These products from Melvita have been a life, well skin, saver to me.

After years of trying this and that, finally a product line that just works, it nice to the plant and the animals, and feels great.

I know little about the French Company, but their US HO is a joke. Bad service, mistakes on the web site, and slow shipping, when they get around to it.

Was about to give up of them when found the product line here on Amazon.com!

This was about 50 percent gum, and 50 percent powder. It DOES smell incredible though, and I would tell people to try it out on charcoals, and see how nice it is, and how your home will become a tranquil place with it burning. Tough I do wish the company would make sure to mention it is not all powder, as gum alone would prohibit it all from being used in preparations.

My hair got so heavy and dull with this shampoo that I looked like a different person. I felt like I had a helmet on all the time and probably looked like I did, too! What a waste of money! I switched to Biolage which got bounce back into my hair.

I bought a small tester size of it and it was one of the best shampoos I have ever tried. Left my hair light and fluffy.

I guess whether you like it or not very much depends on your type of hair.

Ambi Essentials Gentle Cleanser, 5 Ounces (Pack of 2)

This is a good cleanser to use on a daily basis. It's very gentle and it won't dry out your face. I use it twice a day along with other Ambi products. It does not fade dark marks from your face...it's just a basic cleanser.

Ambi has always been a standby name I could trust and this cleanser didn't disappoint. I definitely recommend this product.

Davines Authentic Cleansing Nectar and Moisturizing Balm Set

The shampoo cleans well and adds moisture. The cream smells decent but does an awesome job moisturizing the hair. I did not read the instructions right and used it as a stay in product on my kids hair. Did not do anything to it, but I have since started using mixed with their wash out conditioners. Both of these are AMAZING!!!

about any place in America. It was loved. I grew up seeing Mom using it and I continued the custom. A

woman could never go wrong buying Ponds.

Nowadays, the beauty products industry is highly competitive and diversified. You can buy Ponds "various"

creams. They come in color coded labels so its easy to distinguish one from the other. Also, the industry

has an advanced professional "jargon" that's used by the different manufacturers. If practical, I would sug-

gest taking a Dictionary along with you when shopping. You may need it. Is there a distinguishable dif-

ference between "towels or wipes, towelettes or wipettes?" Hardly! Wrong!

When you buy the above product, you are buying a really wonderful, expensive, cleansing TOWEL. I'm call-

ing it a towel even though the label says "towelette". It is a unique cleansing facial product. When you open up the package and take a "towelette" out, you see a beautiful sparkling, glittering product.

I've not seen any other like it. It is large for a facial cleansing cloth product. It is expensive. Almost any other facial cleansing cloth on the market certainly can do a comparative cleansing job when prices are stacked up against one another. Of course this is a relative scale I'm referring to. Its my opinion versus the

next person's. I've learned to strongly consider "cost-effectiveness" in my shopping. This is an expensive

So Essential Himalayan Crystal Salt Deodorant and Body Treatment Stone

I've been searching for a safe and effective alternative to antiperspirant deodorant. Salt has a fairly good reputation for it's cleansing and healing properties so I thought what the heck, I'll give this a shot. Well, I tried this salt stone for over a week and it just didn't work for me. For one, it does sting. The first time I used it was just after shaving (it's not that I'm dumb, it's just that I really do need to shave my armpits at some point). Well, I'm not kidding you, my armpits turned pink and burned for more than a good 10 minutes. The next 2 days -without shaving -weren't much better. I then tried shaving extra carefully and applying the deodorant very gently. That helped, but only just a little. The bar itself is very scratchy and I think I must have been scratching up my underarms with it during applications. I then tried just wetting the stone and rubbing my hands over the bar and applying the salt to my armpits with just my hands. That seemed to work the best in keeping the burning down to a minimum.

But my real problem with this product is that it left my underarms sticky and smelly. Even applying it twice a day didn't help reduce the odor. I'm not an extremely smelly person and I wasn't even doing moderately sweat-inducing activities. I just can't get this product to work for me. I have found that I am better off not using any deodorant at all than to use this stone. I pretty much smell the same whether I use the stone or not, but at least I don't have to contend with sticky underarms as well. I am now searching for another alternative and am going to try the Nourish Orange Deodorant stick next. I think (hope) it will at least work better than this salt stone did. Maybe I can somehow still use this bar in the bath or shower to cleanse my skin so it doesn't completely go to waste. [UPDATE: I like my Nourish Orange Deodorant stick soooo much better, hooray!]

