Borghese Virtuale Flawless Foundation SPF 15, 1.5 Ounce

I had a hard time finding this product ... Borghese isn't in as many dept. stores as it used to be, much to my dismay. This particular foundation had become my favorite creamy but not so creamy that it caused a breakout. I'm old enough to need a somewhat heavier foundation but my skin is sensitive. Great coverage (not cake-y) and light feel.

I have been wearing the Bisque version for a few months now. I wanted to wait before I reviewed. My skin is dry/dehydrated and, ah-hem, hormonally challenged. This foundation did not break me out, evaporate, or smear all day. It looks AWESOME with CG Smoothers powder (for setting/touch-up). The Bisque color looks dark in the jar but when you put it on the color melts in your skin. Really quite amazing. I will miss my old Clarins extra firming foundation. Although I loved it for perfect color match (104 Cream), texture and staying power, I needed something more moisturizing. This seems to fit the bill.

I've been using tinted moisturizer for the last couple of years because I wanted a natural look. Recently I decided I've had enough of that minimalist look and bought several foundations to test out for myself. I've used excellent makeup all my adult life, so I bought 3 and all of them did well.

What I like about the Borghese Virtuale Flawless Foundation is the color, which stays with me on my otherwise washed-out face, and the creamy, rich, feel. Nothing comes close to that. It feels and looks great! The foundation goes on easily, goes a long way, and looks natural. I think it has an Italian look to it that I love.

I plan to buy more of this. In fact, I just did, in a different shade. I'll use this one during the Summer when I'm more tan and I bought one for times when I'm a little more pale. I usually require a boring beige, and this was just a little darker than I need until I get a little darker, which happens after I work in my garden. I like having a choice of shades. The color on Borghese products is gorgeous!

Defense Soap 4oz. Bar

I initially bought this soap for my son who is a wrestler to help prevent him from catching anything nasty while wrestling. I tried out a bar first for myself just to make sure it wasn't harmful or irritating to the skin. At the time I started using it I had a small patch of psoriasis on my hand and another spot on one of my elbows that wouldn't go away no matter what I tried, including prescription remedies. After a few days of using this, the psoriasis started going away. I ordered more bars and after a few weeks the patches were gone completely! My oldest daughter had some bad acne on her face and she used a bar of defense soap and it cleared up about 85% of the acne. One of my other daughters got a small patch of psoriasis on her cheek, and we use the defense wipes and essential oils and healing salve and it cleared that up in a matter of days! My whole family now uses defense soap and will never use anything else.

The first time I had a skin infection and was on long-term anti-biotics I also got opportunistic fungal infections. Those were not getting taken care of by standard prescription-level ointments and cream, which was worrying as I was nowhere near close to the end of my anti-biotics. Searching for a way to help get rid of the fungus I ran across the Defense products and decided that since they were made to help stop the spread of some pretty nasty diseases of the skin in MMA, it was worth a try. Within two weeks the fungal infections were on the retreat after using the soap along with an antiseptic wash (which was for the bacterial infection and did nothing against the fungal infection). Once the fungal infection had been abated in two more weeks I went on to use Defense soap and gel with my other shower items. After I got over the first skin infection and had it recur, I used the Defense products and got no fungal infections on the second long course of anti-biotics.

Now I've switched over to the Defense soap and gel (which I use for my hair). After 3 years of use, these products have proven to be effective for what they are: a means of defense against catching and spreading fungal infections. Used alone they help in their prevention, as my second course of anti-biotics demonstrated. While normally allergic to standard fragrances, I have found no allergic reaction to those involved with the soap and gel. The doctor who treated me is an infectious disease specialist and has recommended this product to other patients also on anti-biotic use with good results.

I know the soap is expensive, but it really works on jock itch. I've been suffering from jock itch for years, and so far only prescribed medication would work. I found this soap at my gym, and decided to give it a try. At first, I thought it didn't work, because I used it directly on my testicles and it really didn't do anything. Then I read somewhere that when using antifungal soap, you should never apply the soap itself on the testicles, but rather use it in a lather with a scrubbing cloth then apply. It works...This is the first time I'm not going to the doctor in getting another prescription. I just buy this soap, and it's cheaper on amazon than my gym. So thank you Amazon.

