This formula is great for my sensitive skin it's caused hardly any irritation, and I am slowly but surely starting to see the color and texture of my skin getting more evened-out. I am a big fan of this product line because they actually tell you how much retinol is in each formulation, and because it doesn't contain any extra fragrances or other trendy-gimmicky ingredients that might cause irritation on their own. However, if you do not have super-sensitive skin and can endure a couple of days of mild irritation, I think you could probably save the cost of a tube of this and skip directly to the 2x formulation.

I am 24 and I am starting to see small signs of age due to my excessive tanning over the years. I had some small wrinkles and discoloration that bothered me. I starting using Afirm 1x because of the recommendation to start with the lowest dose of retinol; this was about two weeks ago and I am extremely pleased. My skin tone is more even than I've ever seen it, my fine lines have almost disappeared completely and my acne is in check (for once!). I have been staying out of the sun, as directed, and will continue to do so. I recommend this product to anyone looking to start an anti-aging treatment. Mini-Story:

I was on a pill form of birth-control + I was sad + stressed.. = that ish..effed me up hard!!!! (plus i noticed lactose products were causing my skin to break out too) soooooooooooo u can only IMAGINE how my face looked.

Lets just say my skin got cray-ziiieeeeeeee! If you want pics, email me. It was nuts.

I finally got off the pill, dealt with my stress, put all the sadness to the side, reduced lactose intake and ...my skin started clearing up. But then i was left with all these red/brown spots, and scars..and bunch of bull from my acne.

I tried this cream...and till today I'm still seeing how its been helping my skin. Its not an over night thing, you gotta use this product for a least six months to see a COMPLETE turn over. Ive been using it for maybe 3 months, every day @ night...and to be honest I'm really grateful to have my skin under control for once in a long time.

Warning: my skin did purge. so expect that. Its just pushing everything that's deep within, OUT. So ya...and my skin still going through that...a lil bit more to go and I'll be good :)

Stay hopeful! This crap does end..and it will faster if you calm down, relax, drink water, get more intake of vitamin A, C + H20 and get some sun. Let your skin breath a little. Don't be ashamed of your skin....your not helping its self-esteem hahaha. (for real..)

This is a well kept secret, as you cannot find this product everywhere. I am a cancer survivor, so when my hair grew back in, I only wanted to use the "purist" most gentle product. (you have a new appreciation for your hair once you lose it and it comes back!). It is a shampoo and conditioner in one. It seems pricey at first glance, but you only need to use very little to get a nice shampoo. Nothing compares to it, and when I am out of it, I definitely notice the difference. Some stores that carry Naked Bee products do not carry this for some reason but it is the same price on Amazon so that's your best bet. Try it!

After using this for a week, my hair became incredibly dry and frizzy. I hadn't changed anything else in my washing/grooming regimen, so I'm sure this stuff was the culprit. It's too bad because it smells awesome!

Sometimes it takes a while for your hair to adjust to new ingredients, especially the more natural ingredients that aren't in name-brand shampoos and conditioners, but I decided to switch to something else. I've been using this cleanser for 2+ years. I'm in my forties, so I have aging skin plus acne (am I lucky or what?). One bottle lasts me 6-8 months. I use just a tiny bit to wash my face each time I shower. It has no smell, no grit, no grease. Skin feels perfectly clean. I can tell a difference when I stop using it. The flakes around my nose reappear and my skin looks drier than usual because the dead skin is still hanging out. Much easier on your skin than using a scrub or a washcloth to exfoliate. It's chemically based and extremely gentle. When I run out of Aqua Glycolic cleanser, I go back to using ProActiv and my zits come back and my skin looks rough again. I don't use any physical exfoliants anymore and my skin looks great. It's definitely worth a try.

I had very difficult combination skin: flaky itchy patches combined with chronically clogged pores. It was like I had a dry shell covering my face that appeared shiny yet wrinkly (VERY wrinkly for age 28) and prevented moisturizer from absorbing. This cleanser "dissolved" this horrible top layer with one use (no other cleanser has come close). I also feel tiny acne bumps rub off as I scrub, and it makes blackheads disappear. My eye sockets even look less sunken. I can't stop touching my face, as it feels as fresh and smooth as a child's. I love looking in the mirror because I look healthy and glow-y. Foundation looks smoother and more natural looking than before. I ordered the face cream as well, and found it to be equally high quality. I never expected a beauty product to deliver such dramatic results. I would recommend this line to anyone with dry and/or aging skin.

item cam fast and the bottle was much larger than I expected. I feel that this does not actually clean my face so I sometimes have to use a mild cleanser before using this. It worked well enough but nothing spectacular. I have since stopped using it and moved on to something that works better for me. However as far as glycolic cleansers go this one was good and comes in a large bottle.

This is a KEEPER!

