I just ordered my 3rd bottle. There was a short period of time where I stopped using it (about 1-2 months) and began using a different face wash and oh boy did my face become an uncontrollable mess. I went right back to my usual routine 2x day and my face is starting to clear up. It has a nice light grapefruity scent and little scrubbing beads so your face feels refreshed and clean w/o having to scrub off 2 layers of skin. For over a year, I have been buying this product every 1 1/2 months. While I still get acne breakouts even with the product, I get maybe 1-3 new breakouts a day on average vs several or over a dozen new breakouts per day when I used other products. I was on dermatologist prescribed kits that cost a fortune and tried a few different antibiotics, and it did not seem to work. I love this product.

I love this soap and I have found that my dry skin is not dried out by this salty soap. I first bought this in a discount store. I know I want to continue using this so I am very happy to find that Amazon has it available. Surprisingly, the description says to avoid your face, but I specifically use the bar on my face without any issue. I've been using this soap for over a year and I love it!

I am a big fan of the Ahava Mud Bar Soap and didn't expect to love this one as much, but I prefer it now that it's cold out. The soap is very mild but lathers well. I use it with exfoliating gloves. It is actually very moisturizing and I started to notice a difference after 3 days of use. My skin feels smoother. Very nice. I love the mud bar during the hot months but it didn't help my dry skin once winter hit. I'm glad I switched to this. I also use it on my face, despite the dire warning and have had no issues. This stuff is unreal. I have medium long hair that I "torture" with a blow dryer and sometimes curling or flat iron daily. It is also now being colored. My hair has become very dry, particularly the ends. I've tried many so-called hair masks, a tons of special shampoos and conditioners, and different treatments, including those calling themselves "miracles in a jar" practically. I received a sample of Marula oil from another company and I liked it a lot, however the price for a very small bottle was $78. I don't think that it absorbs into your skin as quickly as the more expensive product although when i apply it at night by morning my skin is dry and non-oily. i dont use it during the day under makeup because of the absorption issue. But the biggest difference that caught my attention was the scent. The $78 Marula oil smelled nice and reminded me of a spa. The Shea Terra product smells like a toasted nut. Overall I think it is a good product for the price and it is a fairly large bottle.

I've become a marula oil believer after trying Leakey Collection's marula oil, which did wonders for my skin. Marula oil has smoothed out my complexion, made my skin softer, pores smaller, *and* actually helped with my acne. I'd have a lot of bumps + pimples on my forehead, but miraculously enough, it reduced those bumps and didn't exacerbate the pimples.

Since Leakey Collection's marula oil is so friggin' overpriced, it's inevitable customers like you and I needing to find a cheaper option. Alas, there's Shea Terra Organics marula oil: it's the same thing at the fraction of the price only reservation customers seem to have is the scent, but it's a very light, nutty smell that becomes unnoticeable after 10 minutes.

Slap it on your face overnight, and that's all you really need. It says you can add it to your lotions, face washes, and all of that, but applying it once a night seems to have worked for me.

I like this product so far, but I've only used it about 2 weeks, so I'm not sure how effective it will be long term, thus only 4 stars for now. However, I feel like it is hydrating and smoothing to my decolletage. I also use it on my face and mix it with my body lotion for generally dry skin. I find the Marula oil to be very light, absorbing easily. For my face, I use a few drops, warm it in my hands and press to the skin. I wait a minute and then apply my regular cream.

BUT, I saved the best for last...this oil has the most delicious roasted coffee bean fragrance. Yum! The odor evaporates within a minute or two, so those with sensitivities don't need to worry about the smell lingering, but it is lovely while it lasts!

I can't believe nobody had write a review for this anti-hair loss treatment. The Alter EGO Curativ Ego Cren have more reviews and it doesn't work as well as the Intensive Lotion. I'm not usually one to rave about a moisturizer, they all pretty much do the same thing. Most just sit on the skin giving it a "slick" appearance that isn't too attractive. This product is just wonderful. You don't rub it in, you glide it over your face with & let it soak in. You can make-up your eyes while this is going on; that's what I do. Then put on your foundation, if you wear it, & gorgeous! Natural, smooth looking, like velvet with out the greasy appearance. Hope they NEVER stop making it!

It is a very runny texture, which makes it not easy to use. I also didn't feel like it did what the product claims to do. Used it a couple times and never tried it again.

Murad Murad Man Face Defense SPF 15 ( 3 Hydrate/Protect ) Facial Treatment Products

This product was suggested for use because I have dry skin and travel frequently (further drying out my skin). I have had great success using the Murad Man product for several months. Tried a couple other men's moisturizers but did not like those products as well. This one does not feel 'greasy' and is especially needed in the dry winter months. My understanding is some products work well for certain skin types but may not work well for others. If you are looking for a daily moisturizer I would give this one a try well worth the price.

As for the product itself, it's great. Unlike other products such as those you might find from neutrogena (very dry feel) or say Bananna Boat (sticky), this product feels light, leaves you skin with a nice texture, has a plesent scent for a man's product and actually feels comfortable on your face (big surprize here). Without a doubt this is the best everyday sunblock I've used and it also happend to be the sunblock recommended by my dermatologist (granted she works for Murad).

Note that this is an everyday sunblock and I would never recommend this for a setting such as the beach. But considering that it's an everyday sunblock, why is it $33.00 for 2oz? That's about a months' worth of covering your face and neck which can amount to around $400 a year. Seriously?

