Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Dandruff Shampoo, 1.7 oz

I have dandruff off and on. It's hard to predict, but once it sets in, it can be there for months. Naturally, I try a few anti-dandruff products. Recently, I was buying lot of very small-portion containers of grooming products, mainly to serve as traveling aids. I spotted a 1.7-ounce bottle of Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Dandruff Shampoo. Of course, I picked it up in an instant as it might serve two purposes at once. Actually, I used to use Head & Shoulders a couple decades ago and never found it to be particularly effective, but they may have changed it since that time. Well, I tried it this morning and it was a fairly good shampoo, so I can definitely use the small container for the traveling purpose. How does it do with the dandruff? Well, I'll probably need a few weeks to a month more to find out, but based on my trials to date, it seems to be helpful

This is a great mud soap. It goes on easily, and cleans purely. I've only used it on my face, and always loved how my skin felt after using it. It never dried out my skin, and there was always a soft feel after washing. If you want a great purifying mud soap, I've found this one to be excellent, and long lasting too!

This soap smells nice but hasn't created a noticeable difference in my skin except drying it out a little more than usual. This is not an oily skin cure so if thats what you are looking for go see a dermatologist because this is just plain old soap if you ask me. It is only good because it doesn't OVERLY dry my skin like regular soaps do and it doesn't irritate my skin either, so thats a plus. I just don't think I'd go out of my way to order this again because it didn't work any miracle for me that I can't go to the store and buy(oatmeal soap or something along those lines).

DDF Brightening Cleanser

I wanted something to help even out my skin that wouldn't leave it in worse shape than before I started with it. I did a LOT of research and for the most part heard nothing but good about this. Of course if you have sensitive skin, some things will not work for you as they did for others.

I have no clue what the reviewer claiming it has hydroquinone in it was talking about. The ingredients say no such thing. She should have done her own research instead of believing what someone else (with ulterior motives)told her. It DOES have Alpha Hydroxy in it, but that is right on the bottle itself (as well as a warning to protect your skin while using it and after).

I've been using it for about a week and a half now (twice a day) and the first noticeable thing was how much smoother my skin is. I have noticed a brightening as well, which is great considering the whole purpose of the product, LOL. I want to get rid of the tan I have after more than 11 years in Southern California. I am originally from the East Coast and am not used to year round sun exposure and it's wrecked havoc on my skin. I have used much harsher items on my skin and although they worked quickly, they were not something I could use permanently and feel comfortable. I am glad I came across this.

The one thing I will remind you of is to use a great moisturizer after. I use Cetaphil (just half a pump) and it's perfect.

I too received this as a sample in my birch box and so glad I did. First off, my skin was a mess prior to using this (and a new lotion, more on that later). I have combination skin with minor rosacea, dry patches, mild acne, dark spots, and fine lines. I was hesitant at first, thought this cleanser would dry my skin out worse than it already was but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway and I'm so glad I did.

The first thing I noticed was the smell which is a black licorice, I hate black licorice. Otherwise it's a nice cleanser, doesn't burn, foams lightly and rinses clean. Over the past 3 weeks (using 1x a day) my acne has improved and my skin does look brighter, I've also noticed my pores are a lot smaller which is a huge bonus. My dark spots have gotten lighter too. After about the first week and a half I still had my dry patches and had to use 2 moisturizers in the morning and another at night, that was until I began using Cerave PM (recommendation from a friend) and holy smokes it's a winning combination! I use it 2x a day (am/pm) and no more dry patches and my skin feels soft and fresh. I know this review is for the brightening cleanser but this moisturizer is amazing. If you have skin like mine and begin using this cleanser I recommend the moisturizer too, like I said it's a winning combination for sure!!

I gave it four stars due to the smell and the drying factor however if I could have given it 4.5 I would!

I received this product in my Birchbox a while ago. This cleanser is said to be a brightener. I did notice that it helped clear up my dull complexion. If you don't like strong smelling facial washes,then this is not for you. The smell of licorice is kind of intense. This product is also very drying. I found that I couldn't use it everyday,and when I did I needed a good thick moisturizer or something like jojoba oil or argon oil (used at night) to help with the dryness. The second wash is when I finally liked the product a little more and really saw the difference in my skin.

