Weleda Deodorant Wild Rose

This deodorant is fantastic. I have tried many different kinds of all-natural deodorants in an effort to be healthier and avoid the chemicals in the mainstream antiperspirants. A few years ago, I started trying to find all-natural deodorants, buying them at Whole Foods and my local organic markets. Here's what I found out the hard way: most of them flat-out don't work. The ones that do work have other challenges problems; they make you smell like a hippie (e.g., patchouli, tee tree oil), they leave grease stains under your arms and on your clothes (e.g., Tom's of Maine), and/or they are difficult to apply (e.g., crystal deodorant).

I had been using Kiss My Face "Scented" roll-on deodorant (orange package), which my husband still uses, but I was longing for the mess-free ease of a spray deodorant, as the roll-ons do take a moment to dry. I finally found it in this one.

With a manual pump, it operates easily and produces a fine mist but without aerosols. The scent is clean and crisp, and though it smells like roses at first, the smell fades into the background quickly, which I like because I don't like to smell like my deodorant and want to still be able to use perfume without it clashing. It also works instantly -meaning, you can use it to freshen up after a long day or before you go out for the evening and it instantly removes any body odor. I think this works extremely well for most everyday uses.

Finally, it lasts a very long time -I have about 20% of the bottle still left and I have used it at least once daily (2-4 sprays per arm) for about 4 months now. I just came here to buy another one and saw it had no feedback yet so wanted to give a hearty thumbs-up!

I try to be a healthy person for the most part. Excersize, eat healthy, use natural products when they are convenient or if they work.. No Trans fats check, no preservatives check, no high fructose corn syrup check, no aluminum chloride wait, what??

I think sometimes we put more thinking into what we put into our bodies and less about what we put on our bodies! My mom has told me for years that deodorant causes alzheimers disease... "ok mom, whatever, I'll deal with that later, but for now I don't want to stink and thanks to the genes that were given me by YOU, I WILL stink if I don't use 12 and a half swipes of deodorant on each armpit.. and even then, I will still probably end up with b.o. by end of day..."

I ordered this deodorant because it's cheaper and bigger than the L'Occitane deodorant I've been using, which still had the aluminum in it. I honestly didn't think it would work for me, all I have to do is think about getting b.o. and bada bing! I stink.

I tried the deodorant the first day I got it. And to my surprise, it really worked! I was impressed, but I wasn't totally sold... I had to put this product to the ultimate test! So this morning, I laced up my tennis shoes and did a 45 minute high endurance work-out burning over 800 calories!! When I was done, I was sweating like a pregnant nun in church, like I had just showered in my yoga clothes! As soon as I caught my breath, I did the old lift the arm and sniff test.. I was really expecting to smell a combination of b.o. and roses, but there was no sign of b.o. at all!!! I still haven't showered yet.. I was too excited to write this review, and my armpits still smell fresh (the rest of my body, not so much)

I'm switching my whole family to this product, if it works for me, it will work for anyone. Of course, I'll have to get the more masculan, less rosey scent for the hubby.. but first I'm hitting the shower.

I am allergic to most main stream deodorants and antiperspirants. I use other Weleda products so thought I would give this a try.

It really does eliminate odor well although it some times has to be reapplied throughout the day, the nice thing is you can do that and it is like starting fresh at the beginning of the day.

My main complaint would be that because it contains alcohol it can be a bit drying, and really stings if you have shaved within a day or so of use.

I typically like rose scent, but not this. This smells like cheap, strong cologne and I will definitely choose something different the next time.

I've tried a half a dozen "all natural" or "organic" type deoderants with very, very limited success. The best before I tried this one was from Burt's Bees with Sage oil. I live in south Louisiana and if I don't want to offend myself or anyone else around me in the summer months in the past I usually just gave in and used standard deoderant/anti-perspirants. The Weleda Wild Rose Deoderant WORKS. It smells nice going on and does a great job keeping me smelling nice no matter what the weather or what I had for dinner the night before.

I saw this at my local Indian grocery store last night for about $1.50. You mix a tbsp of this with water, make a paste and wash your hair with it. I added a pinch of neem powder for dandruff and amla powder for conditioning as well. It seems to soak into hair and scalp like a mask with little effort to rub it in. I left it on in the shower for about two minutes and rinsed it out. I didn't repeat or use a conditioner. I let my hair air dry and didn't comb through it wet. I rarely review anything, but nine months ago someone I trust recommended the Jane Iredale Magic Mitt. At the time it seemed too expensive to me. I am so kicking myself now. I have been using the magic mitt for over a month and I want to tell every woman I know to run out and buy one. I have average skin with hormonal breakouts. For the last few years I've been experimenting with gentler products, a wonderful oil moisturizer at night, baking soda to exfoliate, etc. But plain water and the magic mitt are almost all my face needs now. My skin isn't dried out after I wash my face and it's not oily in the morning. Also even hormonal acne seems to have a much shorter life span. Just using the magic mitt and then dabbing with tea tree oil on a q-tip resolves the problem spot in 1-2 days. I use a pretty strong sunscreen on my face and the mitt removes it but I had to get used to how it feels. When I rub the mitt on my face, it does remove makeup and sunscreen but I don't get the squeaky clean feeling that I did with soap. That took some getting used to. However my face isn't dried out and tight and I don't need to put a moisturizer on right after washing, either. I'll take happier, less problematic skin over squeaky clean any day. Plus look at how much I'm going to save by not buying all that face wash.

