Clarisonic Pro 3-Power Skin Care System, Pink

This is my everyday cleanser helper. I love the fact that this has the higher speed vs the non-professional and, it can go for 2 minutes for a longer cleaning vs only 1 minute on the non-professional. Actually, I do a 4 minute cleansing at night; the 2 minute cycle to remove make-up and impurities (I use philosophy foaming cleanser), than another 2 minutes for my regular cleanser (I use a foaming acne product) for my congested oily skin. Even though my skin is sensitive, it can handle this with the delicate brush head. Also, you don't need a lot of pressure while cleaning, just let the sonic action let your cleanser deep clean. This is the same company that puts out the sonicare toothbrush that I had been using for years, so I was swayed to try this item and haven't regreted it, even with the hefty price tag, it is so worth it since you will not need to get a professional facial at all, if only occasionally if you choose. I am a cosmetologist in california and I have seen a lot of beauty items come and go, and this is a keeper. The service from the buyer was quick and efficient. Also, the free brush item code was usable with this product, unlike some of the brushes out there that the code was already used when the buyer called in for their free brush. If you can afford it, make this an investment purchase in your skincare regiem and you will find you need less other skincare potions to help your skin get healthy.

The Clarisonic Skin Care Brush is an awesome tool to pamper your skin. The brush oscilates at a sonic frequency of about 300 movements per second. You wet the Clarisonic brush head, apply cleanser to your skin or the brush head and gently press the brush head to your skin. Moving the brush in circular motions Clarisonic recommends you spend 20 seconds on your forehead, 20 on your nose/chin and 10 on each cheek. A built in timer lets you know when it is time to move on to the next section. And you can set the timer for 1-2 minutes.

The results are great! The clarisonic stimulates the skin, cleans and clarifys. It's great for exfoliation without using gritty scrubs that can damage the skin.

The clarisonic comes with a brush head and it is recommended that you change brush heads every 4-6 months because of bacterial build up and the bristles can wear down. After each use you should also wash the brush head with a antibacterial soap.

The biggest drawback to the Clarisonic is the price. At $195 retail its not cheap. However, if you consider a facial at a salon can run $50 or more, the Clarisonic is a bargain.

There are a number of models on the market today. The newer models come in the Standard and Pro Versions. The Clarisonic company likes to think of the ProVersion like it is a "prescription" and this is the model sold by skin care professionals, doctors offices and spas. This version has 3 timer and speed settings and two buttons to use to toggle back and forth between settings. The Standard version has only one button to use to access settings and timer and is the version commonly seen at major retailers.

Though most Clarisonic's are white, the clarisonic also comes in a pretty limited edition pastel pink version with a portion of the sales ($10)going to breast cancer research and a grey version. Most Clarisonics come packaged with several samples of Clarisonic cleansers. Use with care as I have read it breaks some people out. I use Cetaphil cleanser with my Clarisonic and it's perfect for me.

This Clarisonic has totally changed my skin! Thank God....something finally had to. The device stimulates the pores, removes make-up beautifully, and evens out skin tone quite well. I don't need as much foundation now, when I put my make-up on.

One bit of advice, if you use a facewash that truly lathers up, you only need a small drop of it on your clarisonic. If you put a lot of a lathering wash on, the foam will end up in your eyes less than half-way through the cleaning cycle... every time!

The samples of the Clarisonic wash are great. There are 3 varieties for different skin types. I might just invest in the wash from Clarisonic that is suited for me. The free replacement head for the unit is such a bonus! A TRULY GREAT BUY....HOW DID I EVER DO WITHOUT IT!?

Super clean feel after using it! I read on another review about not getting an extra head attachment(a $25 value) because the "registration code had already been used" and it's true! I think they use ONE code and thats it. Pretty pointless to advertise it if it's not happening. I didn't bother to call. But the product itself is great and the speed is powerful. I was skeptical at first but I really do like this product. It has made my skin smooth and I have noticed my pores have gotten smaller!!! I do have acne and it has helped to reduce some of the zits, but I still get the occasional few. I would have given it five stars, but it does cost quite a bit and then you have to buy the cleanser and new brush heads, etc. so it all starts to really add up. This is the best replacement for 10-0-6. It does a good job of cleansing the skin without being too drying. I am 52yo. I have used this product for 4 years. I wear mineral makeup every day, I wash my face with a mild soap on a wash cloth,twice, then rinse well, then apply "SO Totally Clean" to a cotton pad/ball and gently wipe over my face to remove any residue. Avoid eyes and don't scrub hard. I am a cosmetologist and have recommended this to many others after Bonne Bell sold the original 10-0-6. I use to use this facial cleanser when I was a teenager and just fell in love with it. My skin was so clear, soft, smooth, and blemish free. I did not have trouble with acne and did not want to and this cleaner prevented all of that and I am 54 years of age and it still works like it did back in the day.

