I've used Shikai shampoo for quite awhile now and I really like it. I feel good not using all those "bad" ingredients and my hair always feels and looks nice. I have very long hair and I think this shampoo is the best.

I've used this shampoo for several years after suffering with dry scalp and not finding anything to help. My hairdresser told me to avoid products with amonium laurel sulphate (which most off the shelf shampoos have) so I tried this shampoo, among others, and my dry scalp problem is over. I live in a very low humidity climate so this helped greatly! Love it!

Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap 75 gm

I bought the 80-piece package of Chandrika original green soap from Amazon because theirs was the best price for a bulk shipment. And the reason I ordered such a large amount is that I can't be without it.

Some don't like the fragrance, saying it is too strong, but I love the smell of it in the shower and on my skin. It isn't meant for mucous membranes, being an ayurvedic product designed for a specific purpose. And that purpose is cleansing the skin and aura of the spiritual detritus that builds up and clings during the day. That is why many people say it makes them feel so good and clean and I find it has exactly that effect on me, which is why I love it so much. It is much more than a simple soap. If I've had a stressful day, or just been out shopping among a lot of people, at a party, etc. showering with this soap gets rid of the muddied or disjointed feeling, and makes me feel calm, peaceful and centered. I highly recommend it for this purpose. Note: Don't confuse this one with the Chandrika Sandalwood soap with an elephant on the box. It doesn't have the same effect. This is the original green soap in the plain green and brown box.

Mario Badescu Glycolic Foam Cleanser (6.0 oz)

I discovered this in the Mario Badescu salon in NYC where one of their reps suggested I use this for gentle exfoliation and summer acne flare ups. A bottle should last you more than a year if you use the right amount (a tiny dab per wash it lathers very well & glycolic acid is powerful stuff). Massage the lather thoroughly to allow the acid time to penetrate your skin. Use a little more if you have lots of makeup on. I tried DDF and other brands afterwards (of glycolic wash) and none measure up to Mario Badescu's. Your skin stays bright and fresh (from the non abrasive exfoliation), and the product just smells clean (not over perfumed or chemical laden). The glycolic toner will not last you as long, but is a good pairing if you have summer induced acne (minor t-zone/hairline). I recommend getting a salon consultation or reading up on their web page to gauge the frequency of use that is good for you. I consider this a bathroom cabinet staple, and in the fall/winter, I rotate use of it with a more moisturizing wash. Regardless of season, rinse well and always follow up with the right moisturizer for your skin.

When buying this I was skeptical to use everyday as it says its a Glycolic cleanser. I tried it anyway and within a week saw amazing results. I have a few old acne scars and some white spots/discoloration. After the first week of use (everyday), my face was bright and the scars were lightened and the discoloration was even! I couldn't beleive it. I continue to use everyday along with exfoliating pads to help with removing dead skin, to keep skin bright and even. The cleanser is gentle and has no smell. A small amount goes a long way and this will last a long time. I love this and will continue to use everyday!

Anyone who knows me knows that I adore Badescu. (No animal testing! Not offensively expensive! Amazing products for all skin types!) This product is great -but it's not great for me all the time. I have redness issues, so I only use this cleanser occasionally. If your skin is a little heartier and you can tolerate stronger exfoliation, you will love this one. This set is very interesting I cant get over how great they smell. I really like them both alot. I am for acne products right trying to find the one, and we all know how that goes. The gel works amazing and leaves the skin feeling smoothed and refreshed and not dry. Its also super easy to spread through the face and to wash off. It also helps keep the face from breaking out more. The lotion I like cause it is like lotion but not at the same time. Just dab a few drops on a cotton ball or rag and wipe it all over face and neck. You can put this on many times a day and doesn't need to be washed off at all. I like how it makes my face refreshed and it also has a scent so it reminds you its on so you don't try to touch your face. I've used Buf-Pufs to clean my face for years. The little scrubber works wonders on minimizing razor burn and ingrown hairs, as well as keeping my skin smooth and clear of blemishes. This was recommended to me by another mother whose pre-teenaged son was dealing with the usual pimples on his face. Body Shop Wild Cherry Shower Gel

I started buying shower gels to take to the gym as it was easier that trying to mess with transporting wet bars of soap. Some of the gels I tried were either very expensive or felt like a cheap product. This gel is neither. This is a newer fragrance i think and it is one of their best. My favorite from the Body Shop is still Mango but this one comes a close second. I bought some little bottles that I fill up from this big bottle and one bottle last me a quite a while.

