I am a believer in Neutrogena. I use these towelettes and their face scrubtwo of my favorite face cleaning products on the market. These are quick and convenientvery handy to take with you on vacation, especially if you're flying! I can use them with ease even on my thick, heavy mascara! Comes off like a charm. If you use it too much and have dry skin, you will be a little irritated though. It does contain some drying agents so be aware and prepared for that.

If you have that problem, toner is a great way to combat it. Not alcohol based toner though!! That will dry you out worse. I've found my best results to be with a scented rose petal toner that contains aloe vera -Witch Hazel Rose Petal Toner with Aloe Vera + FREE Retinol Cream. Aloe vera = moisture = no dry skin. Plus it not only does using toner help with removing make up, it actually clears beneath the surface too!!

I haven't tried many make-up removers before, I usually just go with soap and water. These weren't too bad. They removed all my make-up, including mascara and eyeliner. I didn't get that raccoon look that you usually get when you try to remove mascara, which was great.

The packs are resealable which is nice, it keeps the towelettes moist. The thing I didn't like about them was as another reviewer remarked, they do leave a slight film on your face. An almost greasy feeling. Also, if I got any of it in my eyes, they would slightly burn.

I always did a thorough rinse with water after using them, which took the residue off, but the fact that it left the residue (and slightly irritated my eyes), is what made me give this product 3 stars.

I've used the Almay makeup remover pads (the ones in the small round container) for years. And they have slowly gotten more expensive. So for awhile I switched to gauze pads and an eye-makeup remover solution. Eh it worked, but I didn't love it like I did the Almay pads. Then, I stumbled across the Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes. I'm hooked. They are big enough that you can wash your entire face with them and still have a section available to take off your eye makeup (waterproof liner and mascara!) They have a wonderful lavender smell. (I suppose if you don't like lavender you may not like these.) I gave one to my daughter one night because I wanted her to try a new eyeliner, and she came back later and said, "can I have some of those for Christmas?" I will admit they are not cheap. But, the 2 pack of 25 means it lasts me 2 months (there are usually at least a couple days I go without makeup), and I get them on the Subscribe & Save, so it's an even better deal. I like how soft these leave my face, without that sticky or greasy feeling many of the other facial cleaners have. I keep these sitting in my basket next to the couch, take off my makeup as I am finishing up work emails for the night, then rinse my face with water when I go to bed. Great item very happy I found it.

I had hoped that this would be good, refreshing toner minus the harsh alcohol that is so common in most astringents. I had wanted something that would clear away makeup and oil residue without feeling I needed to wash off another cleanser-type product but also without drying and irritating my skin. Unfortunately, as refreshing as it smells from the open bottle, it left behind an odd, sticky residue that I couldn't even remove with a regular alcohol-based astringent. I had to turn back to the sink and rewash my face to get rid of the residue. I already have problem skin; I don't need a skincare product clogging my pores any more than they are on their own. If anyone has a different experience please let me know.

Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.77 Ounce

This is similar to the Neutrogena 2% salicylic acid face wash I've been using for quite some time. But, after using both, I prefer the Biore.

Both have the same concentration of salicylic acid (2%) which is the active acne fighting ingredient. Both are very thick just a small amount is needed to get a good lather. And both require caution against overuse since the salicylic acid can be rough on your skin if you use it too often. I find that once a day with the occasional skipped day works for me.

Where the Biore pulls ahead is in the scent and how it makes my face feel after using it. The Neutrogena does not smell bad it basically smells like soap. The Biore has a fresher scent that is more botanical in nature, and my face feels cool after using it. I expect the latter is due to the inclusion of menthol in the Biore.

I can't fault either in terms of results and performance, but the Biore is more enjoyable to use. Highly recommend.

I've used this cleanser for a month now and here are the results:

1. My skin does feel cleaner and looks better. I did break out a couple of times due to hormonal changes; however, it was not as much as usual.

2. Do not use this product more than once a day it will DRY your skin out! It is not a gentle cleanser. The right balance for me was using it before going to bed and then applying a moisturizer after.

3. You are not supposed to use other topical acne medications with this, per the instructions on the back, or your skin will become irritated. It contains 2% salycic acid.

While I'm not displeased with the results, I don't know if I will use this in the long term. It seems harsher than what I should be applying to my skin.

I only need a very small dot of this cleanser to clean my face and it feels great on my skin. It has a nice, fresh scent that I quite like. Seems to be effective too. It really helps with oily skin, and calms irritated spots as well. It has become my favorite face cleanser in just a few short weeks!

Product has the requisite acne-fighting ingredient, and the "iciness" is subtle enough to be pleasant...it probably helps open the pores a bit to let in the active ingredient salicylic acid. The pump is convenient, and the container size is ideal (I find most pump soaps too skimpy; at nearly 7 ounces, this bottle is just right).

BUT.

The texture--the VISCOUSITY--however, is pretty obnoxious. It is difficult to wash off, requiring a great deal of rinsing before one feels one has gotten it all OFF. It's roughly like pancake syrup.

Which is perhaps what some people really like, and would describe the feeling as "rich."

For my part, I've given up using it as a soap, but find it acceptable...as a shaving gel.

While it does remove eye make-up (liquid eyeliner, pencil eyeliner, mascara) very well, the residue from the towelette stayed on my lashes and stung my eyes. Sensitivity to the product? Maybe, IDK but it was painful!

