Weleda Deodorant Wild Rose

This deodorant is fantastic. I have tried many different kinds of all-natural deodorants in an effort to be healthier and avoid the chemicals in the mainstream antiperspirants. A few years ago, I started trying to find all-natural deodorants, buying them at Whole Foods and my local organic markets. Here's what I found out the hard way: most of them flat-out don't work. The ones that do work have other challenges problems; they make you smell like a hippie (e.g., patchouli, tee tree oil), they leave grease stains under your arms and on your clothes (e.g., Tom's of Maine), and/or they are difficult to apply (e.g., crystal deodorant).

I had been using Kiss My Face "Scented" roll-on deodorant (orange package), which my husband still uses, but I was longing for the mess-free ease of a spray deodorant, as the roll-ons do take a moment to dry. I finally found it in this one.

With a manual pump, it operates easily and produces a fine mist but without aerosols. The scent is clean and crisp, and though it smells like roses at first, the smell fades into the background quickly, which I like because I don't like to smell like my deodorant and want to still be able to use perfume without it clashing. It also works instantly -meaning, you can use it to freshen up after a long day or before you go out for the evening and it instantly removes any body odor. I think this works extremely well for most everyday uses.

Finally, it lasts a very long time -I have about 20% of the bottle still left and I have used it at least once daily (2-4 sprays per arm) for about 4 months now. I just came here to buy another one and saw it had no feedback yet so wanted to give a hearty thumbs-up!

I try to be a healthy person for the most part. Excersize, eat healthy, use natural products when they are convenient or if they work.. No Trans fats check, no preservatives check, no high fructose corn syrup check, no aluminum chloride wait, what??

I think sometimes we put more thinking into what we put into our bodies and less about what we put on our bodies! My mom has told me for years that deodorant causes alzheimers disease... "ok mom, whatever, I'll deal with that later, but for now I don't want to stink and thanks to the genes that were given me by YOU, I WILL stink if I don't use 12 and a half swipes of deodorant on each armpit.. and even then, I will still probably end up with b.o. by end of day..."

I ordered this deodorant because it's cheaper and bigger than the L'Occitane deodorant I've been using, which still had the aluminum in it. I honestly didn't think it would work for me, all I have to do is think about getting b.o. and bada bing! I stink.

I tried the deodorant the first day I got it. And to my surprise, it really worked! I was impressed, but I wasn't totally sold... I had to put this product to the ultimate test! So this morning, I laced up my tennis shoes and did a 45 minute high endurance work-out burning over 800 calories!! When I was done, I was sweating like a pregnant nun in church, like I had just showered in my yoga clothes! As soon as I caught my breath, I did the old lift the arm and sniff test.. I was really expecting to smell a combination of b.o. and roses, but there was no sign of b.o. at all!!! I still haven't showered yet.. I was too excited to write this review, and my armpits still smell fresh (the rest of my body, not so much)

I'm switching my whole family to this product, if it works for me, it will work for anyone. Of course, I'll have to get the more masculan, less rosey scent for the hubby.. but first I'm hitting the shower.

I am allergic to most main stream deodorants and antiperspirants. I use other Weleda products so thought I would give this a try.

It really does eliminate odor well although it some times has to be reapplied throughout the day, the nice thing is you can do that and it is like starting fresh at the beginning of the day.

My main complaint would be that because it contains alcohol it can be a bit drying, and really stings if you have shaved within a day or so of use.

I typically like rose scent, but not this. This smells like cheap, strong cologne and I will definitely choose something different the next time.

I've tried a half a dozen "all natural" or "organic" type deoderants with very, very limited success. The best before I tried this one was from Burt's Bees with Sage oil. I live in south Louisiana and if I don't want to offend myself or anyone else around me in the summer months in the past I usually just gave in and used standard deoderant/anti-perspirants. The Weleda Wild Rose Deoderant WORKS. It smells nice going on and does a great job keeping me smelling nice no matter what the weather or what I had for dinner the night before.

I'm not one to rave about a product, but this toner really does deserve a great review. I use toner for two reasons; clear acne and clean off makeup. All of my old toners have left me very drynormally because they contain alcohol. Not only is that not the case with the rose petal, it actually has aloe vera which is a moisturizing agent instead of a drying agent. Jackpot!! I'm able to use this with ease and no worries. My skin isn't being damaged as a result of cleaning it anymore...

