I have easily irritated, dry/T-zone mature skin and this cleanser is very nice for my skin. The mild rice (or I've also found before that oatmeal helps my skin too) cleaned but was gentle too. And, it smells nice not all perfumey smelling. I'm pretty happy with it and will buy again.

I got this after learning that foaming cleansers can strip the acid mantle, cause acne, etc. ...but I am not pleased with the results.

To start, I am a long time fan of the Deva Curl line. These products not only are gentle on my curls, but they also make my hair look like I just stepped out of a salon every day instead of like I stuck a fork in an electric socket. This product line makes my hair low maintanece and looking amazing every time I style my curls.

That being said, I can't begin to say how happy I was when I saw they came out with a dry 'no-poo.' As low maintenance as my hair is, any curly girl that goes to the gym or does any sort of physical activities knows that sweat and curls don't always have an ideal mix. The curls by my forehead become limp and stringy from sweat, and unless I shower right after a workout, your curls tend to not look their best all day.

I started working out once a day on average, and I can only wash my hair so many times a week. (I try not to was my hair too many times during the week, as I found my curls in better condition when I only wash them 1-2 times a week) In the few days that I had the No-Poo Quick cleanser, I can happily report that I can have my Zumba class and my pilates without worrying about limp curls afterwards. Also, I want to address the difference between this dry "no-poo" and other dry shampoos. I tried using a several dry shampoos when trying to find solutions to the hair washing from the drugstore before, but they were way too harsh on my hair. My scalp felt dry and itchy, and my curls felt stiff and had an almost crispy like texture. One brand even left my scalp sticky and gross, it was awful. My hair had a stale smell to it until I had to do a washing. With the No-Poo Quick cleanser, it does remove the buildup of oils in your hair the same way a dry shampoo does, but in addition, it also moisturizes your scalp as well. This moisturizer is just amazing, I have the most horrible dry skin due to Psoriasis, and I've literally tried every moisturizer in the world and nothing helped, all they did was make my skin itchy and dry. EO - Hand Soap, Peppermint & Tea Tree, 12 fl oz (Multi-Pack)

I love this EO Peppermint & Tea Tree soap I've used it for about 4 years.

It's not only suitable for hands I use it as my daily face wash, and it does a great job.

I don't know if the tea tree oil in this product is killing any acne bacteria and therefore reducing facial breakouts, but I think it might be helping me a little in that regard.

A few months ago, I wondered if my facial skin would do any better if I returned to using a liquid soap that was specifically branded as a "face wash", so I tried several that were recommended by the customer reviewers on makeupalley, skinstore, sephora, and the like, as well as recommended by the skincare/cosmetics expert Paula Begoun on her beautypedia website. None of them left my skin in as good a condition as this EO Peppermint & Tea Tree hand soap, so I went back to using it!

My skin is pretty sensitive as well as breakout-prone, and is "combination skin" with an oily t-zone and "normal" cheeks (which become dry cheeks in the winter), but the EO Peppermint & Tea Tree soap has not caused any adverse reactions to my skin. It does not dry my skin out like many face washes do (even those that are marketed as being gentle on sensitive skin).

Unlike some organic soaps, this soap is quite sudsy, and one bottle lasts a long time (if you can get the hang of pressing down on the pump only partially, so just the amount you need comes out).

Also, I love and regularly use a few varieties of the EO shower gels and bubble bath formulas (on my body skin only) -for example, the Eucalyptus is lovely and warming in cooler weather, and the Tangerine Vanilla (I think it's called) is nice in warmer weather.

However, I did not have a favorable impression of their hand / body lotions, though (too oily and didn't absorb well for me), and their peppermint sanitizing spray caused a rash on the backs of my hands.

FYI, most stores only carry a few of the items/"flavors" made by EO, but their entire range of products is described on (and sold via) the manufacturer's website.

Clean & Clear Advantage Oil-Absorbing Cream Cleanser, 5 Ounce

First off, this is NOT a makeup remover lotion nor does it say that it is anywhere on the bottle. For that it doesn't deserve a bad review.

Secondly, NOT ALL products work the same for every person.

Thi product review is purely of my own experience with the Clean and Clear Advantage Cream Cleanser. I have battled with oily skin and acne from halfway through high school until presently (mind you I am nearly midway through my 20's). No matter what I used, (ELF, Avon, St. Ives, Neutrogena, etc.) nothing worked long enough to even start really fixing the problems. I never tried Proactiv since I heard so many bad reviews bout canceling orders and payment issues. A dermatologist was my last result, but I was highly aginst going even with my horrible acne. I only used this product as my mother referred it to me and boy am I glad she did!

