EO Protective Shampoo for Color Treated Hair, Rose & Chamomile, 8.4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)

I happened along this product while shopping at a local organic grocery in Sebastopol, CA. Since I had recently learned about the harmful effects of SLS and parabens, I was eager to try it out. I have color treated hair, so chose the Rose and Chamomile Shampoo and Conditioner for Color Treated Hair.

I am happy with the way it lathers, as many shampoos without SLS don't seem to lather very well. It cleans and leaves my hair looking and feeling soft.

I also did my own informal hair loss count, and find that I have 90% less hairs in my brush since I began using this product. I would recommend this product very highly. I have tried several other brands, but this is the product I will continue to use!

I switch between this Rose shampoo and EO's Chamomile for my normal/dry hair. This is the heaviest of their shampoos. Smells great--a real treat if you've been using chemically-based shampoos!

I am delighted with this shampoo! First of all, it smells wonderful. Yes, it's got a strong scent, but unlike most fruit-y and over-scented hair care products, this is predominantly the natural smell of roses. Not a perfumery rose, but a "real" rose, much like the wild rugosa rose we have on the coast of Maine. I happen to love it, so I was practically intoxicated with it when I first tried this shampoo.

It lathers up very well. This was a surprise because I've been a bit unhappy with the lackluster lather of most natural shampoos.

It rinsed out well, left my hair clean but not dried out, and shinier than it had been. I have a lot of gray coming in at my roots and color processed ends not a great combo! this shampoo made my fly-away hair look and feel so much nicer. It's a winner! I like it so much I threw away my other shampoos. I kid you not.

I have used the Protective Shampoo for color treated hair and like it's performance. It does not strip hair of color and it gently cleans without drying hair. I do think the rose & chamomile is a fragrance that is strong but nice. I could not continually use it like I can the lavender, though, because the fragrance is so distinctive and not as pleasing/calming as the lavender.

I was looking for something that was fragrance free, paraban free and well everything free. I typically used my body wash for down there, but you don't use body wash on your face, so why use body wash on your girly parts? The ph balance of this product matches the ph of your girly parts. It is NOT for internal use, and you should really never wash internallyunless you want an infection yeast bacteria or otherwisethen go for it. Beyond using this product every time I shower, I believe that it really helped me heal after pregnancy and deliver.

This was the best $100 ($97 & change) I ever SPENT! It may seem expensive until we ask ourselves: How much am I willing to pay for items that are NO good for me (from "fine" spirits to expensive high heels)? Years ago I had silk sea sponges which I used mainly for applying cosmetics. They lasted well and I loved them. I was down to my last decent sized one when I saw these. I have very sensitive skin and wanted to use these for washing my face. I had just ordered comparably priced sea silk sponges and they were like sandpaper. I was hesitant about ordering again, but am so glad that I did. While these are very soft, they are slightly less silky than my original. They are still quite lovely to use. On the plus side for these is their size. They are larger and you can wash your face thoroughly very quickly and rinse it off with these sponges. It can be used for a soft bath sponge as well.

There are no words to describe this day. ***sigh*** 9 months ago I went natural. I am an African American woman. I use this product in my natural hair. It works wonders. At times I may leave it as a deep conditioning treatment for 20 minutes with a shower cap for extra moisture benefits. There is a shampoo as well, but I use a shampoo from a different company, Carols daughter. While I wash it out, I add olive oil to my hair then semi blow dry it out. Comes out very soft and not hard to de-tangle. I love that its organic, it smells good, and the texture is thick, not WATERY. In the Trader joes store it is only $3 So I'm not sure why this is the price here?

I like this soap, but not because of the brand name. I have used liquid Castile soap "off and on" for many years, and have used different brands, including Dr. Bonner's. I purchased this particular size thinking it was larger than it really is. I looked at the container and not the size (remember, a gallon is 128 oz, this container holds a half gallon). My experience with liquid Castile soap is that it definitely cleans the body better than bar soaps.

