I was a little disappointed to see that the first ingredient was mineral oil though the image on the bottle is an olive suggesting it is olive oil based. (It's the 7th ingredient) Either way, the product is great for gently removing stuborn eye makeup with out havign to scrub and has a pleaseant added fragrance.

i bought this when I was just learning about the oil cleansing method and thought I'd try it out. It's okay. It's commercial which means it turns a milky white color when it hits the water. It moisturizes and I did notice a difference, but you'll get that with any oil if you use it right. It did come in a really cool bottle so that was kinda neat.

I'm not usually a big bodywash praiser i mean they're nice but not world shaking right? Well this one comes close for me. This is perfect for removing makeup or just a quick refresher.There is a bit of a sting if you put it on broken skin, but I'm assuming that's the "brightening" aspect of it. I really wanted to like this but while it smelled fantastic, I'm not sure it actually does much for my hair. It smells wonderful, like fresh cut grass and basil. It's a very light, summery type of scent. However, when it comes to performance it just left my hair a bit sticky (I'll try it again by using less product). It just doesn't feel like it actually is doing much for my hair, like smooths it out or makes it healthier. It's a good thing that I only got a small travel size of this stuff and didn't spend more money on it (and then get stuck with a big bottle of shampoo that doesn't work so great). I am hoping to have a better experience with Klorane's mango butter line (again, purchased the travel size bottles to try it out first). It's worth a try (like in the smaller travel size) but, go in with realistic expectations and don't expect miracles.

I bought this product since it was recommended by a stylist. My hair has always been thin/fine but I had a ton of it...and then after having my son, it just got thinner and thinner. Although I don't have "patches" of missing hair, I can definitely see my scalp on top a lot more than I did before, and I would find strands of hair throughout the house. Before I discovered this product, I was already very happy with Ahava 3in1 Mineral Toning Cleanser as my make up remover because it really removes all my make up especially my eye make up and most importantly, it doesn't sting. I have really bad skin, my skin has been plaque with pimples and dark spots. Shea Terra Organics - Rose Hips Black Soap Deep Pore Facial Wash & Mask

Ready for the softest skin of your life?

I heard about this soap through a make-up video blogger who was a model on a shoot I photographed. She was very enthusiastic about this product, so I had to give it a try. This black soap is amazing, and probably unlike anything you've tried before if you are used to conventional face washes. This stuff really breaks down dead skin and works as a mild micro-dermabrasion. Your face will literally be squeaky clean when you finish using it. I found that using it daily was at times too much for my skin, and I would peel a little bit. So expect a bit of experimenting to find out what works best for you. I use it about 3 times a week. (I also use the Moroccan mint black soap on the days I don't use the Rose Hips soap. The mint version which they now market as a body wash is a bit milder and I like the minty tingle.)

This soap (which really is black) has a thick, jelly like consistency. You only need a small amount, but note that it will not lather like a traditional facewash. It doesn't really need to lather to work, but some people find it more satisfying to see lather. If you are one of those people, follow these instructions:

-Start with a dry face/hands. This is key, people are using way too much water, and when you add a lot of water to something that's like a jelly, the product just ends up in your sink.

Pump a nickle-sized amount of product into your palm, rub it a bit so it breaks down, and then use your fingers to start working it into your face. As you rub the soap, it will break down from a thick, jelly-like consistency, to something that resembles mud. Get it to that muddy point on a couple spots on your face. You are not using any water at this point.

This stuff is thick, so you'll still have some left on your palm. Now add just a few drops of water. You only need a tiny amount of water! Lather the soap in your palm until you have a good amount of later, and then apply that to your face. From here on out, just work the product into your face and add a tiny bit more water if necessary.

Using this method will allow you to get lots of lather, but it is a slower process than a normal face wash. If it starts to dry down, you can add a few more drops of water and keep it lathering indefinitely.

When using this product as a mask, I just rub it into my palm until it looks muddy, apply it, and let it dry down. A little water worked into a small part will start it lathering when you want to take it off.

One last tip, this stuff is black, and if you don't rinse it all off, expect to have marks on your towels. For this reason I usually use it before I hop in the shower. I put it on outside the shower, because too much water will cause the product not to lather and slip down the drain.

This soap is supposed to dissolve dead skin and you will feel some stinging as the enzymes do their magic. I didn't find it to be that bad, to me it's enough to feel like it's working. My skin does not feel tight after rinsing. I know some people have mentioned the odor I honestly don't even notice it anymore. It smells different, but not bad. I'd prefer something that smells natural to chemical fragrances any day.

