The smell is good and the price was decent. I did do a little trickery though and used one of her fancy Disney bottles and replenish it with Suave. Kid couldn't tell the difference.

This 2-in-1 shampoo has a pleasant, fresh strawberry smell. It's not the super sweet fake smell that often comes in children's shampoos. I have sensitive skin and tried using this on myself on a whim and found that it works well on adult hair too! :) Now I use it daily and it leaves my hair soft and very lightly scented.

EO Everyday Shampoo for Normal Hair, French Lavender, 8.4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)

this stuff is fantastic, and let me start off by saying I'm a man. I bought some EO lavender bubble bath for a sexy date night for my gf at the time (fiance now). So relaxing! Close the door, dim the light, pop a bottle of bubbly and let the magic unfold. Fast forward about a year or 2. I was shopping at Marshals home store and I saw a 32 oz bottle for around 14-17 bucks. I bought both the lavender and mint/rosemary version of the product. Both were great. Only problem is my fiance kept using, ie stealing the lavender :)

Low and behold I was out before I knew it. I swear I search Marshals for the next 2 months and no avail. I missed my shampoo. Now let me state right here and now, I was that guy who just bought whatever was on sale at the grocery....but this stuff, its great. Hair felt amazing, and my significant other loved the way it smelled, it was a win win. I searched the internet far and wide or another deal, but nothing. I mean I found it, but it was an arm and a leg. So I finally gave in and bought this 3 bottle deal with amazon and saved another 15% by signing up for their subscription service. Bottom line, buy this stuff, your hair will thank you and your significant other will love the smell, assuming she likes the lavender scent. The mint and rosemary was great too, and I would have bought that again but it was a bit pricier so I just went with this. Buy it, treat yourself.

Oh and on a side note, I have a ever so slowly receding hairline, and I'm not making scientific claims here but I felt like this might have slowed the process. Noticed lots less hair in my hands after lathering in there. Again, maybe this is all in my head, but I'm sold on it.

I bought the shampoo and conditioner for one reason only the intoxicating, lovely scent of lavender! I have long, thick, curly hair and the shampoo created a pretty good lather, but it left my hair feeling stripped and dry. The conditioner didn't feel very moisturizing. I kept putting more and more on, but it felt like there was nothing on my hair. When I rinsed it out, my hair didn't feel soft; it felt like it had a coating on it, but was still pretty dry. After I got out of the shower, I shook my head back and forth and couldn't even smell the lavender at all.

I will be returning both the shampoo and conditioner to Whole Foods, where I bought them.

PS The lavender coconut hair styling cream works great, but you can't smell the lavender once it's in your hair, which is why I bought it.

I bought this shampoo, and the conditioner that goes with it, because lavender is a favourite fragrance. The shampoo is a fraction more drying than I'd like, and the conditioner (which I admit I don't leave in) is a little bit less effective than I'd like. And the fragrance, which is wonderful on application, doesn't last. Having said all of which I still like the product because my hair and scalp feel clean and fresh, and I don't get the claggy, heavy kind of feeling that some conditioners leave one with.

This facial cleansing cream is my favorite, comparable to mega-priced formulas for cleansing clogged pores. I use it daily to keep pore dirt from turning to clogged pores. I think it's the zeolite "power stone" that deep cleans, and the hyaluronic acid that softens. Leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse. I never need those pore-cleaning strips anymore. I'm 60 years old with normal skin. This cleanser is not drying, and it leaves my skin soft, needing no moisturizer. This is a product for someone who wants to take care of their face, not let it go all to blackheads and then expect a miracle, so consider this a "daily use" product.

The oils are terrific--I used Thieves while caring for one of my kids who had a body-fluids-spewing flu and was not infected, though usually I am, despite all normal precautions, i.e. rubber gloves for cleaning, handwashing and so forth. The stories about Gary Young and the baby are a red herring: Quackwatch has its version of who is is, or was, and his website another version but the products speak for themselves. Having used a number of the oils, I can say they are indeed high quality and Thieves is really extraordinary for hand sanitation, and feels a lot better on the skin than alcohol or regular hand purifier. Anyone with kids who cleans up after a vomiting or diarrhea episode--to be graphic--either has hands dryer than paper and cracked or uses Thieves.

I have been using Young Living essential oils since June of 2000 and have only had incredibly positive experiences. As some have mentioned in previous reviews, I DID my research and also tried other essential oils along the way that did not hold a candle to Young Living's purity and therapeutic grade. In fact, they stunk! I could smell the chemicals in them.

