Ibd Intense Seal .5oz Each

WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS, even tho the product info and insructions state on the product that it is for acrylic AND GELS, it actully does not work with SOAK OFF gel products and polish. nail polish and soak off gels are more flexible than the intense seal, so it will crack and peel off and peel your polish right off. I used it on a client after applying soak off gels, and it peeled by next day.

i want the company to make sure this info is put on official product descriptions and instructions.. grrrr

IBD Intense Seal does what it says on the package (mostly). It applies like polish over filed acrylic or cured gel and then cures in the gel lamp. IBD Intense Seal is a little runnier than Brisa Gloss topcoat, but they're otherwise very similar in application and curing and you don't have to remove the inhibition layer after IBD Intense Seal. They both have that purple fluorescence that is always cool if you go anywhere with black lights. This product will NOT soak off with acetone, so you have to file the nail enhancement to remove it.

My only problem with this product is that it is brittle. You CAN'T apply it over polish on natural nails (to protect them from polish remover) because the flex of the natural nails will have it crack off. (If you must protect polish on natural nails from chemicals, I would recommend CND Shellac topcoat instead.) IBD Intense Seal will crack off of anything flexible (including too-thin gel or wraps) and after a few days I notice small chips off the sealed free edge of my acrylics. I just smooth the edge of the chip with a file and it wears fine afterwards.

Personally, I don't use Intense Seal on myself any more... I prefer IBD clear gel instead to seal my acrylics because it's not brittle and doesn't chip, but it doesn't feel totally slick like Intense Seal feels. So I still use Intense Seal sometimes on clients for convenience.

So, in summary, if you want to seal acrylic nails, this stuff applies very easily, cures in 2-3 minutes depending on your gel lamp, doesn't need leave an inhibition layer, and stays shiny for weeks. You need a gel lamp to cure it and you have to file it off to remove or fill. It won't work for anything less rigid than acrylic because it's a little brittle.

I absolutely love this product. It leaves a very durable high shine finish on nails with gel overlays, gel polishes, acrylic nails, and gel nails. I imagine it would also perform exceptionally well over silk and fiberglass wraps, but I haven't used it for that yet. I have replaced my UV Top Coat with this product since it requires no clean up or buffing after curing. I do not, however, recommend using it on natural nails. I gave it a shot to test it out since I'd heard good and bad on it's performance on natural nails. It flakes off on the free edge of the nail very easily with natural nails. I haven't had that problem with my gel overlays or my mother's acrylic and gel nails. What I love best about this product is that it protects my manicure very well from acetone during polish removals and clean up. I use the soak off method to remove stubborn glitter polishes and so far this product has stood up to the abuse perfectly. It's a major game changer for a polish addict like me. The only thing I would add is that it is detrimentally important to wrap the free edge of the nail during application. It will flake off and chip every time if you forget or don't properly get the entire free edge. I also recommend curing for 4 minutes under a UV light instead of the recommended 3 minutes. It seams to seal a bit stronger with that extra minute of curing time.

I have only used this a few times recently (so, maybe I shouldn't be writing a review until I have used it for awhile) but I love this. It's smells good (just like the lotion, that I use every day as my face moisturizer). It cleans your face, takes me make up, and makes it soooo smooth. I love it. The feeling after you watch and pat your face dry it amazing. I really like it cause my face does break out and is dry during winter and this really helps put moisture back into it. Definitely try it if you skin is on the dry side and you are looking for a good cleansing foam.

These pads have a very strong ammonia smell to them; it is quite overpowering and smells of perm solution. They also are not textured pads, but smooth, very slippery and watery pads, leaving a lot of solution over your skin to the point it drips down your face -not to mention the pads slide every way but the right way. The pads were extremely saturated by the liquid solution, which I supposed is better than the super-dry pads I've tried in the past. In terms of benefits to my sensitive, blemish-prone skin: I noticed very little change in acne, blackheads, or clairity. The pads helped minimize some smaller blemishes, but did nothing for the moderate or bigger eruptions, and only minimally helped in preventing acne. There were no changes in the blackheads. Solvere Acne Pads are equivalent to Stridex in terms of helping to clear acne. On the positive side, the pads were not drying to my sensitive, blemished skin, and that was the main reason I bought them. If you are tired of drying pads and want some improvement over very minor acne eruptions (and don't mind smelling like a salon perm), then this is your product. If you have severe or more cystic acne, or even moderate acne, try something else and don't waste your money. I will not buy this again.

I feel as though I am applying cream on my face when I use this product, so my face feels moisturized and cleansed. The pump dispenser on the other hand is bit of a hassle. I could get one pump squirt on my hand just fine but anymore and I have to unscrew the pump off.

I am very disappointed with this product. It's weird and ineffective. You're supposed to massage this on DRY skin and then rinse off. I followed the directions exactly, and my face felt all greasy afterward. Plus, the product smells funny, almost like milk, and I did not enjoy that. After I washed my face, it didn't feel clean, so I rubbed a damp cloth on my cheek, and guess what? It wasn't. There was still a bunch of makeup on my face. I had to rewash my face with my regular foaming cleanser. I am glad I received this stuff as a free sample, because I would have been super mad if I'd actually paid for it.