When I first met my b/f I stayed at his place a lot and he had some of this that he had gotten as a gift with purchase and his skin was really oily and he said that it worked great. I LOVED it so much and the smell was awesome. Eventually Dillards gave away another kind of facial cleanser with purchase and we drifted away from this kind.

Three years later out of curiosity I looked this cleanser up on Amazon and I found it and was so excited to find it that I bought it. When it got here and I used it, it was nothing like I remembered. It doesn't soap up and its almost like I am putting lotion on my face IN the shower. Because I dont want to waste it, what I do is put some bar soap on my hands and then some of this cleanser on top of it and rub it altogether so I can get it to soap up enough to make a soapy cleaning instead of a lotion application.

The only constant is that awesome smell. :)

I bought this in China, thinking it would only be available there. I am a teen who uses this for acne purposes, and it works amazingly. This can also be used to mousturize and heal infections. It's super versatile, and I would buy again (and this time from amazon, much cheaper!) However, I would not use this in the summer or when your face is super greasy--this cream can sometimes be greasy, so you need to be careful WHEN you use it. the ad shows a big bottle and all you get is a tiny one. Hate the false advertising it should be illegal. The product itself was worse! Has ingredients in it that are known to cause problems for scalp...sodium laureth sulfate (largest ingredient besides water)...and my scalp itched worse and got worse since I switched to this from Demarest. Worst money Ive ever spent and first time Ive ever felt the need to review or complain in print! Dont buy this!

I suffer from very oily hair/ithcy dry scalp and this product is great! Within 2 days of using it I notice the biggest difference. My hair and scalp feel and look healthy and even after 24 hrs of washing my oil levels are down by 75%. (Crazy I know...) I rotate between using this shampoo and the prescription shampoo my doctor recommended. My scalp feels great when I use this shampoo no itchy sore spots afterwards. However, I'm not that thrilled with the smell...slightly like doggie shampoo. This scent doesn't seem to linger in the hair though.

First, I was taken aback when I opened the package and found this tiny, tiny jar...smaller than the size of a hockey puck! But, you don't need much, so that may be why the package is small. I will say that it smells really great. As for how effective it is, this I'm not completely sold on: This mask is like any other drugstore mask I've used, and essentially tightens your face, leaving behind small chunks of cherry. Overall, it's overpriced and I likely won't buy it again.

I love proactiv. The thing is, I don't use the toner and the repairing treatment every day. I only use the cleanser every day to wash my face, and then for a couple days I do use the toner and the repairing treatment. After that, I take a couple days break, so my face will not get too dry, and then use all of it again for the next couple of days. Just don't use it every single day for an entire week, well you could, but your face might start to peel. It's best to switch it up, it's much more effective that way! OH and don't go in the sunlight for long periods of time when you are using proactiv! You can still use it over night, but in the morning before you go out in the long day in the sun, just wash it off, even if you just used the cleanser. Still wash it off. And by a long day in the sun, I mean like, spending an entire day in the sun where your face could get tan! Spending an hour or so, won't really matter, it's fine. If you spend too much time in the sun while proactiv is on, you could get more acne, but it's not too bad.

DO NOT make the mistake of using too much toner to "rub off" a zit! DO NOT DO THIS. You will get your face burned, and it might take a couple weeks for the burn to go away. If you accidentally did this, use eucerin calming creme to heal the burn, it will heal much faster.

But yeah basically proactiv is good! If you need to get rid of your acne, try it! IT's good

I've used a nylon scrubbie for years. The Salux bath towel is much better! I received it as a gift from someone who had one and knew how wonderful it was. It has a fairly rough texture which is a fantastic exfoliator. I use it with a bath gel (never soap, it's too drying) and my skin has never been softer. It's extra long length makes it perfect for getting your entire back. It drys very quickly Can't live without it!

When I bought this there was nothing to indicate that it was the Chinese knockoff, Leyjie. When it came I really liked it, but it did look cheaply made and a little rough to use. When I actually got the real Salux, I realized just how much of a difference there was between the two. The Leyjie is thinner, lighter with cheaply sewn seams. It also more abrasive and produces less lather than the original. If you aren't sure which one you have look on the pack to see where it's made. Salux is made in Japan, Leyjie is made in China and the Salux washcloth has the logo sewn into the seam as well. The bottom line is that the Leyjie is too expensive for what you're given.