I have religiously used this product along with the Acne Spot Treatment and Mark Treatment, 95% of the time twice daily, for three weeks now and I have never seen such great results in all my years of oil/acne treatment product usage. With any product you do have to use it at least twice a day so don't let this drive you away.

I used to have extremely oily skin and now I only wake up with the smallest bit of shine, but only on my nose. My skin is oil-free throughout the day, which is better since I work outside and that is less junk to be trapped in my pores.

As for the acne treatment side, this has worked just as well. Within the past month I have broken out worse than probably ever in my life and my skin is so much clearer, my acne has been reduced to small red spots (why I use the mark treatment). No matter what anyone has told me, certain foods DID make me break out. I have not had any new acne since the start of using this product and I am even eating the foods that did make me break out.

I haven't noticed my skin drying out even with the excessive usage of all three products so I opted not to use the moisturizer. I have nothing negative about this product. It is cheap enough to try. I just started using the Black Head Treatment so I will review on that as well. I hope these products work just as well for everyone else!

After using their previous oil control product called Finishes Mattifying Cleanser and loving it, they discontinued it and replaced it with this. I was sadly disappointed, it did not deliver any shine control and actually seems to make my pores larger.

I can't attest to the blemish fighting power since I hardly get any in the first place. I've stocked up on the previous product which I find at Big Lots until I can find a new product that actually controls shine or they bring back the previous product.

Let me start by saying, like a lot of women, I am extremely picky about my looks, the products I use, and my hair in general. I spend a lot on beauty products because I have tried everything, and stick with what works.

About my hair--I have long brown hair. My hair is very fine, and I've put it through the ringer and back--very light blond highlights, dye every few months--it's not good. And my hair--especially my ends showed it.

I saw the commercial for Wen and thought I would try it. Why not, I thought. I was extremely skeptical, though, because there are some serious haters out there. Also, some reviews said that it left hair extremely greasy, smelled bad and made hair fall out. I totally expected, based on these reviews, that I would be using it, hating it and sending it back.

Nope.

I have used Wen for three weeks now. The first time I used it, I absolutely loved it. It does not leave your hair greasy at all--people who say that obviously cannot read directions. If you totally massage the product into your scalp and work on cleansing your scalp, your hair is as clean as if you washed it with a strong shampoo. And about the hair falling out--when you use it, they give you a comb to comb it through your hair. Some hair comes out, just because it's wet, you just massaged your scalp and now you're combing it in the shower. It wasn't any more than usually comes out in the shower, though--it was just right there on the comb. My hair is soft and I no longer have to use a smoothing serum on the ends. Which means, I can go every other day without washing it, because I am not saturating it with product, making it disgusting and greasy. And, I think the brass is toned down in my hair. I don't know how to explain this, except for maybe my hair is less dry, and it seems a little darker and healthier. For once in a long time, I don't hate my hair.

I would not take the time to write such a review if I didn't believe in the product.

First off, if you want to try it, DON'T BUY IT FROM THEIR WEBSITE! Buying it from someplace else like Amazon is a smarter idea than what I did. I bought from the wenhaircare website and they sent me another 90-day package, which I didn't order, when I was about to return my 30-day package bottles. I already opened the second box not knowing what it was, so I hope when I send these bottles back they'll at least not charge me for the next two months.

The hair care process is a bit more time-consuming than I hoped for. You wet hair THOROUGHLY (1-2 minutes), lather 16-32+ pumps into hair (3-4 minutes), comb through (1 minute), leave it in for duration of shower (however long that means for you -keep lathering throughout shower), rinse (1-2 minutes -it's a lot of product to rinse out), apply leave-in conditioner and styling creme. You have to really focus on what you're doing with the Wen in you hair, so not only does that take more effort than regular shampooing and conditioner, but more time in the shower (which, for water conservers may be a big downside). The product is also thick enough to clog a weak drain, so be careful.

My last downside is that the 30-day or 90-day packages do not last that long. Following Chaz's instructions of using about 40 pumps every time I shower, my regimen lasted no more than 16 days. My advice is to use as LITTLE of it at a time as possible. He recommends the more the merrier; I say, use a moderate amount (at most 12 pumps for REALLY THICK hair in the shower) and cleanse more frequently than before.

Now for the results: it's pretty good. I'm a Polynesian woman living in tropical Hawaii with thick, curly hair. My only damage has come from one at-home relaxer years ago, pregnancy, and genetic hair loss. Curly hair like mine needs a lot of products to get it to listen to you. This one was no exception. For cleansing and making my hair feel soft and healthy, it did its job well; for making it LOOK soft and healthy and bouncy and curly, it needed some help. But I'm having a hard time going back to mousse and gel since using this, so now I have to find other styling solutions. Living in humid weather always adds to the frizz factor, but I thought this would at least ameloriate the situation a bit.

