I have been using this product on my face for nearly 2 decades. It has softened my skin and gives my face a great glow, in addition to tightening my skin. The only negative I have is the price. This soap used to cost just over $1, back in the 90s. Now, that is clearly not the case and it is all but impossible to find. That's inflation at its finest.

This is my favorite shampoo ever! I have very dry, curly, color-treated, and formerly relaxed hair. This is one of the few shampoos that I can use and practically comb through my hair without even using conditioner. Many other salon brands make it mat into a ball that I can barely rinse out, and causing me to use a very heavy conditioner to compensate. In fact, until I used this shampoo and a few others, (like Paul Mitchell Super Skinny), I didn't know that was even possible.

I purchased the Wen Cucumber Aloe styling creme and after the first use my hair was transformed. Each time I use it the softer my hair becomes. I'm not sure how this stuff is getting such great reviews because the lotion is only passable--there are plenty of other cheaper and better ones. But even my hubby commented on it the smell of my hair (and not in a good way) and he never mentions that at all. I couldn't get past the smell. I rarely write reviews but I have to say Aveeno Therapy Cream really works. I used it along with the therapy moisturizing wash for bath time. Our daughter got eczema at 5 weeks old, really dry, red bumpy skin all over her cheeks, neck and ears. At first I thought it was baby acne so I didn't treat it right away other than wash it with mild baby wash (they say with baby acne there is not much you do to treat it since it tends to go away on its own). However her skin got worse and more red and dry when I finally realized it was eczema. After using the therapy moisturizing cream for about 5 days, her skin cleared up dramatically. In fact after the first day of use I started noticing the difference. I love this stuff, plus it is not greasy and its fragrance free which is great. I would give this product no stars for terrible advertising and product. The product in the picture looks well made, and the bristles look like a brush. When the product arrived the bristles were all different lengths and poorly grouped together. My wife complained that it was too rough on her face. I told her prior reviews indicated the brushes needed to be broken in. The next day she indicated it felt softer but at the expense of less bristles. By Day 3, over half of the bristles had fallen out and the brush was a matted mess of bristle. I received my product quickly, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be the same formula as from the original store. What I received has way more oil and it did not "firm", but instead caused a stye around my eye the two or three times I've tried to use it. I will not be using the product.

Tried this at a hotel in NYC and I went nuts for it. It smoothes the skin. Loved it so much I had to purchase it. I am a usual neutrogena user, but this I am liking better.

First off, this is NOT a makeup remover lotion nor does it say that it is anywhere on the bottle. For that it doesn't deserve a bad review.

Secondly, NOT ALL products work the same for every person.

Thi product review is purely of my own experience with the Clean and Clear Advantage Cream Cleanser. I have battled with oily skin and acne from halfway through high school until presently (mind you I am nearly midway through my 20's). No matter what I used, (ELF, Avon, St. Ives, Neutrogena, etc.) nothing worked long enough to even start really fixing the problems. I never tried Proactiv since I heard so many bad reviews bout canceling orders and payment issues. A dermatologist was my last result, but I was highly aginst going even with my horrible acne. I only used this product as my mother referred it to me and boy am I glad she did!

I have religiously used this product along with the Acne Spot Treatment and Mark Treatment, 95% of the time twice daily, for three weeks now and I have never seen such great results in all my years of oil/acne treatment product usage. With any product you do have to use it at least twice a day so don't let this drive you away.

I used to have extremely oily skin and now I only wake up with the smallest bit of shine, but only on my nose. My skin is oil-free throughout the day, which is better since I work outside and that is less junk to be trapped in my pores.

As for the acne treatment side, this has worked just as well. Within the past month I have broken out worse than probably ever in my life and my skin is so much clearer, my acne has been reduced to small red spots (why I use the mark treatment). No matter what anyone has told me, certain foods DID make me break out. I have not had any new acne since the start of using this product and I am even eating the foods that did make me break out.

I haven't noticed my skin drying out even with the excessive usage of all three products so I opted not to use the moisturizer. I have nothing negative about this product. It is cheap enough to try. I just started using the Black Head Treatment so I will review on that as well. I hope these products work just as well for everyone else!

After using their previous oil control product called Finishes Mattifying Cleanser and loving it, they discontinued it and replaced it with this. I was sadly disappointed, it did not deliver any shine control and actually seems to make my pores larger.

I can't attest to the blemish fighting power since I hardly get any in the first place. I've stocked up on the previous product which I find at Big Lots until I can find a new product that actually controls shine or they bring back the previous product.

