Dr. Hauschka - Cleansing Milk - 4.9 FL OZ

Though I agree with the other poster about the inconvenience of the bottle (it is heavy, breakable, not conducive to travel, and difficult to get the last precious drops out -for me only about 1/2 tsp remains in the bottom), I have to give this product 5 stars because what is inside the bottle is spectacular.

The cleansing milk is so gentle, not even stinging if it gets in my eyes, and not drying my face, even in the depths of winter. I love the smell, like rose-scented geraniums, lychees, and cold cream. Ever since I started using this product a couple of years ago, my complexion has been clear and I have been receiving consistent compliments on my skin. I can really see the difference, and it appears that others can too.

Because this product is at the top of my price range, I only wash my face once a day with one pump per application, so I make it last. This product is far nicer than anything I had ever used before it. I think it is well-worth the extra money.

EDIT:

I have recently stopped using this product, not because I don't like it (I still love it), but because money is a bit tight for me at the moment. If it is tight for you too, consider Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser 16 Oz as a replacement for this. It is also very gentle and non-sudsing, and though it is a bit less rich and doesn't smell nice like the Cleansing Milk, it is much less expensive. The Dr. Hauschka's is still my favorite, and still feels more nourishing to the skin, but the cetaphil is good enough for now.

this is a face wash from heaven. for some reason it is the only product that does not give me an allergic reaction. smells great, removes eye makeup...very important.

it's inconveniently in a bottle that leaves at least a tablespoon or two of product at the bottom. it requires tremendous effort to remove (inverting it for days and catching it before it falls out as you put it in your hand). you'd think for $35 someone at the company could work this out.

This is without a doubt the best cleanser I have ever used! It's super gentle, smells great, gets makeup off, and is incredibly soothing. I tend to have a little redness on my cheeks and the occasional breakout, but this product has soothed most of the redness (I hardly notice it at all) and has cleared up my face a lot.

There are only two downsides: the price and the bottle. This product is a bit pricey (like the entire Dr. Hauschka line) but I definitely think it is worth the money. With the amount this has helped out my skin, I would pay a lot more for it to be completely honest. The bottle is glass, which isn't a bit deal for me, but it makes it difficult to travel with. It would probably be better in a squeezable tube.

I do think the product is worth the money and problems with the bottle, which is why I kept the 5 star rating. The pros outweigh the cons.

BUYER BEWARE: When my Neova skin cream arrived, it was in an older completely different style of packaging that doesn't look a thing like this photo. My skin is very sensitive but also prone to break outs in the t-line. I tried lots of different brands and even the same brand's different products (loreal, nivea, olay, neutragena, anew, almay, ponds etc). I didn't try more expensive products (such as shiseido, lancome, guerlain, dior etc) because I don't like spending that much on moisturizers. What I look in a moisturizer is

1. it should be dermatalogically tested

2. and hypo-allergenic,

3. it won't clog pores and

4.to do its job without break-outs.

Within this criteria and within my price range, this product is a good one. I gave this product 5 stars because I'm buying this for the third time and don't have any complaints.

I started using this product along with Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser and Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment Vanishing Cream. I can say this regime saved me, thank you Neutrogena! I used to use the Sensitive Acne-Free system but after awhile it just stopped doing it for me. I researched A LOT of products, looking to make sure harmful chemicals and all that were not present and I basically found all three of these products to be some of the best on the market, that are on the cheaper side. This is the last thing I use in my regime and I really love the easy pump bottle. Sometimes it dispenses a little too much for my liking but you can always do a half-pump or whatever your face needs are. It goes on nice and smooth and doesn't leave a dry or stiff feeling after it soaks in. I also like how you turn it to be able to dispense it, then turn it back to close it up; makes it very portable. I actually didn't buy this product off of Amazon, I get it at Walmart and it's about $9 dollars, so this 2 pack on here is a little bit better price. I wished it were cheaper but hey, this lasts me a long time, I'm guessing at least 4 months, maybe more, so that is impressive! To help you gauge the time it will last you, about 95% I wash my face once a day, sometimes I will wash it twice, just depends. But overall, a great product, decent price, doesn't leave my face red, dry, itchy, or stiff. I also like the fact that it is both oil-free and fragrance free! Definitely would reccommend this product 100%!