I've been using these clothes for 3 yrs now, ever since I found them by accident on Amazon. They are the best thing about my shower. It only requires minimum shower gel to get a great long-lasting lather, which means I've actually noticed I buy less shower gel over the months! The length is great for cleaning your back and any other hard to reach places. But most importantly after every shower my skin feels SO SMOOTH AND SOFT! I'd been using Perricone's Skin Clear treatment until they discontinued it last spring and hadn't found anything equivalent, until now. This stuff is awesome. Pricey, but so good for my skin and has not only cleared it up, but brightened it up and made it a lot softer. I'm a convert and glad that I found this gem. I have 38 year old combination skin with hormonal breakouts and this stuff has cured that. Worked quickly. Noticed a difference within days.

Make no mistake about it, my son has been dealing with acne for three years and it's a difficult run. However, what I have noticed is, there is a difference between brand name products that have the same ingredients. I'm not sure what it is, but he will have a product work very well for a while and then it stops working. At that point, if we change products, he gets better results. I did notice that Medica is one of the better brands that is very good at doing what it is supposed to do. He was using Proactive before with very good results. It had stopped working well for six months, so my sister-in-law, who is a cosmetic laser tech, recommended this namebrand product. It is worth the money that you'll spend for it. But keep in mind that it depends on what kind of acne you have. If you are a teenage boy and you have hormones that are causing the problem with acne, it's not going to be a miracle cure. It just helps control the oil that is a product of the rampant hormones. For severe acne, it's best to use this in an arsenal of weapons: including a healthy diet (low on dairy/caffeine/sugar), plenty of rest, less stress, more exercise, and increased water consumption.

I'm reviewing the Curls Curlicious Curls Cleansing Cream shampoo.

This is definitely a very thick and creamy moisturizing shampoo. As suggested by Curls and other users of the shampoo, about once a month, use their clarifying shampoo before this. If you're used to the squeaky clean feel of some other shampoos, then this will take some getting used to. However, I find that my hair is more manageable after just using the shampoo and before deep conditioning. I do love this product and will continue to use it. It also smells yummy without being overpowering. I am using this shampoo along with the Curls Deep Conditioner, the Curls Souffle, and the Curls Elixir and I am loving them so far. I am currently transitioning from relaxed hair and am just 7 weeks from my last relaxer so I find the products very moisturizing and softening.

Novartis Eye Scrubs are the best way to remove eye makeup available. There is a similar product but my 20 y/o daughter and I have found the Ocusoft brand stings our eyes and does not remove makeup as well. The Eye Scrub removes all waterproof eye makeup every time and is not oily. (If you wear contacts oily is bad.) The first time we tried them we both loved the product but we had hard time justifying the cost. Eye Scrub was by FAR the winner. Even on heavy makeup days, I can usually get rid of all traces with one pad. Most importantly, it doesn't irritate the sensitive skin around my eyes, nor does it sting my eyes when some inevitably gets in there.

Pro's:

* convenient! individually packaged pads, no need to juggle bottles with bulky cotton pads

* oil-free! your eyes are virtually clear of residue when you're done.

* effective! even waterproof eyeliner and heavy mascara wipe off clean and clear

* travel friendly! just throw a couple of these in your purse or overnight bag.

* painless! both to skin and eyeballs

Con's:

* lots of packaging. Might be unavoidable to keep them sterile, but it would be nice if there was an option for packaging more similar to Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, 25 Count. I'd still love the individually sealed ones for on the go, but for everyday use, it seems a bit excessive.

The bottom line:

Can't live without 'em.

product smells really nice. Very refreshing and does't dry the skin up as much as other cleansing foams i used in the past. It wouldn't remove make-up though. I only use it when i already clean my face with make-up remover. Feels extra clean and fresh after all

I got this cleanser for my husband who is used to some certain brands and it is a challenge to get him to try something new. I am introducing him to organic, no animal testing products, so he finally agreed to give one of my favorite brands a shot! I got him Natura Siberica face cleanser and... he loves it! I tried it myself and I like it too. It creates a very light, weightless foam that cleans skin very well. It has a nice tint of smell to it. I will order this product for myself in the future.