One final note -the picture of this product is misleading. It shows 2 bars with rounded edges. What I received was one bar of medium thickness, with no rounded edges, which probably makes it more difficult to use under the arms. I've emailed the seller (TigerDive) about this but I get the impression they are not interested in correcting the problem unfortunately. This definitely makes me leery about buying anything else from these guys again. This shouldn't be a problem though, because after being burned a couple of times from 3rd party sellers on Amazon, I am no longer buying health and beauty products on Amazon unless the product maker and seller are one and the same and I can verify that the ingredients and product description are accurate.

Although I did receive this product in a timely manor, I was not completely satisfied with the product itself. I would like you to know that I had been using a Thai Crystal before using this Solay Salt Stone. My issue is that It BURNED my skin when applied. I realize that freshly shaved skin and the salt stone are not advisable BUT even on unshaved skin it still burned. I bought two of these-one for a friend. We both threw ours out :(

Yes, this product will sting when applied directly to the skin especially if it's done immediately after a shave. It's rock salt like table salt sodium chloride, as opposed to alum, which is what most of the deodorant and post-shaving stones are made of. If you want no sting, alum is great, and effective. If you specifically want rock salt, alum just won't do. So I was glad to find this. It's true that the bar is just a clean-cut rectangle without the rounded edges shown in the photo. It's quite pretty, though not evenly pink, as shown, but white with pink streaks.

Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Liquid Moisturizer with Helioplex, 1.4 Ounces

This product is different than anything I have tried before. It is very thin, almost the consistency of milk. It feels like nothing is on. I'm a make-up minimalist: I use a moisturizer, and sometimes a mineral powder. There is no "product sweating". What I mean is, sometimes a moisturizer/sunscreen makes white 'puddles' when out in hot sun. This product has none of that. It feels really nice on my skin. And the high SPF is awesome. I definitely recommend this product.

Neutrogena Healthy Defense Liquid Moisturizer SPF 50 With Helioplex is my new favorite SPF product for the face. I've destroyed my skin by exposure to the sun, so I do not go out without sunscreen, and this one is an absolute winner for my delicate and sensitive skin. Working in a garden, I often have felt my eyes burn and water with SPF moisturizers flowing as I perspired, but this stuff is great! I have been using Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream with another SPF product on top, either a J&J product, Kinerase, or Kiehl's, but this is better for me than any of those, even the more expensive products. In a small bottle, it doesn't take up a lot of space, and the mixing balls let you know the product is moving around when it's shaken prior to use. The small tip allows for minimal liquid to be dispensed onto the fingers (directions say into the palm, but I use the fingers), so it's not wasted. I am not sensitive to the indiscernible scent and I've not shown any redness or sensitivity to the product. For dry skin, it's definitely not enough moisturizer, but then I've always used the two step approach anyway. I'm hooked AND protected.

ADDENDUM: After using this product for a bit longer, I must add one criticism. It's not always easy to get the lid lined up on the first try and I sometimes have to struggle with multiple attempts to close the bottle. Despite my clumsiness, I love the sunscreen even more than when I wrote the first review and I've discovered that the small size at 1.4 oz allows for taking the entire product on journeys with the NTSB travel regulations, a definite asset for travelers!!

I don't know about the science behind "helioplex" (my mozilla firefox browser puts a red line under the word, that should be your first clue it's a bit dodgy) but this thin lotion is a nice product that feels like it's working. I think it makes my skin look better (and isn't that what these products are all about?) The SPF 50 is great and the price is right. Neutrogena is always great for hypoalergenic products. This one smells a little like my mother's "skin so soft" but the scent doesn't linger.

One of the better high-end lotions (hey, it's high end for me! I don't do the $50+ a gram lotions) I have tried.

Not a bad product but hardly ideal.

The Pros: Light weight and non-oily, it also works well with Retin-A and at the end of an 8 -10 hour day in the sun my cheeks were only slightly pink so there was some definite sunscreen coverage.

The Cons: A bit too light weight and my skin felt a bit dry half way through the day. ( I live in Wyoming a very dry state. In a more humid state this would probably be just right.) Also since my skin was not fully moisturized it stings a bit every time I apply it. I have combination skin so I would really have to re-apply it at some point in the day to maximize it's effects.

For it's price, in my experience, this is as good as a moisturizer can get without being greasy and causing breakouts. I do not have a problem using this in fact I have found it most ideal for travel conditions.

In the winter, you might want to use it as a sunscreen under your regular moisturizer, if you like a richer product.

