After my derm recommended this eye cream I tried it. Have used it for the past 8 yrs. Every once in a while the claims of another product catch my eye and I try it, but I always come back to this eye cream. The only other eye cream I really like is the obagi one but it's almost 2x more expensive. The MD Forte great product at a really reasonable price!!

I have tried many, many, many face washes over the years. I find this one to be very gentle on my skin, leaving it super clean and very soft. Because it is easy on my skin, it doesn't cause breakouts or irritate my skin in any way. I am fair skinned and have have both oily/dry skin. It works beautifully and is worth the money (to me anyway). My skin has never looked better -I'm 43 years old and have been using this for 10 years now. I tried changing to a less expensive product from Alba, but my skin revolted (even though I'm sure it was a good product). It's just not worth messing with something that works so well.

But all of the niceties aside...does it work? Well, during one of the hottest, most humid summers on record, this Illinois girl says absolutely it does! I love the smell of this cleanser. The combination of Bergamot, Lavender and Mint create a wonderfully fresh smelling scent, which to me is sort of an earthy mintiness.

I only need to use a small dime-size amount of this cleanser. It has the consistency of a thick lotion and develops into a nice frothy lather. While I could splash it off with water, I find that it's better to use a wash cloth to thoroughly rinse it off.

The results are really amazing. My oily T-zone feels clean but my cheeks (typically dry) don't feel tight or dry. Makeup is thoroughly washed off and the cleanser doesn't irritate my eyes I had been having some issues with minor breakouts but since using this cleanser for the past few weeks, my skin has seen noticeable improvement.

While this cleanser doesn't dry out the skin, I didn't find it to add moisture either. But with this type of cleanser I didn't have expectations that it would. In the past I have used a lot of cream cleansers (non-foaming) which were great for the dry skin, but didn't help much with the oily areas. Checks and Balances is the happy medium nice foaming action while managing to maintain skin's natural moisture level.

After one use of this product, I saw an immediate improvement on my very dry face. You name the brand, I've used its face wash. Origins Checks and Balances does so much more than it says! I have combination skin, leaning more towards oily, and this clears my skin without drying it out. So when it said "shine control" I kind of assumed it meant that there would be less shine. Well I can honestly say that after I wash my face with this, my face gets way more shiny than it does when I wash it with anything else I have ever owned. Maybe "shine control" means it gives you control to have MORE shine?

It has a nice smell and everything, but it makes my face just so darn shiny, it's kind of ridiculous. It also makes me break out, but I guess that's just my skin, it may be better for yours.

I try to buy natural products. I've been on a decades long quest to find a shampoo that doesn't irritate my scalp. At one point I stopped using products all together and used just baking soda and vinegar, and that worked really well except for leaving my hair smelling of dog every time it got wet.

So I found a few products that work, I thought Sulfates were the culprit but that was NOT the case, so far the most successful product I have used has SLS as the first ingredient. If you have a picky scalp, I urge you to limit the additives, not necessarily the sulfates!

So I tried this product. It was ok.

The good: Cleans the hair and leaves it SUPER soft.

The bad: Really runny, hard to apply because of it. The smell reminds me of a dog shampoo I once bought. It isn't an unpleasant smell, but now when I use this shampoo my boyfriend calls me 'doggy head'.

This shampoo doesn't leave my scalp full of welts and scabs like store brands do, but it does dry out my scalp enough to leave it slightly itchy and sensitive. I'm not sure I'll be able to get through the whole bottle, I seem to be able to do alright with it if I alternate it with my super cool lush solid shampoo of success.

I am natural girl my hair type for those who favor in dept reviews. I have 3c (in the front )/4a/b (everywhere else) hair.With my hair type moisture is a MUST! I needed a shampoo to add to my new regime I am still fairly new at being a natural. Id say Im at the novice lvl. Okay so I purchased this back in late January and I pleased to say that I still have more than half a bottle left. I shampoo weekly so that has to say something. It does what it says. It leaves my hair moisturized,soft and smelling good! The first time I used it though I didnt see this result. But that was on me. See I recently took out my hair out from protective styling ( It was in braids for 2 months so just think about how thirsty my hair must have been!!). Needless to say I was expecting to see results the first time due to this. BUT from the second time and then on OH my!!!! I just could not stop looking at my hair. It was so full of life and actually looked moisturized. I appreciate that it doesn't have chemicals in it, but it really doesn't smell good at all and the advertised moisturizing effects were nonexistent. This is a very good toner and I am a repeat buyer of the product. I have found it to be more effective for helping clearing up occasional acne than over-the-counter salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide treatments. I have tried Nivea Visage's toner and it didn't seem to be as effective as this one although the Nivea product is gentler. This product does make my eyes tear if I use it too close to my eye area.

