I tend to have annoying, heavy acne on the sides of my neck, occasionally in the middle as well. Since using this product for about a year now, I can control the acne on my neck now. I don't really have acne on my face anymore, but my neck can still be a problem. The worst it gets now is looking like it wants to break out, but never fully does. I hope that makes sense. I pair this with the acidolphilis (sp?) cream, and colostrum cream as a moisturizer. The two working together is key. Oh, and if you can afford it, purchase the larger quantity and bite the bullet. It will last you somewhere between 6 months and a year.

I love Epicuren products. I have the whole system (wash, toner, lotions, etc.) and would recommend it to anyone. My skin feels soft and clean.

I've been using this face wash for about 5 years now, but I haven't found it in any stores in the past several months. The face wash is great for oily skin it removes makeup really well and is soap-free, so is good for sensitive skin. We've stocked up and are hoping that Amazon continues to carry it. The price was better than any of the online drugstores as well.

I liked this face wash the first 2 times I used it but after that I found it very drying. I have pretty sensitive skin, especially in the winter, and I found I had to use twice as much moisturizer after washing my face with this or my face would burn the rest of the day. I'm sure it'll be better once the weather gets warmer. In the mean time I am using it sparingly.

I bought some of this face wash at the grocery store, only to discover later on that carries it for a better price. This face wash says it's for normal to oily skin, but my skin can get extremely dry, and I am in love with this product. There's a clean tingle after using it, the smell is fresh and clean, and it's inexpensive. If you have dry skin, I also recommend pairing it with Complex 15 as a face moisturizer afterward. I discovered it on Amazon, and am more impressed than I have been with any other moisturizer.

This is awesome and cheap face wash. Smell isn't overbearing and leaves my skin feeling pretty clean. It is hard to find. I was breaking out and my gf told me to get this. Bought off amazon and arrived in one day using prime. This facial wash is slightly drying though so I suggest you buy a good moisturizer. Would def buy again.

I have tried expensive face cleansers all the way down to the typical grocery store kinds. My room mate in college turned me on to this about 12 years ago. She had the best skin and whenever I would sneak some, I loved the clean smell. I took a break from this cleanser (mainly cause I couldn't find it) and tried others. I have oily skin on my face, especially my nose and forehead. Clean and clear worked immediately to give me a light scrub as i cleaned my face not too gravelly or scratchy. I felt Noxema fresh and not cloy or dry when I was done. I wiped excess and it felt good. I also tried just rinsing off with water and that worked too just don't use too much cleanser at a time. I had a nice matte finish that a model would envy. Yes, I combined the cleanser with the moisturizer. I put it on at 7am, it is 3:56pm and my face is still matte baby!! Not shiny... MATTE.

The moisturizer does have a mattifying effect and keeps my skin from becoming oily as soon as it normally would. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I am a woman of color and this product leaves a powdery, ashy finish on my face. I still use it because I wear makeup over top, but I can't just moisturize my face and walk out the door.

I use this is my morning routine to wash my face before using astringent and moisturizer. Combining this with the mattifying lotion available on Amazon by the same brand, I see a noticeable and considerable difference in how oily I am. I still start getting a "shine" after 6 8 hours, but that's a heck of a lot longer and better than any previous combination of cleansers and moisturizers I've ever used. Mega kudos! Now if only these were available at my local stores!!

I have difficult and problematic skin. I have adult blemishes, dry patches, oily T-zone, and VERY sensitive skin that reacts to most products. After reading about how great rose water is, I bought some at my local health food store to give it a try. I didn't have a good result at all (it made skin around my nose flaky, made my T-zone even more oily, and I started getting small white-head type pimples on my face).

Upon further investigation, I realized that what I had purchased was a mixture of rose oil and water, not actual distilled rose water. I know well from experience that I cannot use any kind of oil on my sensitive face. I use all oil-free products. I found this product on Amazon and took a chance and ordered it. I realized immediately that it's an entirely different product altogether.

I use this on my face as a "toner" morning and night, after cleansing and before moisturizer. I have changed nothing else (using the same oil-free cleanser and moisturizer that I have for years), and my skin looks better than it ever has in my life. I know that sounds dramatic, but it is so true! I can't stop looking at my skin in the mirror. It's soft, looks smooth and hydrated, my pores are less visible, and my skin is more balanced (the dry areas are hydrated, oily T-zone completely in check). Best of all, it gently and quickly cleared up the blemishes I had (including the new white bumps I got from the previous product) in a matter of two days, and I have no new blemishes in a week (unheard of). I love this stuff, and will make sure I order again before I run out.