But the liquid perfume is different and more intense. It's very non-specifically fruity. When I purchased this cleanser, I was looking for a gentle, non-drying cleanser to remove makeup easily. This did not end up satisfying that need exactly. It is an effective cleanser, gentle on skin and non-drying, slightly heavy on scent, but nothing too terrible. But unfortunately--and this may be due to heavy perfumes--if you get it in your eyes, it burns like (expletive deleted). Very painful, and not super easy to rinse out. That said and lesson learned, I do like using this in the shower on face and body, and I do still use it to remove eye makeup, but I'm very careful to rinse quickly and not rub it in my eyes at all. I haven't decided if I'll repurchase, but I do think it's a very good shower wash.

18 years ago I developed sensitive skin. I am the 1 in 10,000th person who will still get a rash from hypoallergenic products. My dermatologist recommended this soap instead and I have been using it ever since.

I can wash my hands dozens of times a day with this and not get dry hands or a contact dermatitis rash. I have bars all over the house, I travel with it, and my husband uses it now because he has developed sensitive skin too.

Johnson & Johnson has NEVER changed the formula for the soap in 18 years. This is a God-send since most companies are always "improving" their products and making something that worked like a dream for me to suddenly give me problems.

I too started using this soap at the recommendation of my dermatologist for facial ache and it worked! This was several years ago and I no longer use, but when I did, the soap cleared up my ache. Now, my son has facial ache; he began using a frequently advertised product which worked well but required too many steps (from my son's perspective) to practice on a daily basis. I purchased Purpose soap for him and poof, away the ache. He uses it daily without hesitation.

Love it and it comes highly recommended.

PS: I used this soap for at least 15 years. I only stopped because I no longer had an ache problem but I always kept a supply on hand (just in case).

I have been using this soap after my dermatologist recommended it over 10 years ago. This eye moisturizer has a pleasant cucumber scent and is very easy to apply. It doesn't leave your eye area all greasy, and it absorbs pretty fast. As a general moisturizer, it works quite well.

However, I've noticed zero improvement in eye puffing following application. It hasn't helped smooth down any wrinkles, either. I can't say that I expected anything radical since most eye creams make ridiculous claims that can never be achieved. However, I was hoping for some improvement in terms of de-puffing (since cold cucumbers always seem to help) but I was sorely disappointed.

If you are just looking for a fast-absorbing moisturizer, this might be a nice product to use. But if you are hoping to de-bag in the morning, this might not produce the results you are hoping for.

I discovered this about 15 years ago when my head and scalp were soooo dry that I couldn't find relief. Not dry flakey dry, dry as if the hair on your head literally has turned to thick dry hay and just having it move around on your head feels jarring. I normally have super straight silky hair but once every couple of years I get that feeling again and I thank my lucky stars that this product exists. There literally is nothing else I could find that can calm my hair and scalp back to life in just one session. I'm not sure if the directions have changed. I'm here to order it again because that time has come once again where I feel that way. I just had surgery, could be the anesthesia's effects who knows but do as the directions say. Start creating parts in your hair and with a cotton ball soaked in the treatment (and I mean soaked)take the cotton ball start going in to the parts soaking your scalp. Do it on dry hair, don't wet it first. Then I remember she says to do this back and forth with your hands on your head but I don't really do that the whole time I switch between that and just regular massaging it in to my scalp. It's the most amazing feeling of cool penetrating moisture in to the skin of your scalp. I know this says oil but trust me it's oil but it isn't I don't know how to describe it but you'll see. So at this point I think the directions say to massage it out in warm water but I actually don't do that yet, I then pour almost half of the rest of the bottle on to the rest of my hair and massage it all in and through to the point that my hair is soaked with it.

(And I'm the kind of girl who's hair is so straight that I am super careful with that kind of stuff. I did one of those mayonnaise treatments in my hair once and I looked like a disgusting grease ball for weeks. You don't have to worry with this.)

So, once you start wetting your hair with the warm water the whole thing just lathers up and washes out completely clean. Not even like a hot oil treatment, no slimy feeling just the feeling of normal and having your hair finally back and your head no longer heavy with the brittle hay feeling. Relief!!! It's so not oily that it's almost squeeky to the point that you HAVE to folow up with a conditioner to finish off.

I can't sleep so I thought I'd leave this and hope it saves someones search for their own relief. pay it forward you know...

Oh I had really oily hair as a kid so I have always used the Normal to Oily but it won't hurt you if you use the other one and you're oily. It's not really oil like I said..
