I have been using Clinique's Pore Refining Solutions for about 2 years. I am fair complected with alot of freckles. I have pretty clear skin for being 41 yrs old, however, I tend to have oily skin. I use this primarly for the few pores which seem to me to be on the larger side. It's wonderful! I am not into alot of makeup, but I love, love , love this! I wear this over my moisturizer, a bit of blush and mascara, and lip gloss. I have the natural look. I will only wear this product; good thing is too, it doesn't clog pores, so the times I don't feel like washing my face, it doesn't clog like foundations.

Though I agree with the other poster about the inconvenience of the bottle (it is heavy, breakable, not conducive to travel, and difficult to get the last precious drops out -for me only about 1/2 tsp remains in the bottom), I have to give this product 5 stars because what is inside the bottle is spectacular.

The cleansing milk is so gentle, not even stinging if it gets in my eyes, and not drying my face, even in the depths of winter. I love the smell, like rose-scented geraniums, lychees, and cold cream. Ever since I started using this product a couple of years ago, my complexion has been clear and I have been receiving consistent compliments on my skin. I can really see the difference, and it appears that others can too.

Because this product is at the top of my price range, I only wash my face once a day with one pump per application, so I make it last. This product is far nicer than anything I had ever used before it. I think it is well-worth the extra money.

EDIT:

I have recently stopped using this product, not because I don't like it (I still love it), but because money is a bit tight for me at the moment. If it is tight for you too, consider Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser 16 Oz as a replacement for this. It is also very gentle and non-sudsing, and though it is a bit less rich and doesn't smell nice like the Cleansing Milk, it is much less expensive. The Dr. Hauschka's is still my favorite, and still feels more nourishing to the skin, but the cetaphil is good enough for now.

this is a face wash from heaven. for some reason it is the only product that does not give me an allergic reaction. smells great, removes eye makeup...very important.

it's inconveniently in a bottle that leaves at least a tablespoon or two of product at the bottom. it requires tremendous effort to remove (inverting it for days and catching it before it falls out as you put it in your hand). you'd think for $35 someone at the company could work this out.

This is without a doubt the best cleanser I have ever used! It's super gentle, smells great, gets makeup off, and is incredibly soothing. I tend to have a little redness on my cheeks and the occasional breakout, but this product has soothed most of the redness (I hardly notice it at all) and has cleared up my face a lot.

There are only two downsides: the price and the bottle. This product is a bit pricey (like the entire Dr. Hauschka line) but I definitely think it is worth the money. With the amount this has helped out my skin, I would pay a lot more for it to be completely honest. The bottle is glass, which isn't a bit deal for me, but it makes it difficult to travel with. It would probably be better in a squeezable tube.

I do think the product is worth the money and problems with the bottle, which is why I kept the 5 star rating. The pros outweigh the cons.

I have skin that breaks out easily, most lotions and soaps dry out and break out my cheeks, chin and sometimes the area around my eyes. This is the most incredibly moisturizing shampoo I have ever used, and as a self proclaimed beauty junkie I can attest to the fact that I have a great interest in hair care. When I let it grow long I like to color and highlight and basically kill the hair and even though I was blessed with healthy, straight hair it still starts to show dryness once it gels really long.

This shampoo is pure heaven, it's silky and yellow and when I wet my hair and apply it, it literally feels like butter. Trust me its' a good thing, after this it almost doesn't matter what conditioner I use because it's still more supple than with any other brand but the matching conditioner and mask are worthy of the time and investment, all together they helped save my hair as I was thinking of cutting of a few inches.

One bad thing is the size and price, the bottle is tiny when you compare it to a can of soda which is larger in volume it still lasts me quite a while but it's hard to find and it's expensive. Other than that it's pure love, I feel almost sick when I have to use something else in my hair, this totally spoiled me.