My hormones have been on revolt, this winter. Pimples and breakouts are aplenty! Yikes. Nothing like redness and blemishes to make a person feel insecure and self conscious. What could I do? I have nothing but great things to report. The Organic Rose Water smells amazing, feel extremely pure and a little goes a long way. I dabbed it on a piece of tissue paper and proceeded to blot it on my face paying close attention to the inflamed areas. They immediately felt less irritated, and my epidermal wall felt moisturized and protected! Plus, I smell like a rose garden, afterwards. I am definitely going to try rose water treatments, for the next few weeks, to see if it really does help refine my pores, clear up breakouts and rejuvenate me. Previous reviews were decidedly glowing, so, I had to go out on a limb, upgrade my rose water brand and give it a shot!

I LOVE this rosewater and highly recommend it. I use it as a facial toner to soothe sensitive skin. It is perfectly balancing, cooling in summer (splash some on arms and back of neck), refreshes, and even seems to speed healing of irritated/burned skin. It is also great on hair, and I have a recipe for a leave-in hair conditioner that I want to try with this (rose water, aloe vera juice, almond oil, and essential oils). I have repurchased this and I will continue to do so. I think it is one of nature's essential remedies. No home should be without it. :-) It smells very pleasant and natural, no added synthetics at all that I can detect. Enjoy.

Whether you use rose water as an alcohol-free skin toner or a cooking ingredient, organic is the way to go to avoid pesticides. I've ordered this Bulgarian rose water directly from the Alteya site many times over the past several years, usually two bottles at a time (2 X 500ml) to save on shipping. For my seasonally dry, always sensitive skin, it's mild and soothing alone as a morning cleanser or as a last step, after removing makeup with a cream cleanser, at the end of the day. It smells fresh and calming. It's the one skincare product I won't do without. The bottle's label is not the most attractive and I would prefer a flip-top lid, but those are very minor things in comparison with the product's value in terms of quality for price. This is BEAUTIFUL! I used to use Cortas brand for many years, but I always noticed it tasted a little soapy. It's the only brand I had ever tried though, so I stuck with it until now. I was thrilled this product was organic and though it is 4 times the prices of Cortas I ordered it anyway and I am so glad I did. I'll never go back. I use it mixed with mint tea and orange oil or orange slices as a refresher. A little goes a long way.

this scrub just refreshes your skin and senses and exfoliates so well. I havent recieved my order yet. But i always buy this scrub and come back to it. Its super faithful to me in getting the job done. Ive tried st ives, loreal scrubs, mint julep, and other clean and clear newer products. They all make me break out and make my skin feel unbalanced. This scrub never does that.

I use cetaphil face wash 10oz for Oily skin and this product and for occasional acne break outs Stride X pads for sensitive skin.

My face stays clean and gives me no problems when i stay using that combo. So, this works for me and i will stick to it. Now, Im just looking for a good moisturizer to fight wrinkles and keep my skin firm and young looking. Since im 26yrsold and see some fine lines around my eyes and light ones on my forehead.

The grains on this scrub is fine, It is not extra fine where its harsh on your skin, for me its quite perfect. Ive used scrubs that state they are fine, but no, they are just like a face wash and do not exfoliate.

This one gets the job done. But like i said they are not extra fine grains. For example like the exfoliating scrub clinique sells is extra fine but not harsh and it does a great job....but compare this to clinques price? And this one is just as good and is in the budget lol.

I would have given this 5 stars because I like the product, but the new packaging is HORRIBLE. It is impossible to close the tube without getting the cleanser all over the tube and it wastes a lot. The old packaging was great and I have no idea why they changed it. The new packaging is so bad that I probably won't buy this anymore and I have been using it for years.

It feels nice and soft on skin and smells good..but it can't help any discoloration using that only. You have to use retinol, aha, hydroquinone, or something else besides just that wash. I personally have yet to find a good hydroquinone product to remove my uneven skintone issues..when I do I bet the face wash WILL enhance the effects though.

Ok, I brought this product to not only clean my face but help brighten up my old acne scars. Says it works better with a brightening topical. I am an AA woman w/ normal/combination skin. My skin usually works pretty well with products and its not terribly acne prone. This product doesn't lather its more of a cream you massage on the face AFTER cleansing. Yes, it left my skin soft..but greasy in some weird way. I did not use every night. One night as I was asleep, I was awaken by this weird pinching, itching tight feeling on my forehead! I thought I had bed bugs or some creature was attacking me in the middle of the night, subsequently it went away. However, I continued to use the product, I didn't believe it was the cleanser.. and then it happened again! I didn't want to scratch and break my skin so I rubbed my forehead lightly..this was crazy. By the 2nd week, I took a good look in the mirror and I had tiny scabs on my forehead..really fine scabs in between the lines of my skin. So I grabbed a white wash rag, rubbed it and the scabs came off. Lots of them. I've never had this happened to me before.

If anyone knows what ingredient in this product causes this reaction, please reply.

