Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Dandruff Shampoo, 1.7 oz

I have dandruff off and on. It's hard to predict, but once it sets in, it can be there for months. Naturally, I try a few anti-dandruff products. Recently, I was buying lot of very small-portion containers of grooming products, mainly to serve as traveling aids. I spotted a 1.7-ounce bottle of Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Dandruff Shampoo. Of course, I picked it up in an instant as it might serve two purposes at once. Actually, I used to use Head & Shoulders a couple decades ago and never found it to be particularly effective, but they may have changed it since that time. Well, I tried it this morning and it was a fairly good shampoo, so I can definitely use the small container for the traveling purpose. How does it do with the dandruff? Well, I'll probably need a few weeks to a month more to find out, but based on my trials to date, it seems to be helpful

Sothys Cleansing Cream 4.22 OZ

I was first introduced to Sothys by my esthetician in Taiwan who gives me the most amazing facials. She recommended me this cleanser because it has natural exfoliants and does not strip the skin of oils. I have very dry skin. I feel like this cleanser doesn't foam up as easily as my other cleansers which kind of bothers me. The texture feels a bit chunky...I don't know how to explain it. It haven't really seen a big difference in terms of exfoliation when I use this product. I think I will stick to the original Aesop cleanser I was using before.

As a medical doctor, I wash my hands about 50 times a day. Half the time, I use the Sam's Club version of Purell that I buy in the gallon jugs, but when you do that Purell too much, your hands feel sticky with gel residue. Granted, recent medical literature (in peer-reviewed journals) say that you kill more germs w/ Purell than you do with hot, soapy water. But the patients don't complain either way. They're just happy that the doc washes their hands in front of them.

Right. About this product, though...when I used Dial Anti-bacterial liquid soap for a few years, my hands would get really dry and scaly, especially in the winter when humidity is lower. Plus, using Purell gel half the time further dries them. (imagine that, rubbing alcohol drying your skin?). But since I've changed to this stuff, my hands stay adequately moisturized. I bought 1 gallon of this about a year ago, liked it, so I ordered about 5 or 6 more gallons. I think buy.com fulfilled the amazon order at that time.

Also, my jugs of soap say Softsoap aloe vera soap, and now the label online says Softsoap moisturizing soap. They may have changed the formula. I hope not, though. The worst enemy of good is "better"

The other review has a comment on it that says that $17 w/ shipping is too expensive, and Costco has it for ten bucks. But whether you buy it here or there, you're getting a great deal. My grocery store sells the same soap in a 7.5 oz pump bottle for $7.00, and this is 128 oz for $17. I don't need to do the math to know that it's a pretty good deal. (But FYI, you can refill that 7.5 oz. pump 17 times with a gallon)

Oh, yeah. One more thing. If you want to clean your hands, you have to rub and scrub for a bit. Neither soap nor Purell works without being rubbed in a bit. An adequate amount of time to scrub is the time it takes you to sing the "Happy birthday to you...." song. No, I didn't make that up. It's on the CDC website.

Softsoap is the next best thing to sliced bread. I purchased this from Amazon just by its reviews alone and couldn't be happier. I got my hands free battery operated soap dispenser from Amazon and filled it up with the Softsoap Moisterizing Liquid soap. The fragrance is great and the soap is remarkably moisturizing like it says. I am glad I got the gallon size cause the little lady likes it, and after all isn't that whats really important!!!

Soap is good Packaging isn't. If you order this, beware when you open it. If I had of know of the mess that was inside the box I would have opened it inside of my laundry tub and save myself a big mess to clean up. Still trying to get the stain out of my garage floor. Next time I will buy it in the individual containers on sale @ $1.00 for a 7.5oz. container. Will be cheaper considering what was wasted inside the box.

Had a great seller experience to boot!

It was packed really well in a second bag but the lid wasn't screwed on all the way -the lid sealer strip was askew.... anyway, so soap did leak...not much...but enough to get into the box a little bit. It was fine.

I wrote and asked for a small credit or something and they just sent me another gallon of soap. Mon dieu! Now i've REALLY got a lot of soap. It's actually overwhelming ;)

As for the soap itself, it's fine... I've only used it for a few days and I use a number of soaps throughout the house so I can't really attribute much to this one... it's silky when you use it and that feels good, and cleans off easily, so that's good. I think this is a good economical purchase any way you cut it!

I've been trying to find a facewash for my acne prone skin for a very long time! Everything I used (African black soap,grandma lye soap and a million other acne washes) broke me out. I've been using this face wash since March 11. Today is March 27 and so far I haven't had a pimple from it and the ones I do have are actually drying up. Usually it takes a new product a few days before I break out, but not with this product.

I've also started using giovanni's moisturizer as well, but I've only been using it for two days. Too soon to write a review, but so far it hasn't broke me out.

I love Giovanni hair and skin products. The only the product I do not like is Giovanni's Chocolate scrub. I stopped using Proactiv and switched to this Purifying Facial Cleanser. I started using it after having samples of all 3 steps. I have not went back to Proactiv. Recently, Proactiv had a recall on their face cleanser so I am definitely not using their face wash again. I've been looking for something that will help clear up my clogged pores without any salicylic acid in it for about a month now. I'm pregnant, so have to avoid a lot of common skin care ingredientsmaking it tough to find products that seem worth buying. I use to use this facial cleanser when I was a teenager and just fell in love with it. My skin was so clear, soft, smooth, and blemish free. I did not have trouble with acne and did not want to and this cleaner prevented all of that and I am 54 years of age and it still works like it did back in the day.

