ABBA Volumizing Thickening Shampoo (For Fine, Limp Hair) - 1000ml/33.8oz

My wife and I both have hair that is baby fine. We've used ABBA Pure Volume Shampoo for more than five years. It's unusual for us to be able to use the same shampoo for that long without needing to switch to something else, at least temporarily. I just hope we can still get it in the one liter/33.8 fl. oz. size. As the 8 oz. size is very expensive per ounce. After routinely switching, or at least rotating shampoos for decades, it has been wonderful to have one that has worked for so many years. Started with an 8 oz. bottle from a salon. Liked it enough to hunt down the larger size.

Note: When my wife went to pour the last of the big bottle into the "shower" size bottle for her shower, she found that the remainder was thicker than what she had been pouring before. So, over time, some of the ingredients will settle out. Therefore, if you buy a several year supply, as we have been doing, keep this in mind. Make sure the top is solidly sealed. (Maybe even put the bottle in a zip lock bag.) And turn/rotate the bottle every few weeks.

I've heard nothing but good things about Seventh Generation products, and by all accounts they are a highly regarded company. I purchased this pack of wipes to go in my diaper clutch (since most travel packs of wipes have something like 12 wipes in them; can't go very far with that), and it fits beautifully. The wipes don't stink, and they aren't sopping wet. But I think I've used softer wet naps after all-you-can-eat wings night. I hate using them on my kid because they just seem so harsh in texture, even if they use strictly mild ingredients. I'm glad the company is thinking globally, and I hope more follow suit, but I won't buy these again.

I love this body wash. It is very refreshing and leaves your skin feeling tingly and cool from the peppermint. It foams up just fine when you use it with a loofah, it may foam less than other washes because it is sodium lauryl sulfate free. SLS is a foaming agent used in many products including body washes, shampoo, toothpaste and mouthwash. Some people such as myself are sensitive to it. I used to have terrible mouth ulcers almost constantly, but when I stopped using SLS toothpaste and mouthwash they went away almost completely! My skin has been less itchy since switching to this body wash, and I also now use the shampoo and conditioner too.

Okay let me describe my skin to you first. 1. It's chronically dry. 2. I'm one of those fair freckled types, so I burn easily, and my skin is really sensitive. 3. For whatever reason I still get really bad acne from time to time even though I am not a teenager. So this stuff is....aaaawesome. I have skin that breaks out easily, most lotions and soaps dry out and break out my cheeks, chin and sometimes the area around my eyes. The skyn brand (started with the trial 5-day stressed skyn pack) of cleanser and lotions work great for me. At first I was worried about the cool tingle and thought it would result in a red welty face in the morning, but honestly my breakouts are less frequent when I use this product. I try to buy natural products. I've been on a decades long quest to find a shampoo that doesn't irritate my scalp. At one point I stopped using products all together and used just baking soda and vinegar, and that worked really well except for leaving my hair smelling of dog every time it got wet.

So I found a few products that work, I thought Sulfates were the culprit but that was NOT the case, so far the most successful product I have used has SLS as the first ingredient. If you have a picky scalp, I urge you to limit the additives, not necessarily the sulfates!

So I tried this product. It was ok.

The good: Cleans the hair and leaves it SUPER soft.

The bad: Really runny, hard to apply because of it. The smell reminds me of a dog shampoo I once bought. It isn't an unpleasant smell, but now when I use this shampoo my boyfriend calls me 'doggy head'.

This shampoo doesn't leave my scalp full of welts and scabs like store brands do, but it does dry out my scalp enough to leave it slightly itchy and sensitive. I'm not sure I'll be able to get through the whole bottle, I seem to be able to do alright with it if I alternate it with my super cool lush solid shampoo of success.

Kiss My Face Start Up Exfoliating Face Wash

There's nothing I hate more than using a face wash and then my skin feels dry. This doesn't happen with this product. It has a clean citrus smell which will make you worry it is too much like those orange cleaning products, but it is really nice when you get used to it. I think it is fine for sensitive skin because there are no texturizers. This has also reduced a great deal of redness in broken capillaries.

I'm 28 years old and have acne prone oily skin that is very sensitive to scrubs. The only thing I've been able to use to exfoliate is fruit acids or aha since they are gentler than stuff rubbing on my skin. For years I used the neutrogena healthy skin face lotion with aha and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide for acne. It did a great job exfoliating but left my skin greasy and those products are full of chemicals. I got fed up one day and thought I'd try natural kiss my face products. When I use the face wash I lightly rub it in for about 1-2 minutes then rinse...the fruit acids need time to be absorbed. I then apply the breakout gel kiss my face sells also to prevent acne and then their cell mate lotion. I recommend this face wash to people with sensitive/oily skin who are fed up with scrubs. I was worried that the 5% fruit acids wouldn't be enough but it is. Great product!!

