I teach a professional makeup course, and I always add this item to students kits. Clients are amazed how their nails and hands feel after using this...actually, I use a lot of Talika products.

Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense Spf 50 Facial Moisturizer, 1.7-Ounce (Pack of 2)

The CETAPHIL UVA/UVB DEFENSE SPF 50 MOISTURIZER is pretty thick, so all you need is a little dab to cover the entire face.

The product claims to be "fragrance-free" but it smells just like every other sunscreen out there. That "sunscreen" plastic scent is really strong at first, but it went away after about 3-5 minutes or so.

I found the cream left a shiny-sheen on my face, though it wasn't oily and it's supposed to be "non-greasy," but I definitely had some shine going on.

Another thing I noticed was the thick-white color of the CETAPHIL UVA/UVB cream--probably from the titanium-dioxide--left my face with an ashen(ashy) color and I have very light olive-colored skin. But I've seen this happen with other sunscreens out there with an SPF higher than 25, so it's not unusual. But if you're dark-complected it can be a problem. Even if you aren't, these thick sunscreens start to cake after reapplying and then turn white with perspiration so be forewarned.

It's not bad for the higher SPF--especially if you're going to be out in the sun like at a parade or ball game or something--but I find the CETAPHIL UVA/UVB MOISTURIZER to be just average.

The small 1.7 oz size is handy to carry around in a purse or pocket, but it's not so good at the current price! You can get the same amount of UVA/UVB protection from Coppertone SPF # 50 Oil-Free Fragrance-Free 8 oz. for less money and more product.

This is a very good sunscreen product, and very straight forward. It has an impressive amount of effective sunscreen ingredients in a standard lotion base. There are no bells and whistles. It's sunscreen without fragrance, so it's suitable for men and women.

My face is oily and my neck is normal. This is somewhat heavy on my face, but not surprisingly so, given the high degree of protection. It is not heavy on my neck at all. It does leave a bit of a white cast which seems to fade as the skin absorbs the product. No one has called me Casper yet, so I don't think anyone has noticed. Neither the whiteness nor the heaviness are deal-breakers for me. They're a very minor tradeoff for a good sunscreen. This is worth trying no matter your skin type, and I will use this product again.

This product is very pleasant to use. It has almost no odor and it goes on like moisturizer. But the white titanium dioxide paints your skin a ghostly white. It soaks in after a while with extra rubbing, but I waited for 15 minutes and my face was still noticeably white. That is too long for me. If you have very pale skin it might not be so noticeable, and you might need the ultra-high SPF more. I could not consider this product as anything but a sun-block.

I guess this product might be okay if you have very dry skin, want a high SPF, and don't mind the fact that the zinc oxide isn't micronized and leaves your skin with a chalky appearance. For me though the deal breaker was how slimy I felt after putting it on. I don't even want this on my body.

I used it religiously for a couple of months. (under the eyes, jaw line, and forehead areas, twice a day).

The Anti-Aging Sea Serum (Parabens free) spreads easier, and you might feel like it's working really well, but all it does is hydrating your skin. Everybody needs a good moisturizer. Buy the serum and give it a try.

They say the infuser helps serums and creams to absorb much better. The light massage the infuser does (or what they call "micro-massages") you can do it with your finger alone. It's not worth spending the money.

I wanted to believe in miracles but at the end of the day I did not see a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I have been using the Opal Sonic Infusion System for approx 2 weeks, and have had many compliments that I never rec'd before. Some statements have been that I look like I've been on vacation because I look so rested. Another person commented on the color of my eyes that they have never noticed.

Careful when deciding to purchase or not there seems to be quality issues with the manufacturing make sure you register the product or buy it from somewhere that you can return it if you don't like it or if it breaks (I returned mine to Ulta after 3 wks no problems). I think that getting a good eye cream & being consistent with your routine is the best bet.

This is my second Clarisonic product. I received the Clarisonic Mia as a gift and just love the way it makes my skin feel and look. Based on my love for the Mia, and a particularly stubborn under eye area, I decided to give the Opal a try.