I'm a facial product junkie (hello, Sephora addict!) I'm always trying new skin care products and looking for something that will make my combination skin clean, balanced, and fresh. This stuff is by far the best toner I have ever tried. The Clinique stuff always dried out my skin too much (because of the alcohol). And then some toners that are alcohol-free don't actually do anything to clean your skin, so they are worthless. It's hard to find a good one, but this is it!

I use this product after using my cleanser because I want to make sure I get any residue or debris of make-up off. This gets my skin smooth and clean without drying it out. Plus, I find the subtle rose scent to be quite pleasant.

A self proclaimed cosmetic skeptic, I've been using this for 3 months now. I am 48 years old and honestly my skin really does looks years younger. I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS CLEANSER!! The Garnier foaming Moisture Rescue cleanser comes in a generous size and only takes about a dimes worth to use. What really caught my attention was two things; 1. deep cleans and 2. moisturizes. Please note if you have oily skin this may not the best cleanser for you. The smell is a nice fruity one but in no way overpowering. Make sure to dampen your face and hands first. Afterward my skin felt incredably clean and hydrated. Using this on a daily basis, I have found that I don't get dry skin flaking up around my forehead, and especially on my nose. I have only used this a few times recently (so, maybe I shouldn't be writing a review until I have used it for awhile) but I love this. It's smells good (just like the lotion, that I use every day as my face moisturizer). It cleans your face, takes me make up, and makes it soooo smooth. I love it. The feeling after you watch and pat your face dry it amazing. I really like it cause my face does break out and is dry during winter and this really helps put moisture back into it. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser - 16 fl oz

I have VERY sensitive skin, with some atopic dermatitis. My face, earlobes, chest and shoulders, and insides of wrists seem to be the most tender and will get red, itchy, hot, or blotched with a rash, if I am not careful about gentle cleansers, lotions, perfumes, fabrics, etc. Compound this sensitivity with the fact that my skin is extremely acne prone if I am not careful. I have switched from Purpose liquid cleanser (a nice product) to Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser lotion and am amazed by how nice it makes my skin feel. It is extremely soothing. I no longer get the above mentioned red, itchy, hot, rashy etc. skin since I've started using this product and the Cetaphil Cream (original cream in the jar) twice daily. The Cetaphil products are not a treatment for acne, but they are so gentle that they don't interfere with the topical meds you might be using and for me that is exactly perfect. (I use an AHA to exfoliate my skin and keep it acne free) Both Cetaphil products seem to help my skin heal old marks that I thought would stay as light scars, and it keeps my skin so much healthier than before. My skin now never feels taught, or dry. My skin now feels smooth and soothed. The cleanser is not like anything I've ever used it does not "lather" in the traditional sense. It is like smoothing a soothing lotion all over your skin you gentle rub, and it removes all traces of my waterbased makeup and mascara (better than anything I've used before!). It seems like the makeup just melts away and rinses off, rather than being lathered away. I like the feeling now that I'm not expecting it to suds. The great part it never stings my eyes. I even use it when shaving my legs, as a shaving cream, and I don't get razor irritation anymore. It's gentle enough for babies too. You can use it with water (which is how I do it 90% of the time) just rub it on and rinse it off. Or, you can use it without water, rub it on and wipe off with soft towel. (How handy when traveling I think I'll keep some in the car to clean my hands on the road) This product is completely free of fragrances which is important to me I love it. I can't think of a way they could make this product better unless they gave it away for free :) I'll buy it for life. By the way, if you want to feel really indulgent, use this all over in the shower, you'll feel like you've been pampered. It's great. As a comparison, I did try Eucerin products, and sadly, I'm one of the 1 out of 180 people with Atopic Dermatitis who seems to have trouble with the lanolin in the Eucerin products. For me, Cetaphil is the way to go. :)

I am 13 and have extreme combination skin. Some places are so oily that 6% benzoyle peroxide cleanser was prescribed my my dermatologist, other places were so dry that my skin cracked, peeled, and burned painfully. I noticed my little brother, who is 3 and has eczema, was using it. I read on the bottle that it was a cleanser, so i looked it up on the internet and heard how good it was. I've used it for two days and my skin is clean and soft. The different skin types have been evened out already, the oily places not nearly as oily, the dry places moisturized without that disgusting clog your pores feeling. I apply it, rub in, then towel off, leaving a tiny bit behind. I'm not going back to my prescription cleansers and moisturizers, why should I? Cetaphil is reasonably priced, fragrance free, and my face doesnt hurt. Thats reason enough for me.