I have sensitive skin that seems to be becoming more and more sensitive as time goes on. I've tried lots of different products claiming to be great for sensitive skin, but those claims don't usually hold true (they either make me break out or itchy or have scents, etc. in them that are irritating....or are for more mature skin) but this stuff does! It moisturizes without being greasy or causing irritation. I've been using it for about a year now and I've never had any problems with it. Usually lotions will cause me to break out in a purple patchy rash around my mouth, but this doesn't at all. It does need a few minutes to really absorb into the skin after applying it though (at least before starting to put on make up or whatever). Definitely recommend!

I originally gave this product 5 stars; however, after a few months' of use, I think 3 stars is more appropriate.

This lotion hydrates my face quite well, but I recommend that you only use this at night since it leaves your skin feeling and looking really greasy (and there's no sun protection). It does not make my skin break out, but, even though it says it's for sensitive skin, when my skin gets a little on the dry side it really hurts to put this lotion on as in it burns! Anyway, I still think it's an overall decent product, but I have moved on to new and better products.

I discovered Kiss My Face products maybe 20 years ago. I was looking for a large size bath soap that didn't dry out my skin and didn't have a scent. I tried the olive oil and olive oil & aloe soaps and loved them. There is a very very light clean scent. The lavender scent soap is just wonderfully scented while using it and most importantly it doesn't cause dryness. One draw back if you use white or light color wash cloths -it will stain it after prolonged use. I also use the moisture lotion olive and aloe when needed especially in winter. There are stronger scented products that come in soft soap pump style containers. You can find this brand in most health food stores if you just want to try it. Then buy it in larger quanties on Amazon at a lower unit cost.

I love the nice smell the lavender gives the otherwise bland smelling olive oil soap. Since using this soap I have not had the super dry patches of skin I usually get in the winter. There is no film left on the skin like there is with so many of the moisturizing bar soaps. Make sure to keep this in a soap dish and drain the water out of the dish each time you use it. If it sits in water it will get very slimy and gunky. The 8 oz bar will last a long time and is a good value for a natural ingredient soap.

My skin, though generally clear, has always been extremely sensitive, both to beauty products and to environmental irritants. The past few years, tiny wrinkles on my brow, and around my eyes and nose have become a bit more pronounced. But the disappearance of the small bumps above my nose and on my chin a few days later proved that it really was working as promised, without overdrying. This is a really wonderful product at a very reasonable price.

The Garnier Brusher Gel Cleanser sounds like such a silly gimmick. The brush on the top isn't really a brush as much as it is a disk with little silicon flanges poking out of it. The cleanser doesn't really foam much, and it doesn't feel like it's getting my skin clean. Then I rinse my face: epiphany moment. This little brush not only managed to clean off my skin, but it also got off all the foundation I was wearing throughout the day. My skin felt soft and clean. I've now been using the Brusher Gel Cleanser in conjunction with the Gel Moisturizer for about 3 months, and my skin is improving so much my skin is so soft and getting clearer!

The one gripe I have with this brusher is getting the soap out of it to use if you store it upright, it sometimes can be difficult to squeeze out the soap. I started storing it upside down and it helps a little, but be prepared to squeeze a little to dispense the soap. Outside of that, highly recommended.

You actually do notice a difference after the first use, again after the first week or two, and if you continue using it the results are stunning. The rubber bristles really help to aid in removing dirt and grime from your skin. Yet, it's gentle enough to use in the morning and at night.I encourage anyone curious to buy this product. I like to couple mine with the "Skin RenewRadiance Moisture Cream." For those of you who are unsure how to use this to your best advantage, I'll tell you how:

Step 1: Pat your face and neck with warm water.

