Well I switched to this from my old faithful noxzema triple clean antibacterial. AT first I mixed a little of the noxzema in with this cus in the past I've found going cold turkey from a face product can be a big no no. Especially an antibacterial with triclosan in it... whic so many people are against because they are blinded by thier not completely backed up science and naturalism. Maybe it's that your face is addicted to the various agents in the product because beauty product companies want you to keep buying thier stuff. I can niether confirm nor deny that so I wont sit and talk conpiracy about it. Anyways the first few days I had it mixed with my noxzema and it was doing just fine. no new zits. Then after I stopped mixing with the noxzema and used just this product for a week or two. Around week 2 of using it along twice a day I had a horrible break out. The likes of which I havent seen in years since my acne was more severe. I also found that the "exfoliating" beads are too few and far between to have virtually any effect. I noticed no whitening but I'm sure it's because the whitening agent isnt that strong and I didnt use it long enough. All the negativity aside I LOVE LOVE LOVE how clean it makes my skin feel and the smell. So to this day I occasionally mix it with my noxzema for those purposes and my skin is doing fine. Not to mention i'm now seeing a little bit of whitening, but I'm using other whitening products so I don't know. Not a bad purchase at all and I'm sure it would work well on others with different skin types who arent faithful three year strong noxzemz users. Peace in the middle east. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Body Wash, 13.5 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 2)

Very luxurious bath soap. So far the best I have used yet and ive used them all. Some of the others are too heavy and leave a film on your body, some of them leave you dry and itchy. This one is fantastic. It is winter so I am not sure how it will be in the summer but I am pregnant and I need all the moisturizers I can get my hands on. This one is now my FAVORITE. Highly recommended.

And surprisingly enough it came unopened and intact. I was afraid in shipment it might explode or some such thing.

I am very partial to most of Palmer's products. I've only used this body wash for about a week now, and so far, I think it does an excellent job. I would recommend this product to anyone that may be on the fence. Will probably reorder when the time comes that I need more.

This is the best face oil ever. I love it because it melts into your skin and does not irritate it. It moisturizes and calms the delicate face and neck areas. Much more delicate an oil as compared to Argan oil. I have been a fan for some time.

I discovered this in the Mario Badescu salon in NYC where one of their reps suggested I use this for gentle exfoliation and summer acne flare ups. A bottle should last you more than a year if you use the right amount (a tiny dab per wash it lathers very well & glycolic acid is powerful stuff). Massage the lather thoroughly to allow the acid time to penetrate your skin. Use a little more if you have lots of makeup on. I tried DDF and other brands afterwards (of glycolic wash) and none measure up to Mario Badescu's. Your skin stays bright and fresh (from the non abrasive exfoliation), and the product just smells clean (not over perfumed or chemical laden). The glycolic toner will not last you as long, but is a good pairing if you have summer induced acne (minor t-zone/hairline). I recommend getting a salon consultation or reading up on their web page to gauge the frequency of use that is good for you. I consider this a bathroom cabinet staple, and in the fall/winter, I rotate use of it with a more moisturizing wash. Regardless of season, rinse well and always follow up with the right moisturizer for your skin.

When buying this I was skeptical to use everyday as it says its a Glycolic cleanser. I tried it anyway and within a week saw amazing results. I have a few old acne scars and some white spots/discoloration. After the first week of use (everyday), my face was bright and the scars were lightened and the discoloration was even! I couldn't beleive it. I continue to use everyday along with exfoliating pads to help with removing dead skin, to keep skin bright and even. The cleanser is gentle and has no smell. A small amount goes a long way and this will last a long time. I love this and will continue to use everyday!

This set is very interesting I cant get over how great they smell. I really like them both alot. I am for acne products right trying to find the one, and we all know how that goes. The gel works amazing and leaves the skin feeling smoothed and refreshed and not dry. Its also super easy to spread through the face and to wash off. I read about this in a beauty mag, and decided to try it. While they gave it glowing reviews, I find it just so-so. First, I was taken aback when I opened the package and found this tiny, tiny jar...smaller than the size of a hockey puck! But, you don't need much, so that may be why the package is small. I will say that it smells really great. As for how effective it is, this I'm not completely sold on: This mask is like any other drugstore mask I've used, and essentially tightens your face, leaving behind small chunks of cherry. Overall, it's overpriced and I likely won't buy it again.

NARS Makeup Cleansing Oil

I have been using cleansing oil by Shu Uemura and have been thoroughly happy. This is the holy grail of cleansing oils,

But when I got two deluxe sized samples of Nars Cleansing Oil -enough for a few days of washing, I was ready to put it to the test.

I wear very waterproof mascara and a full face of makeup: foundation, blush and eyeshadow. All are premium products, so they require a real good cleaner for removal. The Nars did not fare well at removing the waterproof eye makeup. And I had to use so much of it -much more than what need with the Shu.

It did not emulsify well at all. Dd not build up a nice lather like the Shu.