All brands stated they were 100% organic and pure on the bottle. One I tried actually burned my skin when applied topically. Later I came to discover that MOST essential oils on the market today are processed with harmful chemicals to increase the batch amount for more sales. These types of essential oils can only be used for aromatherapy NOT topically or internally like individually stated on Young Living's labels. This ultimately proves the HUGE quality difference.

However, the real proof is in using/experiencing YL essential oils for yourself. After testing many essential oils side by side, the differences are quite obvious. In my opinion, these low grade essntial oils are not worthy of smelling for aromatherapy either since the smell goes directly to the brain. Who wants harmful chemicals going to their brain not me!

Personally, I use Young Living oils daily to maintain an optimum immune system along with diffusing various essential oils in my home to kill airborne bacteria/viruses. And my health and home environment are outstanding. It is a rarity for me to be sick or even get a cold. Now that is quality!

I hesitated to purchase Young Living Essential oils because of their price, but I will say that there is definitely something different about this product than other essential oils I have used. They are more potent and seem to my amateur senses to be very pure, without being overpowering in scent. I am a retired nurse who is learning about aromatherapy and Healing Touch with animals and humans and have used most of these oils with my family, which includes a menagerie of animals. Valor in a diffuser is very calming to all our creatures, and I mix peppermint and lavender for a calming, uplifting effect. This is an awesome moisturizer. My skin can get red and irritated after too much product use, and this provides a rich moisturizer that calms my skin overnight. If you skin gets so sensitive even water bothers it, this is the product to use.

The skin on my face is ultra sensitive. For the past 30 years, I have been unable to have anything but hydrocortisone cream touch my skin. I have only found two lotions that I can wear on top of the hydrocortisone. Of course, the dermatologist kept warning me against the long term effects of hydrocortisone use, but any of his solutions had the same result--itchy peeling rash within a few days. I have very sensitive skin and I'm prone to peeling and breakouts. I didn't find this moisturizer very easy to absorb. It sat on my skin like a sunscreen. It wasn't very soothing when my skin felt raw or irritated and it didn't protect my skin from feeling irritated when it was particularly hot or cold. I can't really see the point in spending so much to get subpar results. Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream, Grape Water Extract, Vitamin E, 1.70-Fluid Ounce was very absorbent and pretty cheap in comparison, but I think I'll probably go back to one of the Bioelements moisturizers they've always worked best for me and worth the cost.

I love most of the EO products that I have tried, and I have used their Peppermint & Tea Tree hand soap and several different flavor variations of their shower gels and bubble baths almost exclusively for the past 4 years.

I bought this peppermint hand sanitizer from their own site two years ago and I used it on several occasions, but each time, the skin on the backs of my hands developed a rash pretty quickly afterwards, and this was the only thing that could have caused that.

I do not have that reaction to peppermint on its own, nor to EO's Peppermint & Tea Tree hand soap, nor to alcohol on its own, so I'm not sure what was the cause.

Also, I found that this hand sanitizer spray evaporated so quickly that I'd have trouble getting it on all parts of my hands while the product was still moist enough to spread.

However, it's a great idea and the product smells lovely, and I'm sure most people can use it without a problem.

Blue Lizard Pure Australian Sorbolene Cream

I have tried so many creams and moisturizers for my feet (heels very dry and scaly) and for my daughter's legs (very dry and ashy in the winter), nothing ever worked, especially long term. I heard about this cream from my dermatologist (he wasn't trying to sell it to me--doesn't carry it in his office). The first thing I have to say is that when I opened the jar, the smell was wonderful. In fact, my daughter (4 years old) and I kept smelling it for the 1st week because we thought it was so yummy! I read the other post regarding the smell--I guess it is all up to the individuals smell receptors. I found it to be very mild and clean smelling--no cloying perfume smells. After using it for the first time, there was an immediate result. It is so thick and luxurious. It doesn't completely rub into your skin (which has always been the problem with other products). It leaves a protective, soft barrier over your skin that lasts for awhile. It is not greasy or sticky. This is all I use now. I put it on my heels every night, as well as my daughters legs, and everyone is silky smooth! It is expensive, but it lasts a long time as a small dollop does the trick--you don't need to use that much. I highly recommend this cream.

How I wish I discovered sorbolene cream much earlier. This is the best moisturizing cream I've ever used on my face and neck. In cold and warm weather, my skin remains smooth and moisturized. Sadly disappointed. The UltraCalming Mist is Dermalogica's weak replacement for the Soothing Protection Spray. I don't like it. The problem is the two products are nothing alike. To call it a replacement is plain wrong. Not only does it not hydrate my face it dry's it out just like every other product I used prior to finding the Soothing Protection Spay! Yes, the old product had an oily residue which I found locked in the moisture while locking out the pollutants that irritated my skin. To add insult to injury UltraCalming Mist is only 6oz! That's two oz shorter than the Soothing Protection Spray it replaced but at the same price! Way to stick to your customers Dermalogica.