Step 2: Take the cleanser, twist it open, place the bristles against your skin and squeeze the contents onto your face and neck(A little goes a long way)

Step 3: Rub the bristles all over your neck and face (Make sure you twist the product close before doing this, so that you don't accidentally squeeze more out)

Step 4: Once you've gone over your skin several times, let it sit for about 30 seconds

Step 5: Wash the cleanser off with warm water, then pat it dry with a towel

Step 6: Take the Radiance Moisture Cream and dab it on your face and neck and continue rubbing until it is evenly absorbed all over your skin

YOU'RE DONE!

I would say to do this at least once a day (If you're only going to do it once, I suggest doing it at night) and you'll notice a HUGE change in your skin after about a week. It's definitely one of my favorite products. Oh, and did I mention it smells REALLY good? :)

This product (Garnier Brusher) was on sale at CVS, so I gave it a try. I hope it never goes out of production.

Some have complained about turning the bottle upside down to dispense the cleanser. I don't get what the problem is... I turn the bottle sideways so the amount being squeezed out can be seen. It doesn't really pour out, it's a gel so what comes out stays inside the bristles. Anyway, once the gel is in the bristles you just scrub your face with it. (Wet face with warm water first to open the pores) It feels really good and massages the skin. Afterwards, I rinse the gel off with cool water to close the pores and finish with an astringent. My skin feels so soft now, the ingredients are not drying at all. I love it!

My husband's facial skin has always been a problem. He's a plumber and he never seemed to cleanse his face properly. He tried the Garnier Brusher and what an improvement in his skin! This product is awesome. It makes the daunting task of washing my face much easier and faster and generally more convenient. I've always had very clear skin and never really bothered washing my face because it was very naturally balanced, but I did have some blackheads on my nose and larger pores around the bridge of my nose. Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, for normal to oily skin, 16.0 -Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

I purchased Cetaphil for normal to oily skin on the whim to see if it was any different from their Gentle Skin Cleanser line. I have the most polar combination skin possible, my cheeks generally are extremely dry whereas my forehead becomes very oily. All these problems are compounded by my dermatologist's retinoid prescriptions for controlling my acne, I end up with flaky and irritated skin on top of my oil and dryness issues; what a pain!

If you are cursed with skin like mine, I would not recommend this cleanser. Contrary to what it says, it does not "removes surface oils, dirt and makeup without leaving skin tight or overly dry." It does strip all the oils off my face, but it leaves my face feeling extremely dry, to the point where my skin feels like saran wrap, tight, plastic-like, and rubbery. In addition, the cleanser has an extremely powerful fragrance that I do not enjoy and really goes against Cetaphil's other products, which they advertise as being fragrance free for those with sensitive skin.

I will stick with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, as it is far more moisturizing, fragrance-free, and also removes facial oils.

(2008 HOLIDAY TEAM) Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, 16.0 -Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) is a great product for daily cleansing of your skin. I also use other products including the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, 16-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2). Both of these are good but work best in combination with other cleansers and exfoliants.

While the daily cleanser has more of a *cleansing* action, the gentle cleanser is more of a *moisturizing* cleanser. Meaning that one feels like lotion but cleans the oils from your skin more gently than this one.

Some people need the gentle cleanser due to skin conditions. If you just want an all around cleanser, the daily cleanser is the way to go.

One more thing about this package from Amazon. These 16 ounce bottles are BIG and very convenient due to the built in pump. I have found that one of these bottles will easily last me 6 months using it 3 or 4 days a week. I like to mix and match and not use the same cleanser every day. That makes these big two packs a GREAT deal, as this cleanser is normally expensive anyway, especially if you only buy 1 bottle at a time.

So if you need a nice facial cleanser, choose between this one or the gentle one depending on your needs. Specialized versions are also available such as the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser For Normal to Oily Skin, 8-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3).

Cetaphil is an amazing product. Our family has been using it for such a long time that I can remember. It is not sudsy like ordinary soap which makes it very easy to rinse. I have never found that perfect product that my skin jives well with. I read about cetaphil and most people talk about it like it is the 2nd coming of cleansers. Unfortunately this product caused my skin to burn and itch and break out very badly. After 3 days my nose feels like it has lizard scales and my chin and cheeks are a minefield of pimples. I have no idea how to fix the damage that this has caused. I used my regular product today and my skin still hurts.