This soap will give you amazingly soft skin. I have never been one to be really loyal to one brand of face cleaner or shampoo, but I have been buying this stuff for about 2 years now and don't see myself ever stopping. It's one of the only products I use that I actually make sure I stock up on well before I run out.

After using this product for a week, I've gotten the same results as one microderm abrasion. I would purchase this product again.

This is a great item to have on hand for times when you can't take a traditional bath or shower. This would be a great item to take on a camping trip. It's mild so it's good on fragile skin for the elderly and even for newborns. It does not dry the skin or itch afterward. It has no tingling or any kind of unpleasant sensation or odor with it. This toner is a little harsher than I'd like it to be, and I can't really tell if it's doing anything for my pores. I have been using a pore minimizing cleanser, and that's definitley been having an impact, so maybe this product is working well in conjunction with the other, but I really don't know. There's nothing particularly wrong with this toner, it works at least as well as any other toner, but it definitely didn't knock my socks off.

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Treatment Pads, 60 Count

So my sister introduced me to these. She's always had pretty clear skin, with an ocacional break out, maybe around that time of the month, but she was never really acne prone (like me). All of a suden, she was covered in cystic acne. Huge pimples wich even left marks on her once beautiful clear skin. Needless to say, she was histerical about this. Tried every over the counter cream, lotion, you name it. Nothing worked. She had to go to the doctor and ended up using Retin-A. Wich is the only thing that worked, but at a $125 dollars a tube it was hefty. Not to mention it worked, but didn't clear it 100%.

Well, I don't know what possesed her one day and she decided to give these a try, eventhough nothing over the counter seemed to work. Well! what do you know? Not only did these work, but it worked better than the Retin-A. Even the marks went away. Her face became totally clear. Having paid $125 bucks for the Retin-A, this was a steal.

She got me on them and they worked great for me as well. Although I didn't use them every night, but every other night. I no longer use them, because ever since I started to use organic jojoba oil as part of my cleansing routine, and under my moisturizer and mineral make up, I no longer break out. So I don't need them. But if I needed them for any reason, I would definitly get them again. They may not be for people with regualar, or dry skin. But if you have oily skin and/or problems with cystic acne, give these a try. You might be in for a nice surprice. If they dry you out, follow treatmente with a few drops of organic jojoba oil. That should do it.

P.S My sister recently discovered that the reason for her suddern crazy break outs, was ovarian cysts. Her new dermatologist took one look at her when she walked in the door and immediatly said "you have cysts!". This condition also caused her to gain weight, and it caused her hair to start falling out. So if you have any of those symptoms, have you gyno check you out

This stuff rocks, I guess I've been doing it wrong the whole time by just using face washes and expecting my skin to clear. Suffered acne my whole life, and this stuff just straight up rocks. It doesn't make my face super red like most "leave on" topical acne solutions. I use a super mild face wash, this stuff, and then a moisturizer after it dries and I have no dryness/flakiness at all. The previous reviewer must have especially sensitive skin because I use this product twice daily in addition to a 12% glycolic acid cream in the evening with great success. I am thirty one years old and only suffer a sensitivity to sulfur products, otherwise, I would not characterize my skin as sensitive. Unfortunately, I do suffer from hormonal and stress acne breakouts and generally clogged pores. I am very happy to have discovered this product. To me, it smells like an autumn campfire, and it brings with it such a sense of joyful relaxation that i like using it even though i don't really have skin problems. After using this for the first time, I noticed a difference in my skin. My clogged pores were cleansed and looked smaller, and also my skin overall looked brighter. This is the first time i have tried this stuff and im pretty impressed. I put it on and left it there to dry for 15 minutes and then it washed right off. My skin feel tighter but not dry. And my pores really are noticeably smaller. I will keep using this. It does tingle but its not bad.

So, I have some Lumene products that I really like and there was a deal on this so I decided to try it out. I didn't realize that it was a tingling sort of mask. I really don't normally enjoy those because I always associate the tingles with burning.

My cheeks are fairly sensitive and I avoided those completely, unfortunately, it still tingled too much for me wherever it was applied. I had to wash it off before I could even allow it to dry.

I was really disappointed in the product and myself because I really love masks. Perhaps, a different one will be a better fit.

I guess I really can't say if it does what it say's it will. This is just my personal experience.
