I have tried many, many, many face washes over the years. I find this one to be very gentle on my skin, leaving it super clean and very soft. Because it is easy on my skin, it doesn't cause breakouts or irritate my skin in any way. I am fair skinned and have have both oily/dry skin. It works beautifully and is worth the money (to me anyway). My skin has never looked better -I'm 43 years old and have been using this for 10 years now. I tried changing to a less expensive product from Alba, but my skin revolted (even though I'm sure it was a good product). It's just not worth messing with something that works so well.

I received a full-size sample of this product, and I was immediately smitten!!

I have tried many, many face cleansers (being as I have "combination skin", I've tried all types). This one, which I first tried while away on a women's retreat last winter, left my face feeling creamy soft and completely refreshed!

The product comes out as a white cream you don't need a large amount, so the bottle will last you quite some time. Upon contact, be prepared for a cool, refreshing, minty tingle (take care around your eyes as they will burn if the cream gets in them). The cream is almost masque-like in its composition, which further adds to its spa-like quality. It doesn't drip or foam. It's a lavish creamsicle for your face. :)

But all of the niceties aside...does it work? Well, during one of the hottest, most humid summers on record, this Illinois girl says absolutely it does! I'm not experiencing that oily summer "sheen", my break-outs are greatly decreased and I love, love, love the feeling of being pampered just by washing my face.

I love the smell of this cleanser. The combination of Bergamot, Lavender and Mint create a wonderfully fresh smelling scent, which to me is sort of an earthy mintiness.

I only need to use a small dime-size amount of this cleanser. It has the consistency of a thick lotion and develops into a nice frothy lather. While I could splash it off with water, I find that it's better to use a wash cloth to thoroughly rinse it off.

The results are really amazing. My oily T-zone feels clean but my cheeks (typically dry) don't feel tight or dry. Makeup is thoroughly washed off and the cleanser doesn't irritate my eyes I had been having some issues with minor breakouts but since using this cleanser for the past few weeks, my skin has seen noticeable improvement.

While this cleanser doesn't dry out the skin, I didn't find it to add moisture either. But with this type of cleanser I didn't have expectations that it would. In the past I have used a lot of cream cleansers (non-foaming) which were great for the dry skin, but didn't help much with the oily areas. Checks and Balances is the happy medium nice foaming action while managing to maintain skin's natural moisture level.

After one use of this product, I saw an immediate improvement on my very dry face. I use it in combo with Benefit's Dear John moisturizer and now my face is so much softer, it's almost unbelievable to me. The difference between night and day. I can't stop touching my face! You name the brand, I've used its face wash. Origins Checks and Balances does so much more than it says! I have combination skin, leaning more towards oily, and this clears my skin without drying it out. This is great shampoo! I use it to wash my hair in the shower and it's amazing how clean it gets it--there's a shine to my hair that makes it look good and not greasy. I don't need to use much in order to work up a good lather and the scent is not overpowering in any way.

However, there still is a mild scent to this shampoo. If you are allergic to scents I would recommend you look elsewhere for unscented shampoo.

I've worked around Skincare and cosmetics for years and this brand is the only one that has worked on my sensitive skin. Great for all ages. My aesthetician uses it and recommended it. Start early if you can! I thought my skin was oily because I was breaking out all the time so I was drying it out with ALL KINDS of expensive stuff. Come to find out that I'm dry and my skin was over producing oil to compensate hence the acne. Elemis cleared it up in about three months to get all the congestion out. Amazing. I also encountered this product on a cruise it was recommended to me by the spa onboard and I bought it there. It smelled so good!

Since then I've had noticeably better skin, less redness, smaller pores, and my skin looks more dewey and youthful (but not shiny or greasy). I've never had a skincare product that actually made such a difference (combined with Youth As We Know it night cream).

Once I figure out how quickly I go through this product, I'll probably just put it on reoccurring order it's that good

Neutrogena Naturals Face & Body Bar, Avocado & Olive Oil, 3.5 oz.