In all, I can't say I wouldn't recommend the product, because everyone has different reactions to certain things. It just wasn't for me.

Neutrogena Wave Sonic 2-Speed Spinning Power-Cleanser

This is the next model of the neutrogena wave spinning cleanser. This came with batteries and was pretty easy to set up. There are 2 speeds to choose from depending on how "deep" a cleaning you desire. Personally, I couldn't really tell a difference between them. This does not pulse like the original wave.

This cleanser came with 14 deep cleaning pads. These pads are saturated with soap, you hold this under the water and then start cleaning. It is water proof so you can use this in the shower. There are 2 different types of cleaning pads you can get, deep cleaning and gentle exfoliating. The soap on the deep cleaner is a bit drying and I usually prefer a gentler cleanser. I have found that if you rinse out the pads after a use, you can keep reusing them with your favorite cleanser. You can get quite a few uses out of each pad which is a nice way to save some money. My face does feel quite a bit smoother after I use this. I only use this every couple of days and my skin does feel quite a bit smoother and cleaner. The refills for the microdermablasion also fit this cleanser.

My only real problem with this is that you have to be very careful about your hair. I had a few loose strands that slipped onto my forehead and this thing yanked them out. Other than that, this does a relatively good job of cleaning my face.

WEN by Chaz Dean Summer Mango Coconut CleansingConditioner 16 Oz.

I really like this conditioner, especially the smell...very sweet coconut scent. Right up my alley. It leaves my hair feeling soft and clean. I have very sensitive skin including a dry and itchy scalp so the one downside of this product is that if I use it too often, i notice it tends to not help with keeping my scalp moisturized and not feeling itchy.

I've been using a shampoo and conditioner with tea tree oil which I use when i am not using the WEN conditioner (Organic Health Invigorating Tea Tree Oil Shampoo & Conditioner + FREE Tea Tree Oil Soap Bars by Herbal Authority). The tea tree oil is what you want if you have a dry or itchy scalp to begin with.

I am able to still use WEN 2-3 times week and since I've been using the tea tree shampoo, any dry or flakiness has gone away just about completely. I also use to get small pimples on my hairline which also disappeared once I started using the tea tree products. It works out great because I really do love the way WEN makes my hair smell but if I use too much it starts to work against me.

Final Update!?

1 Month Later: Okay, so I'm still using this one bottle of WEN after over a month. My hair is elbow length, medium thick, wavy, white girl hair. It is very tangly, so I've always combed my hair out in the shower with regular conditioner in. After using this for over a month, I've noticed a DRASTIC difference in hair loss. I can't believe it, because I read some reviews that said it causes hair loss, but I've experienced the opposite. I was used to losing a good bit of hair, each time I washed (every other day), but in the last 3 weeks, it has come down to just 2 or 3 hairs, as opposed to about 20. I think the people that experienced hair loss, we're just not use to combing out their hair in the shower, and seeing how much they were actually losing all along. Anyway... My hair looks amazing. It's soft, silky, smooth, and it moves around a lot. I have volume, and it's less tangly. IF your hair is oily after using WEN, you've used it wrong. You have to add water as you scrub, and you have to rinse it REALLY well, and that my friend will not happen again, unless you got the wrong kind for your hair. The trick to detangling is to wait until you're rinsing to comb out your hair. The water helps detangle. Don't even try to comb it right when you just scrubbed it; wait until it's time to rinse, after it's absorb into the hair. I also am not using as much as the directions say, because I still have 1/4 bottle left, and it should all be gone by now. I am loving this product, so I've just ordered more in a different flavor. Hope it is as great. I highly recommend this product after over a month of steady use I have nothing but good things to say.

3 Weeks Later:

I have used this product for 3 weeks, every other day, and I think I'm gonna keep ordering. My hair looks great, and feels healthy. I bought the L'Oreal cleansing conditioner to compare, and I just used it today. It's a great product if you can't afford WEN, but WEN is superior. It just doesn't quite smooth and detangle as well. I have not noticed a build up on my scalp or hair loss... I think rinsing extremely well is key with these cleansing conditioners. My hair is wavy, and when I let it dry natural, I have more definition to my waves. I have noticed more fly-aways around my part, but that may just be new hair growth since my scalp is more healthy. My hair is consistently smooth and very soft when I blow dry it. It's almost like this product performs off of heat. The key is figuring out how much product to use, how much to scrub and lather, and how long to rinse. I have had a very good experience. I think the people who claim to have greasy hair, are not scrubbing or rinsing long enough. I recommend this product. I'll try to keep you updated!

First Use:

So I waited for days, impatiently, and finally got the package. I jumped into the shower, popped the pump up, pump pump pump... and fail. The pump put out three nice pumps and broke. A spring went flying, and I tried to fix it with one hand... but it wouldn't fix. Long story short, I removed the lid, squeezed out a big glob, and started massaging!