Pond's Cold Cream the Cool Classic 3.5 Oz (99 G) (Pack of 3)

I have been using Pond's Cold Cream nearly my entire life, and that is no exaggeration. I took dance from age three, and once I got older, I became introduced to "stage make-up," which just mean everything is over the top. This is what my mom used to remove her make-up every night, and what she used on me to remove my dance make-up after recitals. Once I started wearing every day make-up on a regular basis, I used this as well, and still use it to remove make-up to this day (nearly 10 years later!). My mother has dry skin, so she just uses the Pond's and then a moisturizer (she likes Nivea in the big blue jar). I have oily skin, so I use Pond's to remove my face and eye make-up and then follow up with a regular cleanser (Neutrogena Naturals) and a light, night moisturizer. My eyes are sensitive too, and this is the only thing I've used that doesn't make them burn. I also feel that it removes make-up and impurities better than my cleanser alone. When I am lazy and don't use the Pond's, there is always make-up residue on my towel.

Also, please do follow the directions on the back--it says to remove with a warm wash cloth & that is what works best. Some friends have complained that it doesn't come off, but it will not rinse off by just splashing your face with water. This review seems a bit long, but that just goes to show how much I appreciate this product.

Wow, I've tried a million cleansers but once I notice that I'm developing blackheads or pimples,I'm back to Ponds. I guess it bothers me a bit that I might be considered using an " old lady" product. Yet its the only product that has been "real". It is wonderful to use slather your face with it in the shower and leave it on for a bit. Then take a warm washcloth, wipe your face and then splash cool water. If you don't wipe with a warm cloth, it will be difficult to remove. I find that it helps keep my skin clear and deeply moisturized. It really is an awesome product. I make sure that I always have two extra jars because I'm afraid to run out it. Anyway, I'd rather be a pretty old lady than a young lady with problem skin.

Natural Silk Sea Sponges

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually liked using this little sponge on my face. It holds a lot of water and absorbs well, but rinses out clean and dries quick. It was a bit expensive for the size, but after using it, I think it was well worth it. I would recommend. It is a nice addition to cleansing your face w/o being harsh or abrasive. I got the two inch size and it seems to be the perfect size.

I've been looking into alternative menstrual products for a while-we all know tampons and pads are wasteful, expensive, and full of chemicals. I bought a divacup and it didn't work for me, so I decided to try sea sponges.

I picked these sponges on a whim, and I'm glad I did! They are very soft and easy to cut to size. You boil them before use (because they harbor bacteria, which is why it is hard to find sponges marketed as menstrual products). Then it's like using a reusable tampon-change it minimum 3x a day, and rinse and boil between uses. Always boil well after each cycle-one sponge usually lasts multiple cycles.

These sponges worked very well as a menstrual product, very comfortable and easy to use. Now I'm considering buying some more for more conventional uses! I would recommend these sponges very highly for menstrual use!

I ordered the largest size they offer (3.5 to 4 inches). The sponge was much more of an irregular shape than the picture shown here. The four inches is measured from tip-to-tip of the longest possible dimension. Measuring 90 degrees from that, the sponge I got was only about two inches wide.

The sponge lasted just six weeks before falling apart. At $13.45 (with shipping) this is way too expensive. You can get LATHER Natural Sea Wool Sponge shipped for $14 and that is huge. You could cut that up to make at least four decent sized sponges considerably larger than this one. (I say four only to be on the conservative side.)

While it lasted, though, it was very nice.

This tiny sponge is great for gently removing soap amd even mud masks from your face. For my sensitive skin, a towel is not always an option. This sponge is gentle and effective. After using a mud mask, it cleaned up with very little effort. The sponge is also very soothing so watch out, you may doze off while using it.

This is a great shampoo to use once or twice a week to get all the gunk out of my hair. I love the light fragrance...somewhat evocative of citrus but also all its own. This is an honest product that does what it says it will do. I find that to be the case with a lot of L'Anza products.

I wash my hair every other day. I don't know that this would dry out your hair if used every day, but I don't think it would if you conditioned well enough. Lanza is a great product line, my runner up to the best and I recommend this for nice clean hair. My hair hasn't seen it's natural color in 6 years, and this works well for me.

I've been using Pernox since at least the early '90's and would recommend it to anyone! I have oily, sensitive skin, and I won't use anything else. Pernox is like many anti-acne products on the market today in that it does contain salicylic acid, but the comparison ends there. Pernox also works because of the sulfur content sulfur has been used since Roman times as a naturally antiseptic agent, and prevents the bacterial growth that can cause acne breakouts. Additionally, the abradant scrub part is very, very fine, and polishes rather than scratching. With this product I have gone from acne-prone to someone who gets compliments on beautiful clear skin. I don't even have to wear makeup!

To be fair, it may take a few weeks to adjust to using it, but work into it slowly, and you will not be disappointed.

If you have a pimple and need to get rid of it now this is the product. It is a scrub and will open a pimple that has come to a head, but that is okay. Pernox will clean the area and kill the germs the caused the pimple. I used this product as a teenager. It was recommended by my dermatologist. If you use this at least 3 times a week it will prevent any build up of pimples. I never had a bad case of acne, but as a teen pimples just show up sometimes. Vitabath smells great and I like the product but the gallon pump is junk. I've been buying this product for years and recently they have changed the pump. The old pump used to have a visible spring in it and was heavy duty. You have the gallon product for a long time, so the pump has got to last. I had two pumps (I bought another gallon just to get the pump -crazy!) and they both broke in a couple of weeks. Don't buy the gallon. Lab Series Max LS Daily Renewing Cream Cleanser

I got a trial size tube of this stuff from Nordstoms when I bought a Clarisonic brush for my face. I looked at it and thought I would save it for when I travel since it is so small, not thinking that I would like it much. I tried it for the first time and couldn't believe how good it worked!