This is perfect for removing makeup or just a quick refresher.There is a bit of a sting if you put it on broken skin, but I'm assuming that's the "brightening" aspect of it. I really like this shampoo! I have psoriasis on my scalp and usually use shampoos that dry out my hair quite a bit. I do have an oily scalp and was afraid that the moisturizing aspect of the shampoo would just make me a greasy mess, I don't usually buy moisturizing shampoo or conditioner (when I buy regular shampoos for when my psoriasis is calm).

The shampoo combined with the conditioner would surely make me greasy, right? Nope! My hair is soft, nice and shiny. I was using Dove's Moisturizing Shampoo/Conditioner. It did a good job with having soft hair, but I was having snow storms of dandruff and lots of hair breakage to a point I pick off ten plus hairs off my when I got out of the shower and throughout the day. Also, with the dandruff, after the owner of my workplace (who can be very picky on appearance, down to one flake of dandruff) walked in and seeing the amount of dandruff on my black uniform, I said "That's it!"

The results were immediate on the spot. 75% of the flakes were gone, my scalp showed major improvements, and my hair was shiny, smooth, and soft (even though I use the Suave Keratin Serum as well, this made it go from bleh to SWEET ZOMBIE JESUS THAT'S GOOD!). The nice scent of shea was relaxing and nice, and it lasted too. I walked into work the next day (I wash my hair every other day) and a co-worker grabbed me and said "Why do you smell sooooooo good?! I want that!" So, told her it was my new shampoo/conditioner.

And as for my black work uniform, I have not had to brush off flakes or pluck ten plus hairs off me!

My hair has never felt better. I wash it every other day, and focus on the scalp a wee bit more so that I know it's doing its job. I only use a hair straightener (with a heat protection spray) on the lowest heat setting and my hair still feels and smells amazing. A male friend of mine also has the exact same problem as me and he will be getting some today to help him out (I told him they had a mens line he can look into).

Get it! Trust me, you won't be sorry. You want a happy scalp and hair at the same time, get this. I'm not regretting it now. :)

I have dry middle-aged woman hair and have pretty much been using the same hair products for years never thinking that any other products in this price range would do a better job but I was wrong. I love these. I use all the scents: orange, lemon and mint are my favorites, though eucalyptus is great for winter. These are very refreshing for a quick hand wash any time, any place. I keep some in the fridge during the summer, where they are a quick respite coming in from the heat. In the winter, the eucalyptus over a cup of steaming tea or water is really refreshing and helps clear congestion. I especially like that the scents are derived from essential oils, not chemicals. I was thrilled when I found these moist towelettes. The only ingredients are water, peppermint essential oil, and tween 20 which is a non-toxic detergent. The peppermint essential oil is naturally antibacterial. I keep some of these in my purse, my car, my husband's car, and at home. I also like the lemon ones Herban Essentials Lemon Towelettes. I don't like the lavendar ones, because I'm just not a huge fan of lavendar.

It removes make-up, dirt and oil without drying my skin or leaving it with a too tight feeling. You can either rinse the lotion off with warm water or use a tissue to wipe it off. This product can certainly stand up to similar, more expensive products on the market today. Highly recommended!

Just as described, the Dove cleanser was quite foamy, which seemed to grow in seconds; however, I was hoping for a more creamy texture. The foam was excellent as a cleanser, but I had anticipated it to be abit heavier containing cream. It is a good purchase, though!

So I was anxious to see if I could get it here on Amazon and I'm delighted I can.

I'm not sure if my hair has gotten thicker, but it shines like crazy! I haven't colored my hair in about 2 months and aside from the roots, my hair looks totally healthy and natural. And a great shine! Light and fluffy feel even if I don't wash my hair every day.

This is positively the best shampoo I've ever used. I don't even need the conditioner!

Yes, it is costly, but you can avoid waste by adding some water to the shampoo. You have to be careful not to dump it all in your hand, but you won't be using as much shampoo as if you used it without the water. In other words, less waste and lasts longer.

I have tried many shampoos for baby fine thinning hair. Most don't do much, but I have rated this as a five star because it does give my hair extra volume. I've been using this product for at least a year.

This product does clean my hair very well and with about half of the amount of shampoo. As for volumizing, I am not sure what that is supposed to mean. My hair is a pretty short, low maintenance cut so if it's supposed to make it look like I have more hair then fat chance of that happening. It talks about T-sphere technology which is supposed to deliver the cleaning to the root of the hair. I can't tell you if it really does that or not, but it does seem to clean my hair very well and with half the amount of my previous shampoo. I've only used this for a week so I'll try to update this half way through the bottle and then when it's done. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Kronos shampoo has really made my thinning hair much more manageable, and the thinning is less. I've tried many other products through the years, but none have been as effective as Kronos.

This shampoo, while definitely expensive, is the best I've ever used. I bleach my hair, so it gets dry sometimes, but this shampoo adds moisture while also adding great volume. My hair is straight as a stick, but it takes and holds curl a lot better now. I highly recommend it. Like another customer, though, I definitely advise against ordering it on the special. One of the "extra" products that they sent along for me to try was horrible. I used the "leave-in" treatment overnight, and it was so strong that it burned my nostrils and all I could smell for two days was the smell of the product. I ended up plugging my nose with tissue and breathing through my mouth not attractive, but necessary! Stick with the shampoo and you'll be delightfully surprised!

I'm not a huge fan of toners because they tend to dry out my skin. But I love this. Removes all excess makeup or what have you and doesn't dry out my skin. If anything, my skin feels extra soft after using it. I'll definitely buy another bottle after finishing the one I currently have.