I have skin that is ridiculously finicky. Recently, I have become hyper-sensitive to all kinds of petroleum derived ingredients. This leaves my choices in skin care and makeup extremely limited. This also works great when I want to immediately refresh my face after a work out. An additional plus is that it also acts as a toner + moisturizer. At first I was skeptical b/c I figured it was just part of their marketing pitch on the stuff but my skin responded well to it.

I have a teen daughter who has acne since she hit puberty.

She used Procactive skin products and it did not work at all. I took her to two dermathologists; they prescribed oral and topic antiobotics and expensive prescription creams; it made her acne worse. I also took her to an esthetician who only wanted me to buy her expensice skin products. She also tried over the counter stuff; i bought every brand and nothing. This has been the only product that has worked for her. I discovered it by accident and decided to give it a try.

Its very simple to use, and it works!

Since I've received it, I've drastically changed my facial routine, so I can't be certain what's worked the best, but I can tell you that I've NEVER seen my face as clear as it is now. I've never had REALLY troubled skin, and I still get the occasional blemish even now, but my face is definitely smoother. I use this sponge in the morning, with just water, and then in the evening I remove my makeup and use Neutrogena Deep Clean Long-Last Shine Control, Cleanser/mask, 6 Ounce (Pack of 2). Twice a week I also use Boscia Luminizing Black Mask 2.8 oz. Since I started using all of them around the same time, I don't know what's helping the best, but all three have definitely smoothed out my complexion and I'm very happy!

I started out using Dermal Repair about 5 years ago (late 20s) and haven't gone back. I have dry skin and like a thicker cream. I love what it does for the area under my eyes great at smoothing wrinkles. I've tried other products, but none keep the moisture in my skin for so long. Other reviewers don't like the smell, but I think it's pleasant.

I used to buy the regular size container for about 3 times the price of the samples; then I went back to grad school. Without a steady income I bought the samples to save money. Not as convenient, but you get the same amount of product as the full size. I even cut them open toward the end to make sure I get every drop. I know; I'm cheap.

I bought this product after a recommendation after getting a facial. I decided this was the perfect way to try it without spending a great deal of money and then discovering that I didn't like it. Although I do like it, I am not sure I will continue to use it after I am done using all the samples as I do not like the smell. I am really funny about that sort of thing and there are other products that I like that work just as well that I like the smell. So, it is stricly a preference thing on my part. I do believe any product that has Vitamin C in it is the best for skin repair and therefore give this product a good review despite the fact I won't buy it again. It made the skin under my eyes less crepey and the fine lines less visible, which is exactly what I was looking for in the product. This was not intended as an eye cream, but I did use it under my eye as well as my face. Again, I think this is a good product, but I just had an issue with the smell.

The only down-side for me, personally, is I hate the smell of Tea Tree Oil, it is not a sweet feminine fragrance and I really do not want people to associate the scent with me because it is strong and earthy. But this is just a personal preference. In addition, I would consider this product uni-sex, almost favoring males however because of the earthy smell, but the results are so extreme, that this is something I can easily overcome and is worth a clean and clear complexion that bolsters my confidence and attractiveness!

UPDATE:

I ran out of pads and did not get around to ordering a new pack for about 2 weeks, (school, work, and other responsibilities), my acne came back with a vengeance. After ordering more (many many packs) after the first application it's like my acne just shrunk, just wiped away. This product it unbelievable! Forget Roc, forget Oil of Olay, Loreal, and all the others, this gets rid of more dirt, more oil, more acne, more lines, more dead skin cells, and makes me look younger, no joke. I've never loved a product as much as this as far as beauty, cleansers, or aesthetics. And it's all natural, I mean ALL natural. My skin feels clean, and smooth, unlike anything I have ever felt with any other product; no residue, no stickiness, and not overly dry and tight (even though I don't mind that feeling). I use it when I wake up, at lunchtime, and before I go to bed, one pad, three times a day. You'll notice the difference after using just 1 pad, I promise, no stinging, no burning (even in open blemishes), again the smell is strong (earthy, tea tree oil) but completely irrelevant because it works wonderfully.

These little cleansing pads are a wake-up call for my face. Exhilarating would be putting it mildly. At first whiff, I was a little taken aback, it was quite an experience. One that even may clear up any sinus condition. But once I found how good to my face this little treasure was, I became addicted to the refreshing quality it has. After a while, my face felt radiantly clean, and have added it to my daily regiment. But you should try not to get it to close to your eyes;it can sting a bit.

This is without a doubt the best body cleansing lotion that I have ever used. Can not buy it anywhere here in New Brunswick that I have found yet, so appreciate finding on the internet. Feels nice on your skin and the scent is heavenly. Love all the Cashmere Mist line, perfume,and deodorant. Price is very competitive also.

I bought this by mistake and was not really pleased with it. Would not recommend it but I do like her other products.