I've been using the wet cloths for years. It never irritates your skin and cleans the face well. I like to alternate between non-soap facial cleanser, Olay dry cloths, and the Olay wet cloths. Olay wet cloths are very practical. Just apply and throw away, so simple. Each one contains plenty of cleanser and wetness and so safe and gentle for the skin. If I want to keep my skin blemish free, I use non-soap cleanser and all of Olay products. I really like the wet cloths.

I am a 42 year old female who has very dry skin, all year round. In the past, I have used creme cleanser to wash my face (from Aveda, Almay, etc.) and it always felt very tight afterwards. Then, I would use my moisturizer and over moisturize to help with the tighness, which just ended up making my face feel a bit greasy. And, every day and night, repeat this process. My face was so dry that it even flaked!

I decided to try this product as I was looking for something easier and more effective. I first purchased this in my local drugstore. After my first use, I noticed that my skin didn't feel tight it just felt clean. And, I didn't need half as much moisturizer afterwards. After a week of usage, my overall skin eveness and complexion improved noticeably!

I have been using this product for 5 years now and love it. This is basically a pack of 30 wipes. It lays on its side, and you pull up this plastic flap in the front to view a hole in the middle of the pack where you pull out one of the wipes (just like you would a baby wipe or a tissue). You reseal the hole with the flap to keep the product air tight and keep it moist.

With this wipe (it's the size of a standard tissue), you just wipe your face with it. It removed all of your makeup and oil, but doesn't overstrip your skin which is great. When you are done, you just throw the wipe in the garbage it's that simple. And, because it's in this sealed package, it's very portable you can throw this package in your purse and use it to freshen up anywhere.

I prefer this product the one for Sensitive skin as there is almost no smell to it. But, the product for normal skin is also good same thing except it has a smell to the product and seems to be a bit stronger in terms of cleaning. I only order that when I can't get the Sensitive skin I have now started to order this from Amazon in quantities of 20 so that I never run out.

In summary, I love this product and highly recommend it.

For years I have been using Clinique, and a few years back I felt it was not longer the best product for my skin. I stared trying several brands. My skin is dry and very sensitive, and most products give me some form of allergy in my skin after using them for a while. I recently try this product and is doing wonders for my skin. I use it every day before going to bed. I start feeling the diference after a few days of use. My skin is not longer dry, and my makeup allergies have been less and less, with every time I use this skin care. I'm currently using it with the Creme-Mousse Confort Comforting Cleanser Creamy Foam by Lancome. And the combination is perfect, and smells very good.

I bought this for my daughter. I don't know the result yet but it seems working okay. So for it doesn't have any allergic reaction. The opening is too big, I have to be very careful not to pour out too much liquid.

AVEDA Brilliant Shampoo 8.5 fl oz/250 ml

I have naturally curly hair. I also have a lot of hair, but my hair is fine. I have found that this product cleans my hair really well without drying it out or making it frizzy! A little goes a long way.

This product smells awesome, which is another reason I love using it as well.

I DID NOT purchase from this seller, but I have used this product for about 2+ years and love it! It makes my hair smooth and lay flat without having to put any additional product in it.

I tend to believe that it's the conditioner that goes with this that does all the work of smoothing the hair. But either way they both work amazingly!

Neutrogena Wave Sonic Power Cleanser with 14 Foaming Pads

I've been taking care of my face diligently for the past few years and have gone through several types of cleansers. This was my first time trying any kind of electrical solution, and while all-in-all I prefer plain ol' cleanser and water, I found the Sonic Cleanser fun to use. (By the way, 'sonic' has nothing to do with sound as far as I can tell, it's more of a catch-word. The device just spins, at 2 speeds.)

Pros:

Feels nice, like a mini massage.

Easy to use: stick on the pad, run under the water, start it spinning, move over the face. When finished, remove the pad and throw it away, rinse the face.

Waterproof, you can stick the whole thing under running water and not worry about it.

The price of the main part is pretty good.

Cons:

14 pads won't last you long, you will definitely need replacement pads. It looks like basic replacement pads are 30 for about $5. That's not too bad, just a bit more expensive per use compared with face cleanser + a towel (+ cotton rounds + witch hazel). You may want to wash your face twice a day, but I recommend using this just once a day. (This point isn't so much of a con as something you will want to consider.)