This soap uses tea tree oil, as well as other stuff to fighter germs and fungus. Generally, using soaps with chemical antiseptics is not a good thing for daily use.

I admit I don't think this soap gets rid of BO as well as the Deodorant soaps do, but it does work much better on itchy toes.

What's nice is that some tea tree products have a overwhelming scent, and this doesn't.

I've been using these products for over a week and I am pleased. The conditioner is a little strange. It's very watery, but feels very oily on the hair. However, and the reason I don't give it a five, it rinses too clean. If I run my fingers over my hair after I rinse it, they skid across my head. That means my hair is getting stripped of it's natural oils, and you actually don't want that. I have very long, fine, thin hair, and this leaves it with some body. It also leaves it less tangled, easier to brush, no static or fly-aways. The smell is over-the-top wonderful! And I can smell it in my hair all day, even until I go to bed. With some alternative treatment, like a hot-oil every now and again, I think this combo is great!

I've used nectaress conditioner for years...it leaves your hair shiny and slippery smooth! It smells like heaven! I love it and the inergy shampoo is awesome too...but I CANNOT live without the nectaress conditioner.

I tried this moisturizer, along with a specific witch hazel as an astringent, after a friend saw Dr. Oz's review. It was cheap, so it wasn't like I would be losing much if I didn't like it. This block was a good choice for melt & pour. It cut easily with a large chef's knife and melted well. I added French Green Clay and peppermint oil. Suds up well and rinses clean. Will buy it again.

I'm sure this is a good product because Crafters Choice has good soap base, but I hate to see anyone getting ripped off. Folks, google it, you can get it about 50% cheaper on other web sites. My rating has nothing to do with the soap quality, it's the 50% mark up that I rated low.

This product works fine for me, although I do not use it everyday. Make sure you wash your hands after use because it can bleach fabrics.

I love proactiv. The thing is, I don't use the toner and the repairing treatment every day. I only use the cleanser every day to wash my face, and then for a couple days I do use the toner and the repairing treatment. After that, I take a couple days break, so my face will not get too dry, and then use all of it again for the next couple of days. Just don't use it every single day for an entire week, well you could, but your face might start to peel. It's best to switch it up, it's much more effective that way! OH and don't go in the sunlight for long periods of time when you are using proactiv! You can still use it over night, but in the morning before you go out in the long day in the sun, just wash it off, even if you just used the cleanser. Still wash it off. And by a long day in the sun, I mean like, spending an entire day in the sun where your face could get tan! Spending an hour or so, won't really matter, it's fine. If you spend too much time in the sun while proactiv is on, you could get more acne, but it's not too bad.

DO NOT make the mistake of using too much toner to "rub off" a zit! DO NOT DO THIS. You will get your face burned, and it might take a couple weeks for the burn to go away. If you accidentally did this, use eucerin calming creme to heal the burn, it will heal much faster.

But yeah basically proactiv is good! If you need to get rid of your acne, try it! IT's good

Ole Henriksen Black Currant Complexion Oil

This black currant oil is very delicate and does not leave a greesy result. It goes into the skin very fast, so I can use a moisturizer after a couple of minutes. It is perfect in the wintertime.

I live where it's very cold in the winter and the black currant oil helps my skin so it does not get red, irritated or dry.

All this with just a little amout of black currant oil under a moisturizer every day.

I hope you can use this, so it gives an idea about the product.

Amazon is the only place I've seen this oil. It smells wonderful and feels great on my skin. I have fairly dry skin, so even though I mist with an Ole product before putting on this oil, I still have to put a small amount of lotion on over it. The combination makes my skin look like it's glowing though!