This shampoo, especially used together with the Absolut Repair conditioner, is wonderful! I had dried out my hair with peroxide as I was trying to lighten it somewhat. It is expensive, yes, but is it not true that you really do get what you pay for? This shampoo is no exception....it is well worth the cost. My hair is no longer dried out but is very soft. And as moisturizing as the products are they do not "coat" the hair even with everyday use. No oily, gunky build-up. Small investment? Yes...but the results are definitely worth it. These cleansing pads from EcoTools are very good, being neither too soft, nor too rough. Additionally, because they are flatter than most of the cheap plastic pads, they do not absorb (and waste) large amounts of soap. Don't get me wrong, the shampoo does remove residue. But it KILLS your hair. The problem is that it strips products out of your hair, and strips out moisture as well. I've used it for years, until I learned from my friend who is a professional hair stylist, that all you need to do is take one cup of water, one tablespoon of baking soda, pour on your scalp (not ends) and scrub... then take 1/2 cup of cider vinegar with 1/2 cup of water, pour in your hair, rinse with cold water. Baking soda is an alkaline and it can make your hair frizz, but cider vinegar is acidic so it closes the cuticle. You can follow it with conditioner (if you think you'll smell vinegar-y, which I've never experienced). My hair comes out super shiny and gorgeous every time... once every 1-2 weeks I do this and it works better than any other clarifying shampoo I have ever used.

I know that most people will feel iffy about that kind of method, but trust me. Ditch the clarifying shampoo, try this and you won't be disappointed.

The results I had with this shampoo were so effective, that I felt that it was worthy of a review (yes, I know I write a lot of them, but I take it very seriously). The recommendation is that you use Neutrogena Shampoo Anti-Residue, every week, to clear out the gunk left over from previous shampoos and conditioners. Though, the smell is a little on the strong side, I know it gets the job done. Use it, as needed, to provide excellent results, in between the times you use your everyday shampoo and conditioner combination.

I think that people might feel there is some air of mystery surrounding this product, the reviews can be intimidating with the rules and directions but I would just say to try it, go for it. If it's not for you then you will know it right away or in the other case you might find a product that will greatly benefit your grooming routine. I said grooming because this is totally male and female friendly; this is once a week shampoo that you use instead of whatever else you use to wash your hair and finish with conditioner once rinsed out I always do that, and that's it. I have used this on and off since I was a teenager in the 90's and now that I'm thirty I still love it.

This shampoo is crystal clear and smells like the freshest sandalwood, it whips the hair into a luxe lather and makes it ready for conditioner. After the conditioning and towel drying I finish with a leave in conditioner spray and Moroccan oil and it makes my hair very happy. Once dried the hair feels fresh, clean and shiny. This is a wonderful product and it almost guarantees a good hair day, it lasts forever and Amazon has the best price on it.

I have very thick, easily tangled, Sharpie-sized curls that can sometimes be dry, especially the ends. Well, I try to only wash my hair once, no more than twice a week and this shampoo cleanses so well and leaves my hair silky soft every time. I love the scent. It smells like men's cologne to me but I love it(makes me wanna cuddle up with my guy ;)) Anyway, I've put this to the side several times and bought natural/organic shampoos, but I always go back to my Neutrogena because every other shampoo makes my hair feel "squeaky" clean and stripped. I like my hair to be soft after shampooing. I've even used WEN(it's supposed to rid the hair of previous buildup from unatural products), and after awhile it leaves a residue on my hair.

What I do:

I only use a quarter-sized amount because I don't like to use too much shampoo. Even that small amount creates a lot of suds.

I apply shampoo once to scalp and roots only. The shampoo rinses through the length with water when I'm done.

I use cool to luke warm water. Hot water dries hair out.

After shampooing, I condition with a thick conditioner (like Aussie Moist or Dove Intensive Repair)and detangle with a paddle brush (Edit: I now finger comb, then use a seamless wide tooth comb, then a Denman on small sections for twists). *For deep conditioning, cover with plastic cap for length of shower or 10 minutes or more if not in shower. You can also do a heavy oil treatment (coconut oil etc.) before shampooing instead.