This is the greatest product ever. I have one that I've used everyday for the past three years and works the same as the first time. You can wash it as much as you want in the washing machine. No soap required, just wet the cloth and your mascara and eyeliner comes right off!

Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Foaming Cleanser 5 oz.

As someone who suffers with oily, acne-prone skin, I've learned that foaming cleansers are truly the best for cleansing my skin type. This cleanser performs very well at removing my makeup and cleansing my skin without leaving it feeling stripped (mostly, see below) or breaking me out. I purchased my cleanser from Target along with a number of other Boots No 7 products, mostly from the Beautiful Skin Normal/Oily range, and am absolutely in love with both the calming light green color of the bottles and the clean refreshing scent of the products in the range, a welcome change after using Aveeno's Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser (which coincidentally works just as well as this cleanser and is a few dollars cheaper, but whose scent I unfortunately found to be cloying the more I used it).

That said, I must admit that like other foaming cleansers, using it consistently, twice a day, can result in a bit of tightness and/or dryness. Until recently my solution to this dilemma was to occasionally skip washing my face. Gross! I know! But it was the only solution I could think of and my skin seemed happier when I OCCASIONALLY left it unwashed. Fortunately, while browsing the Boots section at Target the other day, I came across a new product in the Beautiful Skin Normal/Oily skin range called Cleansing Water which I initially mistook for a toner and purchased without realizing that it's actually a micellar water. At first I was disappointed I had purchased it because I already have the foaming cleanser, but after reading how great micellar waters are in general and that Boots' Cleansing Water ranks pretty well among them for both performance and price, I decided to try it out, and boy am I glad I did! Alternating between both cleansers has allowed me to find the perfect balance for my skin. Although it may seem like too much work (and money!) to have to purchase two separate cleansers, if you're someone like me who can't find a cleanser than can both cleanse well enough but not dry my skin out eventually, then alternating between a foaming face wash and a micellar water might just be the solution, whether it's Boots or Aveeno or any other brand.

I have oily acne prone skin that is a little sensitive. This cleanser takes off what little makeup I do wear and cleans my skin of oil and grime without stripping it. My skin is so soft! No redness, no greasy skin, and no breakouts either. Light smell and it foams up great. I love it!

The product works for me, but the words "8 strips EACH" implied to me that I was getting 8 nose strips and 8 face strips. Not so, this is just 8 nose strips. $12 for 8 is too much, the Walgreens brand works just as well and it's MUCH cheaper.

I was very disappointed in the watered down version of what used to be a wonderful product. I used Unicure for years and I remember very well how luxurious and thick it was. Seki Edge Blackhead Remover

It works fine but it's pretty big and certainly not travel size. For those who don't know how, place it directly over the blackhead so that is shows through the opening and you push straight down, sometimes rather hard depending on how much padding is under the skin. Look which direction the pore goes (you can see the discoloration through the skin) and push so it can work straight out of the pore even if it is at an angle. Still trouble, experiment with wiggling it around just slightly as you apply pressure down. This help work it out. Also it helps if you do it soon after a shower.

these don't work as well on the face, period. How hard the core is and where on the face you try to use it can be the difference between failure and success.

This can work on white heads, but it will hurt more. Just make sure you gently open the top with a needle before using the tool and pushing down. It will require less force and hurt a little less than it would if you didn't open it first.

We've had this incredible tool for over a year now, and wouldn't want to live without it! It works amazingly well, with two sizes to use, depending on your specific needs. It works 99% of the time, though there is the very rare moment that it might not work on a particular blackhead or pimple. Again, this is very rare! The people giving this tool bad reviews must be doing something wrong. I honestly can't imagine why they would say what they did. They probably didn't use it enough. This blackhead/pimple remover is far less damaging to the skin than trying to dig them out with your fingers, finger nails, or a needle, God forbid! Once I use the tool on a pimple, I cleanse the area, and put a blemish control cream on, and nine times out of ten, the area is 90% healed within 12 hours or less! Again, this depends on the blemish. If it's just removing a blackhead, the redness goes away withing 15 to 20 minutes and I'm good to go! Be sure to cleanse the area on the skin, and the tool very well after each use. I've seen similar tools at places like Sephora for a lot more money, and probably not as effective! I love this tool and can't say enough about how great it is! My husband loves it, and now my Mom wants one too! Try it and give it a chance! You won't be sorry.

My mom had one of these when I was a teenager, and it worked great. The only difference between the one she had and this one is the bigger hole on my mom's was a little bigger so I liked hers better. This pimple squeezer is fantastic! It works great on those pimples that you know you need to pop but can't get quite enough pressure on it--I know, gross--but you know what I'm talking about :) It's fantastic for those zits in those hard to reach places like right in the ridge of your nose.

I have used Wen for several years now. (Usually Fig.) I have always wanted to try SixThirteen but due to the price, I have not tried it until now.

Pros: By far the best Wen I have ever used! Leaves hair feeling very soft, manageable, and smelling awesome. (Seriously, this is the best smelling Wen ever!) I am not a fan of the smell of any other regular Wen shampoo (except for his seasonal scents.) However, this one is great! It smells almost like clean laundry (fabric softener). It has a light lemon/vanilla scent that is really hard to explain except to say it smells great.

Cons: Wen is very pricey and this is no different! It is by far the most expensive Wen that is offered.

Summary: I will continue to use and treasure Sixthirteen and will occasionally buy more. However, due to the price this will not be used everytime I have to shampoo my hair. I just can't afford to use it on a daily basis.