I bought this soap to help with dark spots on my face. Within the first week of using this soap I noticed old acne marks fading. They're not completely gone, still I've noticed a improvement. I've been using it for about a month and any acne I had is controlled. I didn't have a major problem with acne. Just now and then a couple would come up and and leave dark spots. I bought this and several other products based on a Today Show piece re cosmetics that really seemed to do what they claim to. I've always had pore issues so gave this a try and it does really seem to reduce the appearance of pores on my nose, not just when wearing but after as well. The product is slightly tinted which I missed in the description and "fair" is the default tint. If your skin is darker, there is a darker tint so pay attention. BUt I am pleased with this it costs plenty for a tiny tube but it's worth it to me.

I had applied for a professional career position, and wasn't informed on either of my two interviews that I was going to have to undergo a Drug Screening. I guess I should've expected it, but it wasn't even listed in the Job Ad. When I was accepted, I had to go away on a training program for the job. I was told that I had to take a Urine Test two days before I had to actually take it! Now I only smoke Marijuana, because I'm not a big drinker. I smoke everyday, but only at night to unwind and relax, like someone who would be kicking back a few beers! I took the Ultra Clean pill for the Urine Test, and apparently I drank to much water before the test, because the results came back, as a Diluted Sample, but I didn't test positive for Marijuana. I was then told that I would have to take a Hair Follicle Test while training. When the day came, I rushed from the training center, back to my hotel, to start the Ultra Clean process.

It wasn't bad enough that it took over a half an hour to do the whole process, but I completed the Ultra Clean 2 hours before my Hair Samples were taken. I was told at the clinic, that if I didn't hear from anyone within 48-72 hours than the results came back clean. I had taken the test on a Tuesday afternoon at 3:10PM, and I was told if I didn't hear from anyone by Friday, then the test came back clean. Friday came, didn't hear anything. On the following week, Monday, didn't hear anything, so now I definitely thought I was in the clear, but I still hadn't smoked in 2 weeks, just in case. Tuesday came, didn't hear nothing until the end of the day. I was given a letter stating to call a number regarding the results of my Hair Follicle Test. When I called, they were closed, so I had to call them the following morning on Wednesday. Sure enough, my Hair Follicle Test came back positive for Marijuana!!! The worst part about it, is that I was actually passing the training, and doing very well. I was clear on my way to finally having a professional career! It says on the box, "for best results, use the day of test", I used it literally 2 hours before I took the test, and I still tested positive for Marijuana! It's pathetic how stigmatized Marijuana is, when it's far less detrimental than Alcohol or any other drug out there. There are sooooo many professional individuals out there, that are more than qualified for the positions they apply for, and they get denied or terminated, because they choose to smoke Marijuana rather than become an Alcoholic!!!

Sorry for the long review, just wanted to get my story out there! Basically Ultra Clean just prolonged the inevitable! I wouldn't waste a bloody red cent on this product, because it indefinitely does not work!!!!!

I first bought this on a whim in Germany early 2012, so I've been using it every day for roughly 11 months now. It's an excellent face wash. I've used more pricey ones from Anthony Logistics, but this actually worked a little better. The fact that I use it every day and that it has lasted until yesterday shows that very little product goes a long way, especially because I use it while showering (which normally uses up the product faster).

Simply a great facial wash that does the job as good as other big brand (and costlier) ones I have used before.

Mandom Bifesta Cleansing Lotion Moist - 300ml

This Mandom Cleansing Lotion Moist is my absolute favorite. It's so easy and quick and leaves my face very clean and moist but not dry or greasy. I have very dry ...very sensitive skin and have to be extremely cautious when it comes to any cleanser I use, and this also does not have any color or fragrance that I can see or smell. I don't have any problem with break out or sensitivity with this product whatsoever!

It's so easy; I just pump a few pumps of the cleanser on cotton pads and just rub all my makeup off. I don't use mascara, so I don't have to rub too hard on my eyes. My little trick is to use 3 cotton pads at once, so the excess liquid is absorbed into all 3 and then apply one pad at a time to my face. This way it's more economical and time efficient. When I was doing it one pad at a time, some of the liguid seemed to leak out and I don't want to waste a drop of this great cleanser. You don't have to use toner after you cleanse, it's already in the cleanser, so it's cost efficient that way too! Another hint; I buy my cotton pads at the Dollar Store. I really think you will love how easy and quick it is to use and how soft and smooth your skin will feel with this cleanser!