There are two things you need to know when you're ready to buy a Mason Pearson brush of any sort. One is the size: full-size (the largest size), handy (medium sized), or pocket (the smallest size). It's quite a large expense to buy any Mason Pearson product compared to other manufacturers of hair care items--it's a luxury item and the purchase is an investment--but it's worth it. If you're the type of person who would rather enjoy an evening at home having your hair brushed by your spouse instead of going to dinner and a movie, then you can justify the cost. That's how we did it :)

Natural Silk Sea Sponges

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually liked using this little sponge on my face. It holds a lot of water and absorbs well, but rinses out clean and dries quick. It was a bit expensive for the size, but after using it, I think it was well worth it. I would recommend. It is a nice addition to cleansing your face w/o being harsh or abrasive. I got the two inch size and it seems to be the perfect size.

I've been looking into alternative menstrual products for a while-we all know tampons and pads are wasteful, expensive, and full of chemicals. I bought a divacup and it didn't work for me, so I decided to try sea sponges.

I picked these sponges on a whim, and I'm glad I did! They are very soft and easy to cut to size. You boil them before use (because they harbor bacteria, which is why it is hard to find sponges marketed as menstrual products). Then it's like using a reusable tampon-change it minimum 3x a day, and rinse and boil between uses. Always boil well after each cycle-one sponge usually lasts multiple cycles.

These sponges worked very well as a menstrual product, very comfortable and easy to use. Now I'm considering buying some more for more conventional uses! I would recommend these sponges very highly for menstrual use!

I use it with the Alba Hawaiian pineapple enzyme facial cleanser and it cleans my face well. It's amazing how much product this little sponge can hold. Rinses out well and dries quickly. Good use for makeup application too.

I ordered the largest size they offer (3.5 to 4 inches). The sponge was much more of an irregular shape than the picture shown here. The four inches is measured from tip-to-tip of the longest possible dimension. Measuring 90 degrees from that, the sponge I got was only about two inches wide.

The sponge lasted just six weeks before falling apart. At $13.45 (with shipping) this is way too expensive. You can get LATHER Natural Sea Wool Sponge shipped for $14 and that is huge. You could cut that up to make at least four decent sized sponges considerably larger than this one. (I say four only to be on the conservative side.)

While it lasted, though, it was very nice.

This tiny sponge is great for gently removing soap amd even mud masks from your face. For my sensitive skin, a towel is not always an option. This sponge is gentle and effective. After using a mud mask, it cleaned up with very little effort. The sponge is also very soothing so watch out, you may doze off while using it.

I hate having to overpay for wet wipes, doesn't mean I haven't paid top dollar for them. These wipes are the perfect amount of moistness, are very soft, don't dry out your skin and don't dry out in the package. They remove everything a wipe can remove (my clarisonic is for the rest) except for waterproof mascara. Not even my expensive lancome eye makeup remover can remove all my waterproof mascara. All the top of the line wipes I've used work just as well and sometimes not as well. These come in many different scents, Citrus, Green Tea, Cucumber, Aloe Vera & Unscented. Make sure to scour your Big Lots, they carry these in the 30 ($1) or 60 ($2) packs.

I bought two packs of epielle pre-moisened tissues, neither of which were the Green tea kind. I purchased each for $1 so the other reviewer is correct, they are way overpriced on Amazon. They didn't help at all on my face, probably making things worse with my acne. However, because I hate to waste, I decided to clean my dirty bathroom mirror with these, thinking it would probably be a total disaster. Well, I have to say, these wipes should be marketed as mirror cleaning ONLY because they are amazing!!! I've never had such beautiful, streak free mirrors. I'm probably giving someone a great, free idea here, but seriously forget these things if you buy them for your face but go for it if you want beautiful mirrors ;)

Ever since middle school, I used the Kanebo Naive Facial Cleansing Foam in Peach which was great at removing the built-up oil/dirt & makeup at the end of the day. I was also using a St. Ives cleanser in conjunction for exfoliating. It wasn't until I received a sample after buying some Skinfood products of the Lavender Tea Salt cleanser, and I definitely fell in love with it. Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Nourishing Moisturizer, 2.5 oz.

I felt this product was a good facial sunblock, but it wasn't what I hoped it would be. I was looking for a daily moisturizer that contains sunblock. This product smells like sunblock and acts like it too.

After wearing it outdoors I felt the need to clean my face off since dirt seemed to be catching in it. This stuff sat on my skin, just like cheap sunblock. I had higher hopes for this Aveeno product.

I used this product for the first time last night. It makes my skin soft and feels fresh. It is different than what I am used to because of the thickness of the cream. I have eczema on my face that I can't even get rid of with medication...but it seems to be soothing that. So I think I will keep using it.

It's supposed to be a daily moisturizer and sunscreen (30 spf I think it was?), and it also has a light scent that I'm not really sure how to describe but smells nice! :D

The moisture makes my face feel very smooth and the sunscreen works good enough for me without feeling all thick and pancakey, I would know it works cause I burn easily but not with this stuff on and I have an oily face so it's hard to find stuff that isn't pancakey.

I love this and will def keep using it!

Definitely not for me. Made my skin excessively oily and gross which caused more breakouts than usual. Sunscreen did not help either. Overall a waste of money. My skin tends to be finicky, not quite dry but not oily either.

I love this moisturizer. I'm excited to have found a cheaper alternative to my Dermalogica Smoothing Cream which can get fairly expensive. As an added bonus, this product contains an SPF of 30, which my previous moisturizer didn't. Yes, there is a fragrance to it. It's a fresh/clean scent, which may bother some who are sensitive but I found it quite pleasant. It's a THICK moisturizer. I have combination/dry skin and it works well for me. I use less than half a pump (I'm assuming I use about a 1/3 to a 1/4 of a pump) for my face and the container is large so I'm sure it'll last a long time.