I have genetically bad under eye circles. When I was twenty, after a full night's rest, strangers would ask me if I was tired. It has been an uphill battle all the way to 42. Seeing as how amazon doesn't yet have a separate listing for the new SENSITIVE SKIN version of this cleanser, I'm posting it here. Though I think this product line is marketed more towards teens, this cleanser is excellent, superb, fantastic for my combination, adult-acne-prone skin! Doesn't dry out my face or make it too oily by day's end. So gentle it won't strip off make-up; to remove makeup, first smear a layer of this cleanser over dry, made-up face & wipe off with tissue. Then wash normally with more cleanser. Salicylic acid in cleansers is not very effective against acne, since it has to remain on skin for long periods to work. I leave this on in the shower for several minutes before rinsing, but for bad acne, you may need to use this plus a medicated leave-on product like Nature's Cure Body Spray (yes, I use that on my face and never had problems -but close eyes & hold breath before spraying!) May need to follow this with moisturizer, though I don't. It's also good to use a sunscreen product for sensitive skin in the daytime I like Neutrogena's sensitive skin sunblock. I love this product, try it...it may be the EUREKA! cleanser you've been searching for.

I never thought I'd be someone to like a cream cleanser, but this stuff works really well. It has a great smell to it, and after using it, my skin feels fresh and clean, but not dried out like most cleansers tend to leave it. As the previous review mentioned, it's great for taking off makeup too. It doesn't lather up like a soap, but it still seems to do the job! I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this product initially several years ago and experienced something which really left an impression. It claims to have a tingling sensation and it has that and so much more. Actually, when using this, my face feels like it's on a cold fire which tickles insanely and while it sounds negative, it actually feels great!

Besides, a very effective tingle (and I always like any product which feels like it's working) this does a nice job at clearing up acne and helping skin feel oil-free all day -though the product itself does feel a bit greasy. It's not drying, either.

ecoTools Loofah & Bamboo Body Buff

Here's a strange item I found in the personal care section of a grocery store. It's an Ecotools Body Buff made out of bamboo. It's a little rough pad on one side with a smoother pad on the other plus an elastic for your hand. I use it like a washcloth. I put body wash on it and then scrub as I would do with a washcloth. It's rough enough that it probably removes a lot of detritus and, if you want something a bit smoother for your face you can just turn it over. Of course, it can be washed with the laundry when it gets "stale."I'm going to get a lot of use out of this nifty little bath aid.

Great price. I have used loofah in lieu of washcloths for years. People who happen to touch me either on purpose or accidentally will invariably comment how soft my skin is. I do not feel clean unless I use a loofah! Shipping could have been a bit quicker.

If you have sensitive skin or adult acne, definitely give it a try :)

I was getting a bit annoyed with a shrapnel scar, so I looked into scar-fading creams. My doctor prescribed a harsh, chemical peel that would have wrecked my melatonin-rich skin. I like this product. All natural ingredients, and it does have a tightening effect. The only problem is, it is a very tiny bottle and does not last long. You cannot be stingy in applying it as you do need a certain amount to get the desired effect. Good product though, would recommend it.

It's pricy, but it only takes a tiny drop or two underneath the eye to tighten the skin and a little more for other fine lines. I'm getting a lot of nice compliments on how good I look. At age 77 that's a plus. I'm also pleased that it has natural ingredients. That's a Big plus healthwise.

I am 39 years old and have very sensitive skin, and because of that I had been using fragrance-free products by Clinique. I always thought I looked pretty young until I saw a picture of myself at 29. (Perfumed lotions make me sneeze).

I applied it the next morning again and noticed the same things. I decided to try it every other day and have to say I REALLY notice a difference! My skin looks almost as good as my pic from ten years ago.

I think the minor discomfort I mentioned is due to my sensitivity to most products, but because I am so pleased with the results I'm sticking with it.

Update: After using this for a week I no longer have any sensitivity and my skin is incredibly soft and luminous! I would change this to five stars but I am unable to edit that portion.

I found this product on a vacation in Ireland a couple of years ago. I have very sensitive skin, and I have tried just about every under eye product that exists. No matter what, I eventually get a rash under my eyes, so I end up with red blotches on top of my dark circles (not pretty). This is the first product I have ever found that helps moisturize the sensitive area around my eyes with no redness, irritation, or rash. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this eye cream. I am always on the lookout for new, cruelty-free products to try. I was extremely impressed with how creamy and hydrating this balm was. Because I have very oily skin I am always concerned about eye creams being greasy. This one was not. It gives the area under my eyes a nice dewy glow w/o being too shiney. I don't wear makeup except for a little concealer under my eyes, mascara and lip gloss. If you have dry skin around your eyes or are trying to prevent lines/help minimize existing lines, this cream is a great one to try. It is like a drink of water for the delicate skin around the eyes. I will definitely be ordering it again and have recommended it to several friends.