I love this product! My doctor had recommened it to my brother who has extremely sensitive skin. And I tried it because I ran out of my usual face wash and hasn't switched back since (4 years ago). It says you can leave a thin film on, but I find that it makes my skin itchy so I rinse it all off with warm water or if I am camping, I just wipe it off with a wet towel.

It's the best as a make-up remover especially eye makeup like mascara. I used to use the Lancome Bi-facil double action eye makeup remover which is really good, but this works even better for so much less.

I also use it like a moisturizing face mask wash and rinse face (with the cetaphil), apply a fair amount onto skin and leave for about 10 minutes, then rinse off again.

This stuff is like 1/10 the cost of my previous face wash but works better! And because it's doubles as make-up remover and mask, I can carry less when I travel.

BUT my husband, who has really oily skin, thinks this stuff is too "weak". He still uses it, but doesn't think its as great as I do.

After trying Origins, Estee Lauder, Philosophy, Benefit, and numerous other high-end products, I still found I had problematic skin that had only started when I turned 30 and/or had my baby. I had mysterious bumps that never went away on my chin...sporadic, deep-skinned break-outs of very stubborn pimples that usually left a dark coloration in their wake...and skin that had once been incredibly dry seemed to be suddenly combination. I was truly at a loss and had tried (I thought) everything out there. Then, one of my students told me her mother had been to the dermatologist for very similar concerns, and he had told her to simply switch to Cetaphyl (gentle face wash & the lotion, too). Why not? I have combination, hypersensititve skin and pretty much ONLY use fragrance/dye free products. Cetaphil is such a find a very inexpensive, effective facial cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean no oily residue OR dry tightness. I read about Cetaphil in a best selling consumer-oriented beauty book that said that Cetaphil was the only facial cleanser that the author could truly recommend and had to try it. Later I found out that a co-worker who is known for being a beauty/cosmetic fanatic (and who literally spends hundreds of dollars on beauty/cosmetics) used Cetaphil as well. Haven't tried the moisterizer yet (I use Neutrogena SPF 15 for sensitive skin) but will probably try it soon as it seems Neutrogena is intent on focusing on alphahydroxy products which cause me to turn red/itchy and the nonalphahydroxy products are getting harder to find. Do yourself a favor and check Cetaphil out.

The woman who introduced me to this treatment described it as "spicy" and it is!! It does burn, and does leave your face bright red after using. However once you spray on your toner, the redness disapears in a mater of seconds. It's leaves your face smooth. I use this product in the shower so I'm distracted, and I use it every other day. I have seen differences in my face in only about a week that I have been waiting years to see.

This is not a masque to be used prior to a night out. It is a great treatment to use every couple nights, but it does leave my face and neck red for a while after I remove it (it's gone before morning). It also has a bit of a sting the longer it's left on before washing it off, I don't recommend it for sensitive skin. I have had great results and numerous compliments on how great my skin looks. Asepxia Moisturizing Soap 3.53 oz - Jabon Humectante

I've used this product and its good, but the Asepxia, yellow bar with Sulfur is terrific!! I started having severe acne at age 22 all the way to age 28. Ive been using the Asepxia yellow bar (sold on ebay) product for 6 months now and my skin looks amazing! Yes, I have scars and some redness, but no pimples!! Hi, I am a 33 years old female who had moderate acne and blackheads. I first tried this soap on January 2013 after seen the commercials on spanish TV. My fiance got it for me at a retail pharmacy in Miami. After just two weeks my blackheads started to dissappear, my pores seemed smaller, and breakouts were minimal.

It works better than any other acne products I have used in the past. Leaves the skin super clean and soft; yet NOT greasy at all. Would keep using it for a long time :)

Although I've never had terrible break outs, I almost always seem to have at least some acne. As I've grown out of my teen years, I grew tired of the gel cleansers I was using. Most of them weren't quite doing the trick: they didn't seem to actually stay on my face long enough to do any cleansing and they smelled awful.