Olay products have been a staple in my household for many, many years. Recently, I purchased Olay's Silk Whimsy Cleansing Bodywash (23.6 FL OZ bottle) as I'd run out of my favorite Softsoap product. I was completely disappointed in the way this product lathers and the almost non-existent presence of any scent from its advertised rose extract and almond oil ingredients. Being a naturally cost-conscious person, I almost always use up a product that I even marginally like. This one I threw out. You can do much better, Olay. Spa Cosmetic Headband, headband ( Multi-Pack)

It's not a big deal, but there was no indication that what I'd be receiving was anything other than what the picture showedwhich was a white headband. My mother bought two of these years ago & could not find them anywhere. She is very particular, not liking the ones w/ velcro out there or the waffle weave kind they sell. She has a big head physically & the cloth headbands they sell in the grocery store just come right off of her head (they don't expand well). When I saw these were still available, she was happy, so I bought her two of them. She's fine with the color not being white, and though they were on the expensive side for what they are, at least I got her EXACTLY what she wants. They are thicker & wider than normal headbands, have more elastic, and really hold hair back well. They don't slip off the head easily, they last for years, and wash up in the washer & dryer beautifully. It's a shame these are no longer sold in the stores, at least where I live.

ZIRH WASH - Mild Face Cleanser

My glaucoma specialist recommended keeping my lids very clean to prevent infection of my blebs. He recommended a special lid wash product at night and baby shampoo in the morning. This works better than the baby shampoo. It is gentle and I can wash up to the eye lashes. You don't want to get it in your eye though. Works great for me.

Dove Men +Care Body & Face Bar, Deep Clean, 4 bars for a total of 17 ounces

I just tried out this product, and I absolutely love it. I love it so much that I am actually writing a review on it.

The scent is manly without being overbearing. The bars have a slightly gritty texture that helps remove dead skin. It feels great on the face without leaving it dry. Leaves my skin very smooth (as advertised). I will never again look at a bottle of axe.

First of all, I have to say, with absolutely no embarassment, that I am the kind of gentleman that in the 1920's was called a " dandy " and earlier this century was labeled a " metrosexual ". I manicure my hands, my feet, and I use very expensive body lotion to keep my skin freh, moist and supple. I sue the best shampoo for my hair type that I can find at the best possible price so that my hair stays soft, shiny, manageable and glistening. I sue the best toothpaste that will keep my mouth fresh and my teeth perfectly white. And on top of all of that, I am in constant need of a perfect bar of soap that will cleanse my body o the unfortunate malady that comes with being a human being: The fact that as living, breathing creatures with perspire, we give off odors, and ultimately we get DIRTY! To that effect, Dove Men's Deep Clean body bar goes a long way to doing everything it says.

First of all, the one thing I don't really like about this bar is the scent. It is citrusy, a heavy accord of lemony-grapefruit really wafts through the bar but when you are actually in the shower and you're cleaning yourself with the bar the scent is uplifting and actually smells nice. The bar gives off a rich, creamy lather that immediately starts to soften and moisturize your skin, and wih repaated uses, and I mean EVERY DAY FOR AT LEAST A MONTH, YOUR SKIN WILL BE BABY-BUTT SOFT. I bough5 an 8-pack of these bars at Wal-Mart because it is a personal policy of mine to never buy a product BLINDLY that I have never tried before at a price that I consider expensive, but when I went home and used it for the first time I was hooked and now this is my go-to, everyday cleansing bar. I tend to spend a lot of money on quality grooming products and I have spent lots and lots of money on superior bars, which have more moisturizers and indeed are better than this one but for the price ad value involved you cannot go wrong with this bar. Dove consistently manufactures quality bath products, I particuarly like their White? Pink Nutrium bars from a few years ago, and now that they're getting into Men' care thier first foray into this growing market is a good attempt which I hope will be successful for them. Apart from the heavy grapefruit smell, I give the bar 4 stars for the moisturizing properties, how your skin feels after you dry yourself off,and how clean you are and how pleasant you smell after you use this bAR. It is a good buy, go out and try it.

I was very disappointed in this product, especially after all the hype. The biggest problem is that it is NOT a good value. The "bar" is significantly smaller than the box. The softness makes it not last very well.

This could be tolerated if the product was really good. But, it is average at best. I prefer an unscented store brand similar to regular Dove to the Dove for Men Product. Better price. Longer lasting. Same basic results.

Dove for years has been great for producing soap that is healthy for the skin. But now that they have advanced in their products, Dove's Deep Clean Soap for Men is the best soap for your skin on the market. Just give it a try, and watch the way your skin feels after a wash. I must admit I feel comfortable in my own skin now:)

This is a very good soap and cleanse excellent. It's really big unlike some other brands and it leaves you feeling just really clean; especially with the micro-beads.However, I have no idea what the people saying "it has a nice scent" or "it's too strong" or "it's too strong" are talking about. It has NO scent whatsoever if you take a big whiff, you might get a little something but overall there's no scent.