Squeeze/pat (don't wring) hair with towel (optional-sometimes I just drip or squeeze excess h2o with hands)

Apply thick leave-in (I use longhairlovers) and oil (coconut oil) or Africa's Best Ultimate Herbal Oil

Style as desired. I'm currently wearing my hair in twists.

I have tried everything...Obagi, Dermalogica, ProActive, Clear Skin..etc. Finally I found Alpha Hydrox. I am African American, 28 years old and I live in Houston (so humid). This was the one product that helped me elimate my acne after suffering with it almost 20 years. It's also very inexpensive, feels nice, smells neutral, and is one of the 3 products I've found that contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). The nearest thing I've found to it was a dermatologist-supplied product that costs $29.95 for 8 fl oz. This is less than a third of the price and I like it better.

Neutrogena also makes a product that contains alpha hydroxy acids, but it contains other acids as well that don't improve perfomance and burn your eyes if any seeps in. The alpha hydrox product does not sting your eyes.

The alpha hydrox line is difficult to find in stores, so I always order my supply online. If the company ever went out of business I'd have to attempt to buy a lifetime supply. I've got a stockpile of about 10 bottles of the wash stored in the basement!

I have very sensitive facial skin prone to acne. I began using this night and day, as directed, for about 1 week. It cleanses well and thoroughly, but after about a week of usage (washing twice a day (as indicated in directions), I developed dry skin with red rosacea-like patchy bumpy areas on my skin. I think washing twice a day or even once a day with this cleanser, may be too much for very sensitive skin. It may be OK to use a few times a week during the night. After stopping using it, I continued to have red patches and bumps on my skin which took about a few weeks to heal. If your skin is NOT sensitive to alpha hydroxy acid, it may be OK to use, but I have decided after using this, that my skin must be sensitive to the ingredients, so I returned it.

Note: you should make sure to wear a good sunscreen since using any products with AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.

The rough side isn't too rough as some of the reviews say. Its nice and small so i can store it easily. The only problem is that after using it five or six times I noticed a weird discoloration. I don't think theres any problem with a bit of color, and it might just be a bleaching effect from the face wash I'm using.

Thymes Body Lotion, Eucalyptus, 9.25-Ounce Bottle

I tried a 'tester' of this product at gift shop and liked it so much I decided to order if. Apparently very popular and hard to keep in stock as the gift shop was sold out! It's a fabulous fragrance although the smell did not particularly remind me of Eucalyptus or anything else not sure what, but it's divine. I did not immediately love the fragrance but did notice that the scent tends to change and deepen after several minutes of wear. Long lasting, I could still smell it on my hands after washing my hands. The lotion has a thicker viscosity, more like cream than lotion not at all watery, it's nice and creamy and thick. I would love to have the entire line. I think Thymes used to make a shampoo and conditioner but have not been able to find it. If you like spa scents this is the one! This one will definitely be a staple in our home.

I would love to know if anyone has tried the body spray fragrance and if it smells like the lotion and lasts as long.

The bottle of lotion came in a nice box that was completely crushed due to poor packing. As hard as I tried, I never detected a eucalyptus smell. It smelled of "Old Lady"!

While I love many of The Thymes fragrances (including my recent fav, Frasier Fir), the scent I have loved for years and used religiously is Eucalyptus. The Thymes lotion is not too heavy or thick (and not greasy), but is also not too water-y or thin. I think of it as the perfect weight "body" lotion, something good for use on your hands just after a wash, or on your body after a shower. My favorite product is the Eucalyptus shower gel, as it smells heavenly and opens my sinuses! Please note, The Thymes Eucalyptus body lotion is NOT as strongly eucalytus scented as Molton Brown's Warming Eucalyptus shower gel. I prefer The Thymes Eucalyptus products. Also, I highly recommend the Sue Patrick store, as they have provided me with excellent customer service for both my orders to-date. Recommended.