I gave it this rating because its just that good and an outstanding product.

I would reccommend this product to a friend.

The only thing is I wish I could get more of it.

So I have recently developed even drier skin than I had in high school and heard some older women raving about this. So I gave it a try and I'm in love!!! I was worried I was going to get some generic or old thing of face cream because of the different/weird product picture that is shown but the one I received looks exactly like the other pictures for this product!!! My routine is to wash my face at night with the japanese clay bar soap Deitanseki Soap (Clay and Charcoal Facial Cleansing Bar) by lathering it in a washcloth and moving it in a circular motion then rinsing. I then moisturize with this amazing cream! I don't remove it with a tissue but leave it on over night and it absorbs into the dry patches of my face and it looks amazing! At first the cream seems oddkind of greasy and well just different. But I have sinced learned over the past three months to only apply about a nickle size amount over my entire face at night. I then only follow up with small applications in the morning after I shower and pat my face dry on the really dry areas of my face. After using this for months, I am only about 1/4 or 1/5 of the way through the jar which is awesome! I haven't used this as a remedy for anything else but this is awesome as a moisturizer for dry elbows and knees too.

I have been using this for years and have found that it makes removing make-up so much easier, especially mascaras.

I love this stuff ! I have very dry skin, and usually after I apply my moisture cream and make up, it doesn't take long, before my skin feels all dry, again.... I saw this at walmart.com actually and thought I would give it a try. I applied it all over my face and neck, let it soak in a few minutes and then washed it off, with a damp cloth. I also use it at night, now, just massaging some in and leaving it on, all night. it gets soaked into your dry skin completely over night. My face looks so radiant, I'm amazed, I had some wrinkles start on my forehead and even those are much smoother looking, just from this alone. I used it in the tub, on my face and then washed it off, when I got out of the bath my whole body was so soft, I didn't need to lotion up, from what cream got into the bath water.

It is a bit on the greasy side, so if you have oily skin, this is probably not the best thing. I have been using it, now, for a week and had no problems with break outs or anything, just super soft, glowing skin.

Takes off waterproof mascara, too!. I love this stuff, hope they won't stop making it. FYI I got a 2 pack at walmart for 6 bucks, so cheaper than this.

I stopped by a corner market a few days ago to see if they had the Aloe Vera cream that I liked to use at night and under my makeup. I saw the Jergens cream and read it, and said "hmmm", I do need a makeup cleansing cream and I love Jergens products so I picked it up. I almost left the market and noticed the my Aloe Vera cream was right next to it. Lucky! I tried it and low and behold, it is absolutely fabulous! I live in a very high dry climate and because I'm from the east coast, I'm not used to trying out products to replenish moisture instead of products that I normally use to eliminate excessive moisture because of high humidity cities. I love it! I ask that Jergens NOT take this off the market. It seems like everytime I find a product like soap or a body spray mist that is popular and works, it somehow vanishes from the market. I know that this product is a definite winner! I love it and it definitely moisturizes your face. I do suggest that if you use it to remove makeup to also use a cotton swab and go over any excess moisture with a hydrating toner (i.e., L'Oreal hyrating toner, etc.) afterwards for the best results. Rinse your face with warm water and then use your favorite night time firming cream or vitamin e cream before you go to bed. Your skin will be radiant!

I found this face wash about 15 years ago, and have used it since. As soon as I get in the shower, I lather my face with it and then rinse. After my shower, I use Original Udder Balm ( formerlly Dionne brand) as a moisturizer on my face. That's my quick and easy skin care routine, and it works for me. I used to always have at least one zit, but that stopped since I began using this product. I like that it's not too harsh on my sensitive skin, and I like it enough that I'd still buy it if it was $100 a bottle! Also, a little dab will do, so the bottle usually lasts me several months.

La Prairie Purifying Cream Cleanser

i am very happy with this cleanser and have used it for many, many years. it is a staple for me.

For me, this is the best cleansing cream on the market. I've used it for years.

I've tried others but always come back to this cleanser.

It leaves the face soft without stripping.

I use a warm wet wash cloth after I've massaged it on the face and neck.

The product lasts a long time if used properly.

Highly recommended even though expensive.

I'm concerned about quality with them as well as authenticy of their La Prairie products or possibly the products are old. Consumers need to be protected and when a product causes an allergic reaction on an individual, it should be returned without a problem.

Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.77 Ounce

This is similar to the Neutrogena 2% salicylic acid face wash I've been using for quite some time. But, after using both, I prefer the Biore.

Both have the same concentration of salicylic acid (2%) which is the active acne fighting ingredient. Both are very thick just a small amount is needed to get a good lather. And both require caution against overuse since the salicylic acid can be rough on your skin if you use it too often. I find that once a day with the occasional skipped day works for me.