The problem with so many non-soap products is they don't clean skin well enough and they're not clean rinsing. Meaning whatever they're made of however gentle is clogging and does not rinse off the skin thoroughly, which in itself is irritating to skin. On top of it I have found many natural-type non-soap products very bad for the shower drain with their tendency to gunk and build up. This is a gentle liquid soap (although the company calls it a "skin cleanser") that you can use for your hands and body. I used up two bottles in a about two months as a hand soap, only using it occasionally on my face. The pump is great, very practical. The scent is light. This soap contains a small amount of grapefruit seed extract, which is supposed to kill germs naturally. This bottle is larger than your average bottle of bathroom hand soap. This cleanser foams up quite nicely. It doesn't dry my skin out or leave any strong lasting fragrances on my skin. I will be buying this again.

I am not one of those women that likes to shop, so my sister was kind enough to inquire at some beauty store about the dark spots on my face (mostly scaring from picking at acne) and the fact that I have extremely sensitive skin. My husband actually noticed and said that I looked like I was glowing -his word, not mine. He then asked if I was wearing makeup, which I never wear as it irritates my skin really bad. I got a sample of this product from Sephora and I fell in love with it. I had some spots from scarring on my face and after a couple of weeks, the spots were almost gone. I wanted to keep using it, but it was quite pricey through Sephora. I did some searching and found it much cheaper on Amazon. I use it daily after washing my face and applying toner. As recommended on the bottle, I apply one pump of the product to my face and let it soak into my skin for a minute before applying moisturizer. This product is truly amazing. My skin is clearer and blemish free. I would recommend this product to anybody.

I ran out of my Murad Skin Perfecting lotion a while back and wondered if I should give something else a go to see if I could get even better results. I have to admit, I'm not big on cosmetics or fragrance, but I *do* think that Murad makes really great products for skin and I have seen drastic improvements with some of their different products (most of which they discontinued...) I have been eyeing the Active Radiance Serum for a while, but I wasn't sure if it would make a difference on my skin and I was a little nervous about spending eighty+ (Murad price) on something that wouldn't make any difference.

So I decided to order the Murad Radiant Skin Renewal Kit because it had a smaller size of the Radiance Serum along with other products from the line.

I have to admit, I'm really glad I didn't order the Radiance Serum by itselfI had always assumed it did double duty (both a serum and a lotion) but this product is ABSOLUTELY NOT a lotion or a moisturizer. It's the consistency of antibacterial hand gelit's very very thin and very antiseptic in smell and feel. It smoothes on skin nicely, and the effects are immediatethe skin tightens and there is a definite tingling (this is *not* a good product for those with sensitive skin).

But besides the tightening, I really can't say I noticed a huge difference in the tone of my skin or the overall health of my skin, and the fact that you have to use this in conjunction with a lotion/moisturizer when many companies offer the same products combined in one deters me from purchasing the Active Radiance Serum again.

So while I do like the effects it has on my skin, it's one step too many and I have seen similar results with a lotion (especially Murad Brightening Cream, which they discontinued...) so I think I'll continue on my search for the perfect anti-aging and skin-brightening lotion/moisturizer all-in-one.

I have used this product along with other Murad products for 3 years. It has helped change appearance on my face. Although if you want the full effect must use the rest of the Murad products. I have thick, fine, long, and unfortunately oily hair and have been searching for a good shampoo for years. I have slightly oily hair, and regular shampoos leave a residue on my hair that makes it dull and flat. Also I'm allergic to strong perfumes. This shampoo leaves no residue, and doesn't overly dry out my hair. And it has a nice subtle citrus scent that doesn't bother me (and I'm VERY sensitive). It also lathers wonderfully, better than a lot of natural products. I just put a little Whole Foods conditioner on my ends to make it more manageable. Would definitely recommend.

The reason i bought this shampoo is for the pleasing citrus aroma, hard to find nowadays.

Most of the stuff out there is grapefruit or some other disgusting citrus combo, but i want a strong ORANGE citrus scent, and this fits the bill. A little touch of lemon or something else in there as well, i cant place it, but whatever it is i love it.

I have been using this product for about 7 years along with dermalogica but I absolutely LOVE this cleanser! Even washes makeup really well. Face actually feels soooooo nice and soft after unlike any other cleanser I have tried. I have really sensitive skin and I NEVER have had any side effects using it. I have used this product off and on for about five years. I think someone else has come out with a better product and change but always go back to the Chamomile Cleansing Lotion.