I'm allergic to many perfumes and floral scents. This is the _only_ soap I've found that I can use. I've had zero problems with it. I would highly recommend it to others with allergies or sensitive skin.

For those without this concern, it's a nice, mild, neutral soap that works well with other products.

It gets rid of the oil but doesn't dry out the skin. I use it for face and body. Been buying them @ Wal-Mart but not all Wal-Marts have it.

Target does not have it by itself (checked yesterday). You'd have to buy the package which includes 3 other Neutrogena Naturals products. I don't care much for those other 3 products. The moisturizer burns. Facewash is ok. I don't remember what the 3rd product is.

I bought this on a whim at Walmart because I was traveling and forgot the expensive department store face cleanser I normally use, and WOW. I LOVE this. It made my face SOOOO clean and SOOOO soft. It removed all my makeup, even eye makeup. When I used it as a body bar, it left all my super dry skin soft and clean as well. After having been blessed with nearly 40 years of the sort of skin that makes strangers stop me and ask me what products I use to maintain my complexion, my luck has finally begun to wear out. My skin, though generally clear, has always been extremely sensitive, both to beauty products and to environmental irritants. The past few years, tiny wrinkles on my brow, and around my eyes and nose have become a bit more pronounced. Most cleansers I've tried have either been too oily (they cause my pores to clog or they generally irritate my skin), or too drying (causing tightness and wrinkling). With the low price of this cleanser with its gimmicky brush, I figured it was worth a try. The first time I used it, upon drying, my face felt amazingly soft and smooth. But I remained skeptical until I had used it regularly for about a week. Still, I had no irritation at all. It doesn't leave my skin dry or greasy, doesn't have any obnoxious perfume, and removes a full face of makeup with amazing ease. The brush is so soft, it doesn't feel as if it can really be exfoliating, although scrubbing under the eyes feels envigorating. The gel cleanser doesn't provide a lot of foam during scrubbing, so the first few times I used it, I was afraid I wasn't cleansing my skin deeply enough. But the disappearance of the small bumps above my nose and on my chin a few days later proved that it really was working as promised, without overdrying. This is a really wonderful product at a very reasonable price.

The Garnier Brusher Gel Cleanser sounds like such a silly gimmick. The brush on the top isn't really a brush as much as it is a disk with little silicon flanges poking out of it. The cleanser doesn't really foam much, and it doesn't feel like it's getting my skin clean. Then I rinse my face: epiphany moment. This little brush not only managed to clean off my skin, but it also got off all the foundation I was wearing throughout the day. My skin felt soft and clean. I've now been using the Brusher Gel Cleanser in conjunction with the Gel Moisturizer for about 3 months, and my skin is improving so much my skin is so soft and getting clearer!

The one gripe I have with this brusher is getting the soap out of it to use if you store it upright, it sometimes can be difficult to squeeze out the soap. I started storing it upside down and it helps a little, but be prepared to squeeze a little to dispense the soap. Outside of that, highly recommended.

You actually do notice a difference after the first use, again after the first week or two, and if you continue using it the results are stunning. The rubber bristles really help to aid in removing dirt and grime from your skin. Yet, it's gentle enough to use in the morning and at night.I encourage anyone curious to buy this product. I like to couple mine with the "Skin RenewRadiance Moisture Cream." For those of you who are unsure how to use this to your best advantage, I'll tell you how:

Step 1: Pat your face and neck with warm water.

Step 2: Take the cleanser, twist it open, place the bristles against your skin and squeeze the contents onto your face and neck(A little goes a long way)

Step 3: Rub the bristles all over your neck and face (Make sure you twist the product close before doing this, so that you don't accidentally squeeze more out)

Step 4: Once you've gone over your skin several times, let it sit for about 30 seconds

Step 5: Wash the cleanser off with warm water, then pat it dry with a towel

Step 6: Take the Radiance Moisture Cream and dab it on your face and neck and continue rubbing until it is evenly absorbed all over your skin

YOU'RE DONE!