I use this product every day, and it is WONDERFUL! It really does a good job of clearing acne, without overdrying your face. It also makes your skin tone look really even. For the price, I am buying more, and would recommend this to anyone!

I have used this cleanser for years now and I still love it. It has a very slight pear/apple fragrance and it is very cleansing. I have normal/combo skin that can sometimes be dry since I live in CO but this cleanser never leaves my skin dry. It thoroughly cleanses and leaves my skin feeling smooth.It has a little bit of salicylic acid in it which helps keep my pores clear. I would even recommend it for those with oily skin.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock Body Mist, 5 Ounces (Pack of 2)

I really liked this product. It sprayed on easily, I didn't have to rub it in, it didn't feel greasy, it didn't smell unpleasant, but most of all I got thru over 3 hours in the Spring Florida sun and got zero tan. Usually one hour unprotected will give me redness, so going three hours with almost no redness was impressive. The only area I applied twice was the tops of my pale white feet which I didn't want to gamble on getting sunburned.

I didn't notice any staining to anything I wore or furniture I sat on, and except for a very slight filmy feeling, really didn't know it was on after the initial wetness subsided. I sprayed it onto a paper towel and patted it on my face, ears and neck and that worked out fine. I debated getting a higher SPF rating, but I'd read that more was overkill and didn't want to risk any possible skin sensitivity.

I'll certainly buy this again for my next trip to Florida.

A very nice product that seems to work...I used this for about three weeks when I had my two strand twists in... It stopped itching and scalp irritations i usually get when i have twisted or braided styles in more than two weeks. The relief effect doesn't last very long u have to ssprayit on your scalp ever so often...but overall I can get the same results using a water bottle with peppermint oil and tea tree oil diluted with water...Its an ok product that a person who is not into mixing oils would love...I recommend it for those people.

I ordered this for my step MIL because online it looks like a full size gift box, and several of the other reviewers raved about how great it was so I thought I'd give it a try. The box is a little on the small side but is decent. Once you open the shrink wrapped box to get everything out it looks VERY skimpy. I paid almost $70 for it, and it looks like it might be worth $20 if that -and that's only because of the box. The "truffles" and "english tea" as well as the "angel candles" all look like they're from the dollar store. I'm VERY disappointed with this product.

I paid for a beautiful gift like the picture but i got an article that looked used! The white paint was yellowish. It's a old box with oxidized and broken lock. I throw away the cookies because don't have expiration date.

I purchased this item for my company's Mother's Day raffle based upon pictures and positive reviews. I was running out of time, had no time to shop myself and so Amazon was the solution. The item arrived damaged, not enough padding in the box, actually there was no padding at all. The contents arrived all closed in the box too, not nicely displayed as in the picture. The items were cheap dollar store type items, not worth 49 bucks!

I initially tried to return the item, only to get a response that this item is not eligible for return!! After calling Amazon, I learned I could still get a refund, but that they would not accept the product back since it contains some food items. I'm glad I got the credit back on my credit card, so I was able to get something else for this raffle instead. My recommendation, go to the local gift shop and check out your purchase directly. Do not get this item!

I bought this gift for my cousin who's celebrating her 80th birthday and she seems happy and pleased about it. I'm kind of disappointed that in these days of age the standard shipping takes 7 full days. I guess i under estimated the standard shipping mail service (thought 4 or 5 days would be enough time)and she didn't receive on the date of her birthday.

I purchased this as a gift for someone. The box is a nice sized box, however, the box itself does not look like the one in the advertised photo. The paint, which is supposedly hand painted, is not as deep in color and detail as in the photo and the roses are not as defined as in the photo. I expected this gourmet "food" gift basket to be that! There is no food, and since it is a gift basket, I expected the items to be displayed coming out of the box as in the photo to make it attractive looking. The items inside are packed inside with the box lid closed. I found this gift was nice, but was a little disappointed in it. I also thought it was a bit pricey at $60.