As I progressed to cream cleansers, my acne also progresses to be more adult like (chin and cheeks) rather than teenage acne (forehead and nose). Little did I know, adult acne responds better to a cream cleanser in the first place!

After using various cleansers from the leading brands in facial care, I decided to invest in Clearasil's Daily Wash after all the Clearasil products underwent a sophisticated facelift which I felt quite fitting as as these products are not just for adolescents.

Unlike some cream cleansers, Clearasil's daily wash is not greasy or oily feeling, though it may feel a bit stiff for some. It really stays on my face until I rinse it off and my face feels deep-down-clean after using it.

It also really seems to help clear up my acne, although my skin becomes to immune to products after using them for a while, so I still switch periodically.

Better yet, it doesn't have the harsh chemical scent like many cleansers do.

Overall this is a great product which works well for adult blemishes.

I have dry skin, so was thrilled to see this did nothing to dry my skin, but dry up the problems. I never had acne has a teen, but as an adult I had the occasional bouts due to allergies. With my dry skin this seems to be a headache to control. I got this because I had been through everything Olay, Revson and several other lines, paying small fortunes and nothing helped.

I used this and saw results first time. There is a "tightening" of the pores on first use. My skin looked polished. All blemishes vanished, and my skin was so soft. Smooth like a baby's, not oiling. Second day was even better. Within three days everything was under control and boy am I sold on this.

Shiseido FT Senganseka Hypoallergenic Perfect Oil Facial Cleansing Oil - 150ml

This product completely removes every single drop of makeup on my face. I only use it when I have a full face (foundation/powder/blush/eyes). Its still a bit of a hassle to remove waterproof mascara but it does a better job than any eye makeup removed I've used. Great price as well, my bottle has lasted me over 3months (using it 3x a week). Would repurchase.

I've used this product two days now and had expectations it removes makeup. It does not. I had wanted a product like its description and am disappointed in it.

I just love these! The large size is great. The individual packs are so pretty, that I set some out for guests in each of my bathrooms, in a decorative bathroom glass. I keep thinking I'll find something cheaper that I'll like just as well, but nothing I've tried is as good as these, so I keep coming back to these. I like them even better than my Olay wipes, which are my next favorite. But the Olay wipes aren't offered in individual packets, plus I just don't like them as well as these. Sometimes, the old fashioned things--such as witch hazel with aloe--end up being the best. NOTE: I suffer from oily T-zone and dry skin on rest of the face; plus occasional bouts with Rosacea, and these seem to help balance out my skin. I also used to get frequent eye infections due to my immune system being down from underlying health problems, and since using these wipes directly on my eyelash area, I haven't had an infection since--and the wipe hasn't bothered the skin in that sensitive area.

It is the only thing that worked to make my eye area stop flaking and peeling and become well nourished and moisturized. Skin that is well moisturized looks and feels younger. This worked for me, and I will never use anything else. Even my Dermatologist prescription didn't work on my dry problem areas. I tried the travel kit because I do travel a lot and needed the smaller sizes, but I have graduated into the larger sizes for home use. It works, simple as that.

I like to rinse my face with warm water following use and then apply night moisturizer.

Ingredients include almond, jojoba, shea, oat milk, corn flower water, coriander all soothing and healthful.

Highly recommended.

Pros: skin feels very soft and moisturized after using, cleans skin well. No animal testing or harsh ingredients.

Cons: expensive and has a strange smell to it that makes me think grandmothers face cream.

I will still buy this again despite the cons as I love how my skin feels after using it.

this is a very mild cleanser and doesn't really foam. i have always had bad skin, lots of acne, and frequent breakouts. i also have large pores around my nose and get blackheads. i've been using really harsh cleansers and scrubs, thinking i had to scrub off the impurities. well, after doing some research, i decided to try a more gentle cleanser and exfoliant. i was already using caudalie's vinopure to control my oily skin under make-up, and i love that, so i thought i would try their cleanser as well. i put it directly on my clarisonic face brush with the gentle brush head. i love it! my skin has started clearing up, and it feels really smooth and fresh after.