I would say to do this at least once a day (If you're only going to do it once, I suggest doing it at night) and you'll notice a HUGE change in your skin after about a week. It's definitely one of my favorite products. Oh, and did I mention it smells REALLY good? :)

This product (Garnier Brusher) was on sale at CVS, so I gave it a try. I hope it never goes out of production.

Some have complained about turning the bottle upside down to dispense the cleanser. I don't get what the problem is... I turn the bottle sideways so the amount being squeezed out can be seen. It doesn't really pour out, it's a gel so what comes out stays inside the bristles. Anyway, once the gel is in the bristles you just scrub your face with it. (Wet face with warm water first to open the pores) It feels really good and massages the skin. Afterwards, I rinse the gel off with cool water to close the pores and finish with an astringent. My skin feels so soft now, the ingredients are not drying at all. I love it!

My husband's facial skin has always been a problem. He's a plumber and he never seemed to cleanse his face properly. He tried the Garnier Brusher and what an improvement in his skin! It's easy enough for even HIM to use! It scrubs out all the dirt from his pores, nooks and crannies. What a blessing!!!!

This product is awesome. It makes the daunting task of washing my face much easier and faster and generally more convenient. Olay Professional Pro-X Intensive Wrinkle Protocol 1 Kit

I am not a very fussy person when it comes to beauty. I don't wear makeup most days, but do want to keep from looking like a Char Pei on a bad day before I'm 60.

Because of allergies, I've always been a Neutrogena gal, using their Healthy Skin line for years. I'm currently using the Anti-Wrinkle / SPF 15 with Retinol, which I've been happy with.

When the Olay ProX System became available through the Amazon Vine program, I really looked forward to testing an expensive anti-wrinkle system. When the box arrived, I was ready to throw my cheapo Neutrogena tube in the junk drawer and start slathering the high-dollar solution on my wrinkled mug, but then I got a thought, "why not do a side-by-side test?". Literally, the right side of my face would be Neutrogena, the left would be the property of Ms. Olay.

I started on May 29, right after taking a `before' photo. So nice to take a close-up makeup-free snap of yourself in bright daylight, such a wonderful way to start the day, but this was for science!

Every day (and night) since I've faithfully applied the three Olay products as directed to the left side of my face and neck, and done my usual Neutrogena in the AM and nothing at night on the right.

After a month, there is absolutely no discernible difference between the right and left sides of my face; well, besides the differences that were there already. I have the same amount of wrinkles, the same depth, the same age spots, everything.

Yes, it is ugly, but for a good cause!

In conclusion, I did not have any adverse reaction to the Olay products. All three felt good on my face, never oily or heavy. If I had seen any results at all, I would be happy to continue using them and paying 4x the cost of the Neutrogena Healthy Skin cream. However, without results, I can't see any reason to spend the extra money just for nicer packaging.

To give some background, I am a middle aged woman who is showing a little wear: crinkles around the eyes, a "surprise" line on my forehead and those wrinkles between my eyes. I have fair skin, not too dry.

I got the Olay Pro-x Intensive Wrinkle Protocol Kit about a month ago. The company says that this formulation works by making the outer layer of skin act younger by renewing itself more quickly and maintaining the moisture barrier more efficiently.

Here's how to use the kit: After washing the face in the morning, apply the 30SPF lotion. Then, on the "deep" wrinkles, like around my eyes and on my forehead, apply the deep wrinkle cream (in the tube). Then apply makeup as usual. I found the lotion to be very moisturizing. I had been using Bare Escentuals powder foundation, but found that I couldn't use it while using the kit because my skin was too moist and the powder "clogged". Instead, I mixed some cream foundation with the lotion and applied it with a makeup sponge. At night, again, after washing, slap on the anti aging cream from the jar, followed by the deep wrinkle cream on the forehead and eyes.

Did it make my wrinkles go away? Nope. What it did do was soften their appearance and give my skin a nice dewy look. I liked the SPF in the lotion and the way the deep wrinkle cream smoothed out my crow's feet.