For those around in the 1970's and early 80's -you might remember a product called "Body On Tap" that was a highly promoted beer shampoo. Sensational product back then. I loved it!

This is similar, but better. For YEARS studios have used a beer rinse to enhance the quality and SHINE of hair, when you are on-camera ( and I STILL think a beer rinse ((get the cheap stuff)) ) should be used before a photo-op.

While I understand your desire to clean your face, and clean it well, this formula makes skin "sensitive skin." I couldn't wash without the feeling I was using a medicated soap or bleach to wash my face, and I could feel the smell get into my eyes and nose. After using for about a week, I gave up and got the foaming clenser instead. It does the job, it's just very strong. If you *really* need some powerful cleaning, this'll work.

I tried the product months ago. I did not follow directions and went to my hair dresser in between and gave up although then I noticed no hair coming out in my comb. I was disappointed when I recieved this set, which was to be a gift for a friend. The packaging looked so much nicer online. In fact, the basket is cardboard and the products are very cheap. The sisal body sponge was torn and frayed! The product description is very misleading and I would be embarrassed to give this as a gift! I tried to return it, but it was not returnable! The product is cheap, not worth the money, and the whole experience was very frustrating.

This was a Christmas gift from my very well meaning and thoughtful daughter-in-law and son. I understand it is not returnable, so I will find it ANOTHER more appreciative home. I got this as a gift from Amazon from my sister. What a big disappointment! My poor sis was so embarrassed by the quality of the items she went to Bath and Body Works to supplement it. It needed more items like shampoo, bath oils or even bubble bath. A body scrub with the two loofahs would have been nice. I could have done without all the aromatherapy stuff they put in the CARDBOARD "basket" really, for $40 bucks? Cardboard? Seki Edge Blackhead Remover

It works fine but it's pretty big and certainly not travel size. For those who don't know how, place it directly over the blackhead so that is shows through the opening and you push straight down, sometimes rather hard depending on how much padding is under the skin. Look which direction the pore goes (you can see the discoloration through the skin) and push so it can work straight out of the pore even if it is at an angle. Still trouble, experiment with wiggling it around just slightly as you apply pressure down. This help work it out. Also it helps if you do it soon after a shower.

these don't work as well on the face, period. How hard the core is and where on the face you try to use it can be the difference between failure and success.

This can work on white heads, but it will hurt more. Just make sure you gently open the top with a needle before using the tool and pushing down. It will require less force and hurt a little less than it would if you didn't open it first.

We've had this incredible tool for over a year now, and wouldn't want to live without it! It works amazingly well, with two sizes to use, depending on your specific needs. It works 99% of the time, though there is the very rare moment that it might not work on a particular blackhead or pimple. Again, this is very rare! The people giving this tool bad reviews must be doing something wrong. I honestly can't imagine why they would say what they did. They probably didn't use it enough. This blackhead/pimple remover is far less damaging to the skin than trying to dig them out with your fingers, finger nails, or a needle, God forbid! Once I use the tool on a pimple, I cleanse the area, and put a blemish control cream on, and nine times out of ten, the area is 90% healed within 12 hours or less! Again, this depends on the blemish. If it's just removing a blackhead, the redness goes away withing 15 to 20 minutes and I'm good to go! Be sure to cleanse the area on the skin, and the tool very well after each use. I've seen similar tools at places like Sephora for a lot more money, and probably not as effective! I love this tool and can't say enough about how great it is! My husband loves it, and now my Mom wants one too! Try it and give it a chance! You won't be sorry.

My mom had one of these when I was a teenager, and it worked great. The only difference between the one she had and this one is the bigger hole on my mom's was a little bigger so I liked hers better. This pimple squeezer is fantastic! It works great on those pimples that you know you need to pop but can't get quite enough pressure on it--I know, gross--but you know what I'm talking about :) It's fantastic for those zits in those hard to reach places like right in the ridge of your nose.

I LOVE, LOVE the ingredients of this moisturizer. It's a bit smaller than I realized it would be (and yes I know 2 oz is small). I will definitely be ordering more once this is all gone. I use this in the mornings and at night before bed. I LOVE the smell smells like grapefruit. This moisturizer is not greasy and it does not clog your pores (something I always have an issue with). You also don't need a lot when applying. It goes on smooth and makes my face feel smooth. It leaves a mild matte feeling on the skin. I love that this is a really health moisturizer; my skin just drinks it up!

I was sceptical at first but have to say this really works. on the days I forget I notice I am a believer now.

I bought this at a health food store while looking to buy something to heal my hands and spend a $50 gift certIficate. I am a medical professional and constantly washing my hands, which leaves them dry and cracked. I also have psoriasis and embarrassing discolorations to my hands and arms. It's as described, smells like citrus and lathers nicely. It didn't do much to fade any spots though, good at moisturizing.