The store that I usually purchase Castile soap from went out of business, so of course I turned to my favorite alternative source, Amazon online. I looked at different brands offered on the site and read a lot of reviews. I found out that you actually use the soap to wash your hair; that was a surprise. I use this soap as a body wash, a face soap, and to shampoo my hair, and I think it does an excellent job for each. But I must warn you that ladies may want to use a milder soap for sensitive parts of skin.

Bottom line, this is a good soap, but in my opinion, it is no better than some of the other Castile soaps, such as Dr. Woods, which is just as good, but cheaper in price.

I dilute this 5:1 to use in foaming dispensers. Instant lather. I can use 5:1 foam for dishes, hair, body, shaving, teeth brushing. If a foaming dispenser holds 8oz for 200 pumps and I use 20 pumps a shower, that's .13 oz of soap per shower. Thus I save money on soap which is more effective anyway.

10:1 in a spray bottle can be used for cleaning floors, cooktops, boat decks, car washing. Breathing the spray is irritating.

Gets bugs off bumper. Gets gelcoat white. Gets baked-on grease off pans. Gets red pepper stains off cutting board. Replaces 409, simple green, shampoo, body wash.

Sometimes the pump head won't come up on its own. This doesn't bother me.

Lavender tastes better than peppermint.

I am chemically sensitive and use this to make up dishwashing soap. I use 1/3 to 1/4 parts Dr. Bronner's to the rest water in an empty soap bottle and just use as you would any store bought soap liquid. You can use this for about anything, just dilute and feel safe to use without fear of chemical residue.

I bought it cuz my face gets flaky and dry in the winter. I have combination skin and was worried this cream would be too creamy and makes me break out. The cream smells great, goes on smoothly, and feels very comfortable, not oily/greasy as some creams are. Part of it does gets soaked into the skin, and part of it feels like it sits on top of the skin (but not in a bad way, just make the face feel smooth and supple).

It made my skin feel much more comfortable, even during the day, after a few use. It is even better paired with the serum, which soaked into my skin almost instantly altho having a milky texture. I tried the day cream version, which was slightly greasy and made me break out.

I would recommend this night cream for dry/combination/normal skin. I can't really tell if it reduces the one tiny teeny wrinkle under my eye (I'm 20 afterall), but it did reduce dehydration lines and makes your skin feel great. I would say this is mostly for wrinkle prevention and not for anti-wrinkle.

This product did a really good job in getting rid of all the oil on my face, but there really was no "acne fighting" medicine in it... I found that it really worked well for me for the first few months, but I am no longer using it. The Exfoliating part of it is just alright... You can barely feel it actually. But it did cleanse my skin and get rid of the oil. I won't be buying it again though.

Phytomer is my new favorite product line for facial care. The gentle cleansing milk works well and doesn't dry out my skin. Living in the desert requires constant attention to the moisture content for the largest organ of our bodies...the skin.

If you wear make up, this is not the cleanser for you. I was so excited to try and all natural product, though the price was higher than I wanted to spend. I am bummed out!! It doesn't get my make up off and I am left using a second cleanser to do the job. I guess it's back to Clinique for me.

This cleanser is great for the face when you wash more than once per day. It is gentle and leaves the skin moist without being dry. The only drawback is that it does not cleanse make-up that well and you will need additional makeup remover. However, I will continue to buy this product.

I used this product for 1 week and it made my skin break out worse than it ever did before. I use this cleansing gel to take makeup off and wash my face. My skin feels great afterwards, not too dry like some cleansers. It feels and smells good. It's pricey but it's a way I treat myself.

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Hand Caddy

Crabtree and Evelyn La Source scent is my very favorite. A friend gave me a tube of the hand therapy as a birthday gift several years ago and not only was the fresh scent delightful, the hand cream was the best I'd ever used for my dry skin. I have been hooked ever since. It is a little costly but worth it. I normally buy directly from the Crabtree and Evelyn website but this particular product hasn't been available for a while.