What i'm saying is I am not sure this is for super sensitive skin.

I have been using this product for about 2 months now and I really love it! My skin has really been clearing up lately and I believe part of the reason is this product (I have also started to use a couple products prescribed by my dermatologist). I am very strict about washing my face every night (and morning) but I never realized how much make up and dirt could be left behind on my skin even after washing. I use this product every night. After I wash my face with an oil free acne wash to get off my makeup and mascara I use the cleansing pad to do a more thorough clean and to exfoliate. I realized that makeup was being left on the side of my nose especially which is a place I had frequent breakouts. After cleansing my face every night with these pad I apply a moisturizer to ensure my skin does not dry out and I have not had a problem yet. Like I said...its okay. I wasn't overly impressed with it. After rinsing it out I wasn't all that impressed with my hair texture. Its okay and since I only paid 7 bucks it was worth it.

This product itself is great, but unfortunately when I ordered through Amazon I received a different product I tried to return it and they sent me another set of wrong bottles! Instead of the shampoo for all hair types as shown in the photo and description, I received shampoo for oily hair in a totally different looking bottle! This dries out my hair too much and I cannot use it.

This is why the product gets 3 stars. Middle of the road. You may want to verify with Amazon before you place an order to see if they have fixed this. However, the shampoo itself (when you get the right stuff) is great. It doesn't foam too much so I could see how people would use more of it, but you really don't need to. You just have to get used to not having it foam as much.

The smell is heavenly!! I am going to have to drive into town to buy it now since Amazon can't seem to get this one right. :(

I got this 3 pack because this is listed slightly safer on skindeep than other shampoos. It smells great. I love their hand sanitizer spray with the same scent. The shampoo bottles are pretty small but I knew that when I bought them. The consistency is kind of like warming jello, it comes out in liquid gel like globs. My problem is with the consistency because it's hard to spread it around on my head without using a lot of extra shampoo. It foams up fine. It works great for my husband so he'll use up the 3 bottles. But I won't buy it again. It's way too expensive for me to be using 1/5 of the bottle every time I shampoo. If it came in a much larger size for the same price I'd buy it again.

I bought this 3 bottles package, I LOVE this shampoo the problem is I got the package and the shampoos were licking, and 2 of the bottles were half full.

Do I need to send them back or would you send me a replacement for the 2 bottles?

This is the replacement formulation for the old EO Sweet Orange Shampoo. Warning: it is in no way like the original. The wonderful orange smell of the original is almost totally gone, and now that they have reformulated it as a natural product or some such it doesn't really clean my hair nearly as well. I so wish EO still made the old formula -please bring it back, at least as an alternative.

I discovered Billy Jealousy products at my local barber shop. A trial set was available so I got it and fell in love with the line.

From hair to face to body Billy has put together a great selection of products. They are gentle to the skin, not too fragrant and they work.

I live in a part of Europe now where they are not available so I have friends bring them over for me.

Doesn't foam if put on a loofa. But I still like it. It smells nice and is good for shaving.

My friend introduced Billy Jealousy to me and am I glad. The first time I used this, I got compliments from three women asking what I was wearing, no kidding. I use a quarter size amount and it lathers up so much enough to wash my entire body. It rinses off clean and leaves a light great smelling scent. The scent is not overwhelming and doesn't smell like a stick of underarm deodarant like other men's body wash. It's a little more expensive compared to store body wash, but I'm happy with it and think it's well worth it.

Always loved Sebastian products, never once have I've been disappointed and the conditioner is no exception.

I use it under a heating cap so it penetrate the hair shaft and I can get the maximum results..

Too bad it is no longer sold in stores but I'm happy Amazon sells it. The price is right and I even have my co-workers feeling my hair softness.

I have used this for years and have been getting compliments for years on how shiny my hair is. I always recommend this and everyone who has used it now swears by it. I will add it is heavy when you put on, but with normal rinsing it comes right out, no conditioner left to weigh down hair...just luxurious hair that is shiny and manageable.