My skin did feel cleansed after I used it, and it did have a clean glow, The fragrance was also very light and pleasant (Origins Cleansing Oil has a strong, medicinal-floral fragrance that lingers)

Overall, I'd say that the Nars Cleansing Oil is average. Factor in the price, and it goes a notch down Shu Uemura is actually more expensive, but it is so much more effective. Especially if you wear waterproof cosmetics.

Good product and for an amazing price. Definitely up there with Mac and other name brand cleansing oils.

This is a highly effective product. I have oily sensitive skin, so I use a few drops of this before washing. It has dissolved every trace of makeup on my face every time. I had a domino mask of black eyeshadow and glitter, and this wiped it right off. It has also never made my normally sensitive eyes sting. Clarisonic Gentle Hydro Cleanser for Sensitive Skin, 6.0 Fluid Ounce

Just a few months ago (just after Summer 2012) Clarisonic added/removed a few ingredients from the previous Hydro Cleanser wash for sensitive skin to make this new formula. I was a bit reluctant to make the expensive purchase since my skin is so picky, but I bit the bullet anyway. I'm glad I did, as from what I can tell it works just as well as the old stuff if not better.

As a guy utilizing this with his hands (I don't have a Clarisonic), I did notice a few differences. this seems to apply a little more easily with a slightly more oily feeling. To me, it feels like I use a little less of it than when I used the old formula -meaning more bang for the buck! Also, it has a more pearl/cream color versus the old white, and it has a slight floral smell this time around. However, let me reiterate, it works just as well if you have sensitive skin. My dry face gets all soft without becoming irritated.

If you have sensitive skin and you've never tried Clarisonic Hydro Cleaner for sensitive skin, buy this now! If you're coming over from the original face wash, I think you'll be just as happy here as you were before.

When I use this with my Clarisonic Mia on my face it feels so smooth and soft afterwards, better than some other hydrating cleansers I have tried. I wish it weren't so expensive, but it does last a long time (I only use a dime size dot once a day). Love it!

I really like this cleanser. First, you don't have to use much to get your face very clean. A dab will do you when using this product. Next, the smell is mild and non offensive. It's not chemical and it isn't too herbal/floral. Lastly, after washing with this, I did not have dry skin patches around my mouth or my nose. Most cleansers left those dry patches on my face. It provides enough moisture without it being so much that you will breakout if you have sensitive skin.

Murad Active Radiance Serum 1.0 oz.-1 oz.

I am not one of those women that likes to shop, so my sister was kind enough to inquire at some beauty store about the dark spots on my face (mostly scaring from picking at acne) and the fact that I have extremely sensitive skin. So much so that I usually just wash my face with plain water as the majority of cleansers irritate and/or burn my skin.

The store recommended the Murad Environmental Shield Essential-C line. My sister gave me the starter kit for my birthday.

I was skeptical, but figured I would give it a try. None of the products burned or irritated my skin in the following days, so I kept using the products. In less than a week, I noticed a lot of my spots were fading and that some were completely *gone*!

My husband actually noticed and said that I looked like I was glowing -his word, not mine. He then asked if I was wearing makeup, which I never wear as it irritates my skin really bad. I got a sample of this product from Sephora and I fell in love with it. I had some spots from scarring on my face and after a couple of weeks, the spots were almost gone. I wanted to keep using it, but it was quite pricey through Sephora. I did some searching and found it much cheaper on Amazon. I use it daily after washing my face and applying toner. As recommended on the bottle, I apply one pump of the product to my face and let it soak into my skin for a minute before applying moisturizer. This product is truly amazing. My skin is clearer and blemish free. I would recommend this product to anybody.

I ran out of my Murad Skin Perfecting lotion a while back and wondered if I should give something else a go to see if I could get even better results. I have to admit, I'm not big on cosmetics or fragrance, but I *do* think that Murad makes really great products for skin and I have seen drastic improvements with some of their different products (most of which they discontinued...) I have been eyeing the Active Radiance Serum for a while, but I wasn't sure if it would make a difference on my skin and I was a little nervous about spending eighty+ (Murad price) on something that wouldn't make any difference.

So I decided to order the Murad Radiant Skin Renewal Kit because it had a smaller size of the Radiance Serum along with other products from the line.

I have to admit, I'm really glad I didn't order the Radiance Serum by itselfI had always assumed it did double duty (both a serum and a lotion) but this product is ABSOLUTELY NOT a lotion or a moisturizer. It's the consistency of antibacterial hand gelit's very very thin and very antiseptic in smell and feel. It smoothes on skin nicely, and the effects are immediatethe skin tightens and there is a definite tingling (this is *not* a good product for those with sensitive skin).

But besides the tightening, I really can't say I noticed a huge difference in the tone of my skin or the overall health of my skin, and the fact that you have to use this in conjunction with a lotion/moisturizer when many companies offer the same products combined in one deters me from purchasing the Active Radiance Serum again.

So while I do like the effects it has on my skin, it's one step too many and I have seen similar results with a lotion (especially Murad Brightening Cream, which they discontinued...) so I think I'll continue on my search for the perfect anti-aging and skin-brightening lotion/moisturizer all-in-one.