I ordered this thinking it was a regular exfoliating cleanser with small particles like ground apricot seed powder, but it's not like that at all. It's a gel with a strong but nice fresh citrus smell. It cleans and rinses well, and it has made my skin quite soft. Plus it has great natural ingredients. But if you're looking for a mechanical/abrasive exfoliator, this isn't it, fair warning.

Update: This has become my favorite face wash. I now only use 'abrasive' exfoliators when my face is really grimy; otherwise, this does the trick. It removes my facial sunscreen and leaves my face feeling refreshed and clean, without residue.

First of all, the prices at the Vitamin Shoppe are GREAT. They're way cheaper than Kiss My Face's website, the other sellers of KMF here on Amazon, and the organic Whole Foods store here in Atlanta. I have had skin problems my whole life. Not acne, thank you!, but dry skin that cracks and flakes during the late fall and winter months and horribly oily skin in the spring and summer months. Great body wash for people with sensitive skin. It's the only wash I've found that does not irritate my skin. Cleans great and doesn't contain harsh chemicals.

It removes make-up, dirt and oil without drying my skin or leaving it with a too tight feeling. You can either rinse the lotion off with warm water or use a tissue to wipe it off. This product can certainly stand up to similar, more expensive products on the market today. Highly recommended!

This is great for travel since my skin always gets oily when I am in the car for a long time, road grime I suppose. A few minutes washing your face with this and all is well again.

I used to use Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser to wash my face at the end of the day and remove my eye makeup, but it usually didn't succeed in removing all of my eye makeup. I don't know if it's my mascara or my eyeliner that's being so tenacious but regardless, I'd rinse the cleanser off to reveal that I still had black smudgy makeup under my lower eyelids. Like the cleanser just pushed the makeup around rather than removing it. So I'd take the extra step of washing my eyes again and still I'd have to use a Q-Tip to try and gently swipe away at the black smudges afterwards.

This Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin removes my eye makeup from the start. Because of this, I imagine it does a better job of removing all my foundation makeup too which is important because I can be prone to breakouts if I'm not careful.

The Olay face wash is just as gentle, if not more than, Cetaphil's Daily Cleanser. It's my new favorite cleanser, and it's cheaper than Cetaphil too. And, NO FRAGRANCE. Yes!

During the winter I usually use Cetaphil Facial Cleanser for sensitive skin. That works fine on my somewhat oily skin when it is dry, but once summer arrives I need something different to avoid breakouts and that shiny look. The Olay Foaming Face Wash for sensitive skin leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh, not dry and irritated the way facial soaps (which I tried) do. I plan to use it for the rest of the summer, which gets very warm and extremely humid here near the ocean. The price here on Amazon is a real buy at a 4 pack for $19 or so dollars compared to $8 plus at our local grocery store and drugstore.

The wipes are large, very moist, and strong. Plus they are easy to get out of the package. I love the way they are packaged.

I use this product myself. It is a great product and unlike other flush able wipes this one is a good brand and has never clogged my toilet. The reason I did not give it Five stars on here is due to the fact that. I can walk into a local store. Any local store and buy this package of 144 count for 5 dollars. Though to order it online it is 10-15 dollars. Thats five extra bucks that could be put towards milk or other necessities. For 10-15 I would rather buy a different brand or large amount bulk.

Jack Black Pure Clean Daily Facial Cleanser

While this is an excellent product, I'm not sure that it's worth as much as they're charging for it. Nivea and Neutrogena both make face washes that I think are just as good for half the price.

If you're going to splurge on a Jack Black product, I'd recommend trying the beard lube (shaving cream), which is the only product they make that I find really superior to the less expensive options.

This is the best all-purpose, all-around daily men's cleanser that I've used and I've tried them all. As a guy with combo skin, it's been difficult to find a good cleanser that doesn't then require me to apply a toner. This has it all in one easy cleaning step and it doesn't dry out my skin. The best.

I bought this after having a great experience with the triple cushion shave cream, and now I'm completely brand loyal to Jack Black.

The cleanser does a great job of plowing through dirt and oil, and after you're done, your face feels like a completely blank slate. That being said, it does leave my face a little too dry. To remedy this, I just use face lotion afterwards.

After two weeks of using this twice daily (with lotion), I can say that my skin has never been better. My face has been clean and zit-free, and I've had no problems with dry skin.

As for the scent, it has an herb-y scent that I assume is from the sage it uses. After you rinse off the lather, there's no residual scent.

As for the use and feel, you just wet your face, pump once for a quarter sized doodle, and that will give you enough lather to wash your whole face. The soap pumps out soft and lathers easily.