The pads have a lot of soap on them, way more than the face needs, and it feels like a waste. I use the rest up on my hands.

Even on the lower setting, it's rough on sores, and scrapes off the healing skin.

The pads catch on my hair, the hair then gets caught in the spinning part.

The instructions could be better, i.e. they don't tell you how often to use it, how hard to press, or how fast to move it across your face to get the best results.

To cover some other issues I've seen in other reviews: Yes, it cleans my face. No, it doesn't leave pieces of pad behind. If I turn the device on and shake it off before using it (after rinsing) it doesn't drip down my face. After rinsing and applying moisturizer (Gold Bond Ultimate lotion) my face did not feel dry. The scent was not strong for me. I had no problems cleaning all areas of my face and neck.

I have tried just 1 other type of cleaning pad and I found this option more practical. I don't wear makeup typically so I can't say anything about how this works with removal.

Overall, I like using the Sonic Power Cleanser occasionally, but it's not something I really need or will invest much in. The cost of the replacement pads will add up, and it's just one more thing to store in my bathroom. You have to ask yourself, do I really need this?

The ease-of-use and relatively inexpensive price (of the initial package) make it a fun thing to try out and a good gift idea.

My first wave was the original which I loved because it made my skin feel so clean and fresh when I used it with the blemish pads. My wave broke and I went out and bought this one to try it. I was very disappointed. This one cost me even more than the original...even with a coupon. In my opinion, the spinning plate didn't have much power in it. It didn't give my face that fresh feeling. It cleaned my face well, but I may as well just use a scrub. Nothing special for my face. Unfortunately I will be returning it.

I'm a 34 year-old man who is not ashamed to use Neutrogena products. Even ones that are pink and look kind of like epilators, as long as they work. And I'm no stranger to a decent product to keep breakouts away.

That all being said, the Wave Sonic is kind of an odd duck. I was expecting more of a pulsating motion, but the pads spin. And they spin pretty fast on the low setting, and ridiculously fast on the high setting. It almost feels like this was developed for the laziest people on Earth, rather than serving a useful purpose that can't be accomplished with a plain Neutrogena cleansing pad in the shower.

If you're a guy, you'll need to take special care when using the Wave Sonic. If you have even the slightest bit of facial hair, the pads get torn up almost immediately, and leave a cottony mess. And by "slightest bit", I'm not taking about five o'clock shadow. I mean "you'd better use this almost immediately after shaving.

Other than that though, even the replacement pads are fairly cheap, and if you're getting them here on Subscribe & Save, they're even cheaper. I was really surprised to see that they cost less than the old-fashioned "use it in your hands" Neutrogena 2-In-1 Foaming Pads that I normally use.

I got one of these for my wife, but decided to give it a try too so I could write a review. I have skin too, so hey, why not right? So, here's my experience with this Wave Sonic Power Cleanser:

First of all, the foaming pads stick on easily, and the device is super-easy to use. There's an on/off button, and a button to turn it to a higher speed. That's it. Throw some warm water on your face, stick a pad on the device, and scrub away. Easy-peasy.

It feels nice. You know the difference between brushing your teeth with a regular toothbrush versus using an automatic toothbrush like a SoniCare? It's the same thing, but for washing your face. The pad vibrates gently as you move it over your face. It's a little abrasive so it scrubs at the same time. It's basically like washing your face with a tiny, slightly rough, soaped up vibrating washcloth. For guys, I think this would be best to use right after shaving.

In terms of design, the device has an easy grip and is easy to use. My wife mentioned that she wishes it came with some sort of holder or stand for when you're not using it. Right now you just have to kinda sit it on the edge of the sink or the tub, which she's not wild about. A simple stand or holder would have been a definite plus.

The pads are disposable. That's good and bad. Good you don't have to wash them out. Bad you're on the hook to keep buying new ones. They're not super expensive, but it's still an ongoing expense, if you care about that sort of thing.

All in all, I like this thing. I really just got it for my wife and wanted to use this once to write the review, but I could see myself grabbing it once in a while. The only features I'm not wild about are the lack of a stand or holder, and the fact that you have to keep buying pads. Aside from those, I love it and so does my wife!

I used this all last summer, morning and night, and it made my skin very nearly perfect.

I don't recommend using the Neutrogena pads, though. They work okay, but I got much better results using my Aveeno Skin Brightening Scrub. CVS makes plain pads that fit the Neutrogena Wave--they should be right next to the Neutrogena pads on the shelf. I'm sure any thick cotton rounds would work.

I sadly left mine at home when I went back to school and my skin got horrible again in a month. But I just got a new one and I can't wait for my skin to be all nice again!
