so left frizzy with the ends undone (I have fine, straight hair) that the smell just isn't worth it. :(

This product works fine for me, although I do not use it everyday. Make sure you wash your hands after use because it can bleach fabrics.

I love proactiv. The thing is, I don't use the toner and the repairing treatment every day. I only use the cleanser every day to wash my face, and then for a couple days I do use the toner and the repairing treatment. After that, I take a couple days break, so my face will not get too dry, and then use all of it again for the next couple of days. Just don't use it every single day for an entire week, well you could, but your face might start to peel. It's best to switch it up, it's much more effective that way! OH and don't go in the sunlight for long periods of time when you are using proactiv! You can still use it over night, but in the morning before you go out in the long day in the sun, just wash it off, even if you just used the cleanser. Still wash it off. And by a long day in the sun, I mean like, spending an entire day in the sun where your face could get tan! Spending an hour or so, won't really matter, it's fine. If you spend too much time in the sun while proactiv is on, you could get more acne, but it's not too bad.

DO NOT make the mistake of using too much toner to "rub off" a zit! DO NOT DO THIS. You will get your face burned, and it might take a couple weeks for the burn to go away. If you accidentally did this, use eucerin calming creme to heal the burn, it will heal much faster.

But yeah basically proactiv is good! If you need to get rid of your acne, try it! IT's good

I have used this for about a year. I love it. My pores have visibly gotten smaller over the time span of a a year. When you first take the mask off, your skin is very tight and your pores are smaller. I don't really care for the pink mineral soap that comes with the mask, but it makes the mask easier to take off. Also, be sure to use a clean utensil when you are applying the mask to keep the PH level balanced don't dip your fingers in the jar or after a few uses, the effect will be minimal.

I started buying shower gels to take to the gym as it was easier that trying to mess with transporting wet bars of soap. I first tried this product about a year ago when it came as a sample with some musical instruments I had purchased from an online store. I was very impressed with this stuff as it gives a cool feeling to your skin when you put it on. This is especially true after shaving. Another plus is that it dissolves into you face and doesn't give you that greasy feeling that many other moisturizers can do, even after a long day. I have pretty oily skin, and I can say that after using this stuff daily for 3 weeks, It seems to have brought alot of the oil under control. Im not a dermatologist but it could be that when you wash your face it gets dry and the oilyness comes from your face secretions trying to re-hydrate it. I would say that this product definitely is a good moisturizer. Also this lotion seems to have brought more of the color back in my naturally tan face. Overall I am impressed and I never used much lotion before. Now I use it every time I wash my face or shave.

I now find that that soap dries my skin too much so I grabbed some Olay Daily Wash perfect. I already used the Total Effects moisturizer (see below) and sometimes get the body wash in the winter, so I liked Olay. No dry skin, storkbite redness gone, and no breakouts at all. Pretty affordable too (compared to the moisturizer). Tone is overall evened out. Skin's just a bit brighter. I've only used it for a few days and I surprise myself in the mirror with nice skin and needs far less makeup for redness. Simple little cleanser leaves you as clean as soap without the dryness and doesn't leave you feeling layered in goop like so many other products do. Don't worry about it feeling like you can't rinse it off the minute you towel-blot is miraculously perfect (like the body wash of years ago was). Love it.

I'd started getting frown lines while still having pimples (yay!)a bit before I got the cleanser I started using Olay Total Effects nightly for my combination skin (stork bites are around nose). What a difference! It absorbs perfectly and leaves no film, and there's no adjustment period where your skin breaks out. Helps fine lines SHOW LESS (not sure it can get rid of them) and balances skin. You don't need much so that helps the $ a bit. I don't use it under makeup because I use mineral powder only and it gets in its way if you can't wait 15 minutes after applying. I'd do it if i needed to but i don't. Once a day before bed is enough for me.

If you have average to sensitive skin with no major issues to contend with, Olay products are a perfect, SIMPLE solution to maintain healthy skin. It has never required an adjustment period for me, spreads well, and never leaves a film. They interact well with each other, too. No overnight miracles but overnight RELIEF with long-term improvement. Strongly recommend. I have 3 skin products in my house Olay Total, Olay Daily, and Mineral foundation. Costs me about $60/yr and I don't spend endless hours shopping around for any of it and wasting $ on new things that disappoint. Simple, affordable, effective.

And, really like it. It has the granules that feel like it is really scrubbing into the skin. The only thing I don't like is that it seems like it doesn't last very long but the secret is, when it doesn't squirt anymore, put some water in with it and it will last another 2 weeks or so.