Where the Biore pulls ahead is in the scent and how it makes my face feel after using it. The Neutrogena does not smell bad it basically smells like soap. The Biore has a fresher scent that is more botanical in nature, and my face feels cool after using it. I expect the latter is due to the inclusion of menthol in the Biore.

I can't fault either in terms of results and performance, but the Biore is more enjoyable to use. Highly recommend.

I've used this cleanser for a month now and here are the results:

1. My skin does feel cleaner and looks better. I did break out a couple of times due to hormonal changes; however, it was not as much as usual.

2. Do not use this product more than once a day it will DRY your skin out! It is not a gentle cleanser. The right balance for me was using it before going to bed and then applying a moisturizer after.

3. You are not supposed to use other topical acne medications with this, per the instructions on the back, or your skin will become irritated. It contains 2% salycic acid.

While I'm not displeased with the results, I don't know if I will use this in the long term. It seems harsher than what I should be applying to my skin.

Product has the requisite acne-fighting ingredient, and the "iciness" is subtle enough to be pleasant...it probably helps open the pores a bit to let in the active ingredient salicylic acid. The pump is convenient, and the container size is ideal (I find most pump soaps too skimpy; at nearly 7 ounces, this bottle is just right).

BUT.

The texture--the VISCOUSITY--however, is pretty obnoxious. It is difficult to wash off, requiring a great deal of rinsing before one feels one has gotten it all OFF. It's roughly like pancake syrup.

Which is perhaps what some people really like, and would describe the feeling as "rich."

For my part, I've given up using it as a soap, but find it acceptable...as a shaving gel.

This product works fine for me, although I do not use it everyday. Make sure you wash your hands after use because it can bleach fabrics.

I love proactiv. The thing is, I don't use the toner and the repairing treatment every day. I only use the cleanser every day to wash my face, and then for a couple days I do use the toner and the repairing treatment. After that, I take a couple days break, so my face will not get too dry, and then use all of it again for the next couple of days. Just don't use it every single day for an entire week, well you could, but your face might start to peel. It's best to switch it up, it's much more effective that way! OH and don't go in the sunlight for long periods of time when you are using proactiv! You can still use it over night, but in the morning before you go out in the long day in the sun, just wash it off, even if you just used the cleanser. Still wash it off. And by a long day in the sun, I mean like, spending an entire day in the sun where your face could get tan! Spending an hour or so, won't really matter, it's fine. If you spend too much time in the sun while proactiv is on, you could get more acne, but it's not too bad.

DO NOT make the mistake of using too much toner to "rub off" a zit! DO NOT DO THIS. You will get your face burned, and it might take a couple weeks for the burn to go away. If you accidentally did this, use eucerin calming creme to heal the burn, it will heal much faster.

But yeah basically proactiv is good! If you need to get rid of your acne, try it! IT's good

I have very dry skin and it is thin and fragile so it cracks easily. I searched for a soap that would moisturize without leaving a slimy film feeling on my skin and help it not crack so much. My cracked skin healed faster and I did not have to pile on the hand lotions as much anymore. I have used it now for well over 10 years and I just can't say enough good about it. This soap should be recomended to diabetics so they would know about it. The clean fregrance is very nice as well. I love it and have told many of my friends with similar problems to try it and they have agreed that it is fantastic the way it helps moisturize skin so well. I decide to try this cause it was blue :-) and because most other Neutrogena products I have used have been both superb and unique. I use the original Rainbath often, and it is excellent. A unique feeling and scent of "fresh clean" in a bottle and it seems like it does good things for my skin. I had hoped the blue version would add the ocean or the sky perhaps to this experience, but I was let down. In my opinion there's nothing more (nor anything less) then any other brand of shower/body wash including any old generic "S-mart" version of blue soap stuff in a bottle (and I'm sure Ash would agree with me). By all means,try it for yourself, but you really should try the orignal first so you have a bench mark. This one is a disappointment.

I had low expectations for this soap since combining a shower/shave wash is a tall order but I wanted to give it a try just in case it could deliver. I was hoping for a creamy yet soapy lather that would cling to skin to make the shaving part better. My first problem was the consistency, which was a thick gel. The lather was minimal and I found I had to use quite a bit of soap. As far as shaving, it was completely useless, being just barely better than water alone. The second issue is the smell. I believe Neutrogena was going for a marine scent, but missed terribly as it ended up smelling very synthetic--not fresh or clean in any way. Even for a shower gel alone, this would not be a product I would consider buying again. I use about 9 pumps per shower which is making going through a bottle very quick, but considering my review, I guess that's a good thing.