I enjoy using the kit and it does make my skin feel and look softer, but it hasn't removed any years (more's the pity!).

I cannot stress enough that you should test this on a small patch of skin first before using. Especially the tube of anti-wrinkle cream. On my second day of use, I noticed small blistery bumps around my eyes and on my chin. I stopped using the products immediately and washed my face thoroughly, but the skin irritation got worse. I tried calling the toll free number on the box but was never able to reach a live person because their phone system kept disconnecting me. I eventually sent an email and the reply was that if needed I should see my doctor. The blisters got worse, broke open, and it took over a week for my face to completely heal. I was really disappointed, not only in the product but in the customer service from Olay. Even though there is not a warning on the box telling you to test the product before putting it on your face, I really urge everyone to do that. I sure wish I would have!

Of course I was somewhat skeptic about the idea of a product that will help minimize and reduce wrinkles, but I am a believer now. My husband gave me this kit for my 41st birthday...yes he gave it to me as a present. Any other woman would of sent him to the doghouse but I actually asked for this.

I have tried Avon Anew products but had a bad reaction to it. My face swelled and felt numb. Since then I have been using Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer Lotion. The allergic reaction with the Avon products made me hesitant to try new products. Olay is now my preferred choice of skin products. The bottles are smaller than I expected but I carefully read the instructions and quickly started using them. To my surprise, a little does go a long ways. The cream glides on smoothly and effortlessly. In the AM I first apply the ProX Deep Wrinkle Treatment to the crows feet near my eyes, the wrinkles on my forehead and smile/laugh lines around my mouth. Then I apply the ProX Age Repair Lotion all over my face and neck. In the PM before bed, I once again apply the ProX Deep Wrinkle Treatment around my eyes, forehead and smile lines, then apply the Wrinkle Smoothing Cream. It leaves such a smooth silk feeling on my face. My husband is always "petting" me now. LOL

Just after one week I can see dramatic results. The crows feet are less noticeable and the wrinkles on my forehead are smoothing out. The smile/laugh lines around my mouth have not really changed, but I truly believe with continuous use my face will appear 10 years younger in no time. I have no no adverse reactions to the formulas and they have a clean refreshing scent.

My husband made the mistake of purchasing this kit from a well know retail chain and paid full price. Amazon by far offers the Olay products for the best prices around.

UPDATE: I t has been over a couple months and I can honestly say I see a dramatic difference. My laugh lines around my mouth, crows feet and wrinkles on my forehead are about 75% less noticeable. My face is younger looking and healthier, which overall gives me better self-esteem about my "real" age.

I purchased this kit online at Target, $10.00 off. I had been using the Olay Definity line and thought I'd give the Pro-X a chance, especially with the discount. The wrinkle smoothing cream is sticky for quite some time, at least it is on my face. But, it's smooth as butta in the morning. :) Both the wrinkle smoothing cream (nighttime) and the Daytime lotion with SPF 30 seem to improve my skin. Two age spots, on my cheek, were lightened previously with the Olay Definity line. The Pro-X line seems to have almost taken the spots out completely. I didn't think that was possible. On the downside, I had to stop using the deep wrinkle treatment. It caused redness on my crow's feet area, like a mini sunburn. I was on the Olay website and Olay called me when I mentioned the redness in an oline chat. The lady sent me a coupon good for a free Definity product, which she thought might fit my skin type better. I like the Definity line, even the smell. So, I might use both the Pro-X and Definity line, or simply go back to the cheaper Definity line. Definity seems lighter when applied. I'm pleased overall, but is it a better product than Olay's other lines? Debatable. Honestly, I wish Olay didn't have so many lines. Multiple lines drives me nuts. Regenerist, Definity, Pro-X. I just want something that works that won't empty my skin care piggy bank.

I had trouble finding a product I could use safely during pregnancy to replace my salicylic acid face wash, and finally I found this one it worked great. worth the price, for sure. minimal number of ingredients, all natural stuff, safe, and doesn't smell too strong (for first trimester smell sensitivity). I used it throughout my whole pregnancy and maintained decent skin (as decent as it could be with all those hormones)! i'll use it again next time I'm expecting.