Considering the price, I might go with something like "Cetaphil Fragrance Free Daily Facial Moisturizer, SPF 15" for everyday wear which will literally give you twice as much for half the price, but if money is no object I would go with this Murad product. If you're looking for a beach day product, don't bother with this. Go with something like bull frog.

I have literally tried 100 different cleansers but this one is my last. It has a thick creamy consistency but rinses off completely leaving my skin really clean, soft and glowing. It is thick and creamy like lotion and a little goes a LONG way. I thought it would break my face out because it seemed so heavy. I was wrong. I felt a difference the minute I washed it off of my face. My face was hydrated and smooth. There was no residue and it felt clean and soft. It was wonderful not to have the oily forehead and crimson dried blotches on my face. It worked in one application and my skin has only gotten better in the last week of using it.

My mom has sensitive skin like me so I let her use some of mine. She couldn't believe the difference it made. Her bathroom cabinet was littered with every cleanser made and she threw all of them away. The day after I loaned her mine she called to inform me that she visited every Rite Aid in the area and bought out their stock of Skin Apetit that was on clearance. lol Now we both have six bottles in our private stock.

I haven't tried anything else from their line. I plan on trying them in the near future. If the line is half the quality of their cleanser then I will be using it. The price may seem a little steep but I will buy it even after my clearance stock is used. It is that good. This is the first time EVER that I haven't had to use moisturizer (after cleansing) to get soft skin. I love it!

i really like this product. I originally got 3 bottles at a Duane Reade that was on clearance for aprx $3 per bottle. I have only bought 2 other bottles (thru Amazon) because it's so expensive. It's great because of the ingredients, and you can maneuver it all over your eye's too, as a massage facial.

This is a wonderful soap-free wonderful cleanser. I have just had two babies and am now 36. I have felt like my skin was just 'looking old'. I have problem skin, oily, dry, blemish prone, very uneven skintone. This product feels wonderful to use with the very gentle exfoliating (perfect for daily use) and healing properties of Tea Tree. I gave some to my mother (56) and she has also fallen in love with the products this company has to offer. I know Zhen has cosmetic for primarily Asian women, (my mother and I are not Asian) but their skincare line is for anyone wanting beautiful skin!

Let me begin by telling you I have shoulder length naturally curly hair which frizzes out to a mop the minute it hits any humidity. I spent highschool and college hours and hours trying to tame it. Most recently using a straightener daily but if I should get it wet by weather or workout it would just start frizzing and curling again. And yes, I have tried leave in products that promise no frizz.

I was going to ask a friend to help me apply the mixture and straighten my hair with the straightener but no one was avaialble so I did it myself. Here's what happened:

Application was fairly easy except I noticed caustic fumes that irritated my throat and eyes. Once I coated my whole head of hair I decided to spend the next 40 minutes of wait time outside as I felt very affected by the fumes.

Once wait time was over I blew dry the lotion in my hair which again stirred up the fumes. I kept putting my face near an open window as my eyes and throat were extrememly affected.

I then partitioned my hair as directed and used my straightener at 450 degrees. I made sure that I went over areas several times and tried very hard to make sure I got everything very straight. During this procedure my hair did give off smoke and fumes and at times caused me to need to put a towel over my face. Still....I was almost done.

I waited the full 72 hours before I washed my hair and conditioned with the included conditioner and then again with my own to make sure it got plenty of remoisturizing.

I brushed my wet hair out, no blow dry, no touch ups.

I woke up the next day and not only was my hair extrememly straight, it was the shiniest and softest it has been in a long time. I went to work and even got comments. I don't know how long it will last but if it lasts 2 months I may suffer the process again.

I have had my hair straightened in the salon with the Japanese process and it took a year to overcome the damage and took $200 out of my pocket. This was much less. I would recomend wearing a scarf or mask over your mouth and nose to avoid the fumes, though.

I bought this online after spending $350 at the salon for a Keratin treatment. After doing a ton of research, I found that the worst damage I could do, would be a really hot hair straigtening so I decided to give it a shot. This product worked fantastic! It got my natural wavy hair straight, thicker, and fuller. I don't even have to blowdry it. It takes a while, and is good for a Sunday afternoon. It's worth every penny for those extra hours of sleep from lack of having to do my hair. It even holds the curl better when I want to make waves with a curling iron.

I used this instead of paying $250 to get a salon Brazilian blowout, and I thought it worked really good. I have short hair, which may have helped, but I just followed the instructions and made sure I had a flat iron that gets to at least 450 degrees. I used it about 4 weeks ago, and my hair is just starting to get wavy again. I wash my hair every day and also swim, so I think you could prolong the results by washing your hair less often. All in all I thought it gave me a good result and I will purchase again.

I bought this and used it for about 4-treatments.

I am african american and for my hair it lasts about a month.

It doesn't get as straight as when I went to the salon, but it was doable.

I don't like the idea of using this every month and have purchased another product.

The first time I followed the instructions and washed my hair, then dryed and then applied.

It only lasted about 3 weeks.

The 2nd, 3rd & 4th time, I did it like my salon and applied it after I rinsed out the shampoo and then dryed my hair.

These lasted longer, but I have ordered another product to see if it will last longer (3-months like the salon).

I used this product for the first time at the end of August. I actually saw a big difference in my hair, it was really shinny and soft. It reduced the frizziness of the hair and it doesn't get as puffy as it did before. But the results only lasted about 3 weeks and the product says that the results could last up to 3 months. I did read that the more you use the product the longer the results are and the better the results get. So we'll see how it goes. I recommend this product if you are looking for an alternative for an expensive brazilian blowout!