In the beginning, I started using this other product that had a gel cleanser (it was a 3-step system) that comes along with it, and my face broke out with a plague of bumps (mostly white heads). And so, my sister went out and bought this product. And since I started using it (it has been a month!), my face has really slacked up on breakouts. Don't get me wrong, I still have breakouts, but it's merely 3-4 bumps at a time. This product is helping keep them at bay. Also, it moisturizes my skin, and makes it feel soft and smooth. I also like the creamy texture and soft smell it has. As far as exfoliation goes, I don't think it does as much, but I pretty sure it is helping over time. One thing I hope does in the long run, is help even out my skin tone. I have a plentiful amount of acne scars and I want to rid my face of them.:( Overall, really great cleanser, love the fact that it has 2% salicylic acid, and the cleanliness I experience afterwards. I have always had dry, sensitive skin. But after having no acne issues through out my teenage years, I began breaking out in my mid-20's on my chin only. And it wasn't small pimples but very deep problematic acne that kept returning. I've heard that this can be a hormonal thing? Anyway, I went to a dermatologist who just gave me the strong acne meds to basically burn the bacteria out, but that led to scarring and extreme dryness. I tried at least 20 different products, and nothing really worked they either dried out the skin too much and led to more acne or didn't really do anything. Well, this clear complexion cream cleanser is the first product that I've had which has really seemed to work for me. I like the fact that it exfoliates, is very gentle, does not over dry, and also helps the acne heal. My chin had at least 2-3 red irritated acne areas on it constantly for the past several years, and right now I only have one small pimple that isn't even noticeable because it isn't red. I recommend this product for anyone who has dry, sensitive skin but also acne. I know that all skin is different though, so it may not work well for you, but I can honestly say it works great for me.

This is one of the best cleanser I have ever used. After using this, my face feels very refreshed, and I've been noticing that I have less breakouts. I use this with the Neutrogena Rapid Clear mousturizer, and the results are great. However, I think this product has different reactions on other people's skin. My mom, who has normal skin, finds the microbeads in this to be a bit harsh..but I like it (I have combination skin). This product is great for my skin, and I will continue to use it. It also works very well with Aveeno Baby Lotion (the Baby version of their lotion seems to be better for me-gentler.)

Believe it or not there is a difference between different Minoxidil applications like this and generic and rogaine. Usually I liked the Rogaine foam, but now this one is the best, you can actually feel it working. I use this once a day and Rogaine once a day (you are suppose to apply Minoxidil twice a day) to curb the cost since both are pricey (this one is way more though). I started using this in the morning as a substitute for gel (90% at least) And just apply Gel to the sides of my hair since this acts like it. You will feel a cool tingly feeling. Then at night I just apply the generic or actually Rogaine foam and have gotten great results! Will keep using!!

I can tell from the dizzyness that the minoxidil is working, but this cream makes my hair clumpy and sticky. I'm going back to a spray.

I have been using this product for a very brief time period, but I will tell you why I already find it superior to other minoxidil-based products. The formulation has no unpleasant odor/ "fragrance", and is easy to apply without running all over areas that you don't want to cover. The best feature is the base ingredient mixture. The product works well to thicken the existing hair and acts like a styling wax. The roots are lifted giving the impression of fuller, thicker hair. I am thinning mildly, so this is a fantastic feature. I also experienced scalp irritation and itching with Rogaine foam and liquid, which I have not experienced any such side effects with this product. It remains to be seen how well the hair fallout is controlled and if there is any regrowth, but I don't dislike applying and using the product. Not oily or sticky, and no one will know you are using it. Plus, easy travel size to go in your TSA approved carry-on luggage!

Incredible stuff!!!! Initially I thought it was going to be a rip off but once I started to use it, within 4 weeks (yes, every day--a real pain but what can you do), my hair got thicker and I started to see new growth. I thought I was "wishing" but no, my girlfriend thought I had some special hair weave or product to increase the volume of hair. I love LiquidSand because I can use it in the shower, and it is a mild but still very effective exfoliating scrub. It really freshens my face and gets the dead skin cells off without being too abrasive.

Yes its $20 but I spend more on miller lite in 1 happy hour and this bottle lasts a few months. It doesn't have any harsh chemicals so its great for my sensitive skin. I've used Liquid Sand for two years and it should be a staple for any well groomed man who wants to keep up his sartorial splendor. The paper wrapping, size and clean refreshing lemon fragrance were promising. My wife seemed genuinely surprised that I would order a French extra-gentle soap for her and appreciated the thought that I put into this unusual gift.

My wife convinced me to try the soap assuring me that it would not make me smell effeminate. She was right! It did not leave a fragrance, but made my skin feel great.

This is the only soap the sensitive skin in this household will allow on its collective skin. And it's been so for several years. The fragrance is pleasant, but is really only for the shower or bath, as it doesn't last past towelling. It's not drying like other 'pure soaps', although I wouldn't try carrying on with the day without some sort of body lotion.