I loved this scent in the store but referred to buy on line knowing the price would be more affordable. From what I could compare on line, I was purchasing the same as I smelled in the store. When I received the product there was one main difference; hardly any odor! I am so disappointed. I think I got caught in a bate and switch scheme.

I paid a high price to get the PERFUME and my mother, who is elderly and sick, received cheap, weak cologne instead. I am late reporting this because she didn't want to upset me by telling me. She finally told me. I see no excuse for this if people who can READ the front of something, and I don't believe it was a mistake. I believe they're making a nice profit off people by doing this substituting toilette water instead of what they advertised real perfume.

I first used a sample of this cleanser from my dermatologist's office. After using it, I was hooked. My skin tone had been blotchy with uneven skin tone. My skin improved to the point I was willing to go out in public without foundation although still wear foundation for everything other than everyday running around. There are tiny beads in this cleanser that help softly scrub your face clean. I keep one in the shower and one by my sink and use it every day. It has a very tiny fragrance that just smells nice.

It doesn't leave a residue on your skin either.

Perfect product.

Make sure you get this one and not Aveenos basic cleanser as it won't have the beads. I made that mistake once.

Bed Head Foxy Curls Frizz-Fighting Sulfate-Free Shampoo (25.36)

After almost all of my adult years trying to find a shampoo and conditioner that worked for me, I've pretty much settled on the Bed Head line. I've used probably 5 or 6 different Bed Head shampoos & conditioners over the last seven or so years, and over the past two have settled on using solely their sulfate-free shampoos (I don't think they have sulfates in conditioners, but I may be mistaken). This duo -Bed Head TIGI Foxy Curls Frizz-Fighting Sulfate-Free Shampoo 25.36 oz (750 ml) & Bed Head by TIGI, Foxy Curls, Frizz-Fighting Moisturelicious Conditioner, 25.36 -ounce -are my hands-down favorite.

The smell is surprising at first, as others have mentioned. It definitely has a kiddie candy-like scent. But as strong as it is, I found the power of it dissipates soon after you're out of the shower. I've never been walking through a store and heard anyone say, "Why am I smelling Skittles?" So I really think the smell fades quickly; it's not just that I'm used to it. Although my son still gets giggly when he smells me coming out of the shower. My husband likes the smell, too.

I have longer thick, wavy-to-curly hair. I dye my hair about every 4 weeks, usually a medium to dark brown or auburn color. The sulfate-free shampoo of this duo seems to keep the reds in my hair longer, and I really think it's been helping keep the color from fading. In my mid-thirties I started feeling my hair wasn't as thick as it used to be. Since I've been using sulfate-free products, I haven't noticed that AT ALL anymore. My hair's as thick as it ever was.

I'm outside almost all the time. This spring and early summer, I switched to the Tigi Bed Head Some Like it Hot Shampoo & Conditioner Duo 25.36oz eac, because I'd heard good things about it, and because I was wondering if it would help even more with frizzy hair when it's humid. That duo made my hair feel heavy, almost dirty, and actually did not help at all with frizzy hair. And, I didn't really like the smell of it; I found I was missing the Foxy Curls duo when I was using it. I'm not sure how it holds up to a blow dryer, though. I found years ago that when I use these products, use a wide-tooth comb when I have the conditioner in, then when I'm out of the shower use just a drop of Bed Head TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier 4 oz., I'm good to go.

I am so happy to have found a sulfate free shampoo that doesn't make my hair feel like straw! This shampoo and conditioner line smells like skittles and I could smell it all day long but if you do not like fruity/candy smells it may be too much for you. It suds up perfectly and my hair definately feels clean after using it. It does not do a whole lot for my curls but it does take a little of the frizz out as long as I use it with the paired conditioner. This is my number one favorite shampoo/conditioner combo right now and I have upgraded to the larger size pump container.