I purchased this product from Discountbeauty on Amazon a couple of months ago. The product that arrived at my house was a similarly packaged product labeled WEN Cleansing Conditioner, but the ingredients list was completely different. The real product's first 4 ingredients are Water, Aloe Vera Gel, Glycerin, & Chamomile Extract. This formula was cheaply made with Water, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, and Cetearyl Alcohol. When I contacted the seller originally, they claimed they purchased their ingredients "directly from the seller". When I provided evidence of a different ingredients list, they didn't bother to respond!

I looked into this and found a website called wenhaircare.com. This website sells a low quality fake version of the real Chaz Dean product, but they charge the same price. If you want the actual WEN product you must purchase it from www.chazdean.com or the QVC website. Wen hair products are not being resold for sale to anyone else. In the future, I will by my Wen from people who are authorized to sell it. And I will NEVER purchase anything from Discountbeauty ever again. This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. This is basically stealing.

I like this soap, but not because of the brand name. I have used liquid Castile soap "off and on" for many years, and have used different brands, including Dr. Bonner's. I purchased this particular size thinking it was larger than it really is. I looked at the container and not the size (remember, a gallon is 128 oz, this container holds a half gallon). My experience with liquid Castile soap is that it definitely cleans the body better than bar soaps.

The store that I usually purchase Castile soap from went out of business, so of course I turned to my favorite alternative source, Amazon online. I looked at different brands offered on the site and read a lot of reviews. I found out that you actually use the soap to wash your hair; that was a surprise. I use this soap as a body wash, a face soap, and to shampoo my hair, and I think it does an excellent job for each. But I must warn you that ladies may want to use a milder soap for sensitive parts of skin.

Bottom line, this is a good soap, but in my opinion, it is no better than some of the other Castile soaps, such as Dr. Woods, which is just as good, but cheaper in price.

I dilute this 5:1 to use in foaming dispensers. Instant lather. I can use 5:1 foam for dishes, hair, body, shaving, teeth brushing. If a foaming dispenser holds 8oz for 200 pumps and I use 20 pumps a shower, that's .13 oz of soap per shower. Thus I save money on soap which is more effective anyway.

10:1 in a spray bottle can be used for cleaning floors, cooktops, boat decks, car washing. Breathing the spray is irritating.

Gets bugs off bumper. Gets gelcoat white. Gets baked-on grease off pans. Gets red pepper stains off cutting board. Replaces 409, simple green, shampoo, body wash.

Sometimes the pump head won't come up on its own. This doesn't bother me.

Lavender tastes better than peppermint.

I am chemically sensitive and use this to make up dishwashing soap. I use 1/3 to 1/4 parts Dr. Bronner's to the rest water in an empty soap bottle and just use as you would any store bought soap liquid. You can use this for about anything, just dilute and feel safe to use without fear of chemical residue.

I use this for two reasons. One I dyed my hair over the summer and it began to shed from the dye being in my hair too long. Two, styling over time with heat just wreaks havoc on your hair. Since using I have less shedding and not as much hair in the comb.

This stuff is amazing. Just to clear things up, this is the REAL DEAL, it is not a fake product as per one of the other reviews. Have been using Proactive for a while now, although I've never had acne like a lot of the people who've bought it, but I did get body acne and I've gone through millions of products for it and have only found one by Anna Sui which they stopped selling unfortunately. I'm a long time fan of Dr Bronner's soaps. This order was everything I expected it to be as it is a BIG bottle of the same great eucalyptus soap that I've used for years. My two favorite scents are eucalyptus and peppermint. This is a great multi-purpose soap that is good for you and the environment. It feels great, smells great, and works well for many uses. I was introduced to the stuff as a backpacker because, unlike many soaps, Dr. Bronner's works well in cold water for bathing and dishwashing. It's also very concentrated so a little bit goes a long way. The size of this bottle makes it a great deal as I expect it to last me a very long time. In addition to the excellent quality, the bottles all have a bunch of odd religious ramblings about how we are "all one". Great stuff.

Have used for several years as daily body wash & shampoo. All versions smell wonderfully and have no chemicals. Safe and biodegradable. I love Dr Bronner's and use it for everything from floors and bathtubs to counters and dirty dishes. Dilute it with some water in a spray bottle and it seems to last forever. The Eucalyptus scent is really nice and not overwhelming at all. I expected it to be much stronger, but was pleased to find that it's a very gentle, fresh scent!

My husband loves this for his body soap I prefer the Rose scent. We by the large size and put in a pump dispenser and place in our shower and by our sinks for hand soap. The eucalyptus scent is very refreshing.