First: Mango Coconut smells divine. I've never tried the others, so I don't know how it compares, but I love it. It's subtle, yet you can smell it when you turn your head. Coconut is light, with a hint of mango, and it's kinda vanillawee too.

Now for the Hair: My hair is almost to my elbows, so, following the directions and using 30 pumps, means I get to use about a third of this lil bottle each time I wash my hair :( Pricey pricey, but thank God, it actually works. I have always had tangly hair. It's not to thick, not to thin, but the strands are baby fine, and they tangle. So I already have a comb in the shower. To my surprise it was a little harder to comb out than it usually is with my conditioner in. I was a little worried that it wasn't going to do the trick.

First thing I noticed, when I was letting it sit, and bathing... I looked down and saw a section of hair form into a perfect ringlet. Now, my hair is wavy, but never ringlets. So I knew something was happening. I rinsed, jumped out, towel dried, and it definitely seemed curlier than normal. But I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be all goopy and oily, so I blow dried it. OH MY!!! My hair looked like it had been flat ironed, it was SO smooth. I could actually see my layers, because my hair had so much movement. It was as soft as my babies hair. I'm actually laying down in bed typing this, and it feels like I'm laying on a satin pillow case, I kid you not! SO, what I plan to do is keep using it, and up date my review after a little bit to make sure my hair doesn't start falling out, or gradually get an oily build up that some complain of. Also, I'm going to order L'oreal's Evercreme cleansing conditioner because I read in its reviews that it does exactly the same thing for a third of the price. And we'll see what happens!

Summary: Worked great the first time, except the pump broke (hence the 4 stars instead of 5).

I've been using the coconut/mango for 3 weeks now and I am amazed. My hair is thick, to mid-back and colored. I have used Pantene 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner for smooth hair and then the Pantene smooth conditioner for years. It took both to make my hair 'behave'. I was skeptical about Wen. I used the recommended amount at first and found it was too muchand I have a lot of hair. Now I used somewhat less for washing and much less (only one small pump) for leave-in conditioner. It took me several washings to get it just right for my hair. Rinsing well is mandatory. My hair behaves so well! It is smooth, soft and shiny. It is quicker/easier to take care of my hair now! It dries nicer and smells great. Most surprising of all I am losing 2/3 less hair than I was. I thought the amount of hair loss I was seeing was just normal for me. Apparently not! I love it. It is expensive, even on Amazon.

KLAPP C PURE FOAM PEELING 50 ml

i got foam cleanser from Klapp and then i found this peeling. the smells are different and i don't like this peeling at all. skin is so soft after the cleanser i bought from Clapp and this peeling does nothing to my skin. sorry for a bad review.

I absolutely love this product! The consistency is perfect not to greasy, not too dry. It feels like satin on your skin and you use very little. I did feel a slight tingling the first time I used it, but had no redness whatsoever. The product absorbs very quickly and makes your skin feel so soft! I notice the biggest difference the next morning when I get up and look in the mirror I look more rested, my skin is even-toned and very soft. I highly recommend this product you will not find anything this good in this price range or much higher.

Obviously cheaper than the actual catalog. It was not greasy at all nor does it burn. Keep up with the regimen and you will notice the difference. But, nothing works overnight. Must be patient and use it for 4 6 weeks to see the results.

Only two nights so far and I'm loving this. The glycolic acid is definitely working and the rich amount of peptides are really plumping my almost 50 year old skin. I have read many reviews saying that people thought they were buying a type of Nioxin they were familiar with and received a different version of the product (i.e.: old US made formula vs. a later Mexico made one).

I think this is the seller's fault for doing FALSE ADVERTISING! In my case, I wanted the latest formula and received a different bottle than what they advertised here. The product smells, looks, and feels different... This is a great product. My hairdresser turned me on to Nioxin in general. The Number 5 series is great for white hair as it is effective but very light on the hair strands. White hair tends to be coarser than your original hair/hair color but still needs some conditioning control. When we moved, I ran out of the Scalp Therapy and asked my new hairdresser to recommend a replacement. I bought her 'best" product, but it felt really heavy in application compared to Nioxin. I finally resorted to buying Nioxin on the web. This local area we're in doesn't carry Nioxin hair systems above number 4, if you can imagine. Try this product. It is great.

This product has been working for me. At one point I was using it for 4 months straight and finally starting seeing results. The corners of my hairline were fading noticeably before I started using it. After 4 months that area started thickening to where half of what used to be fading was filled in. I did stop using it for a few months so it went back to what it was before. I used the whole 3 step system at minimum every other day for 4 months. If you use it you have to be consistent. You also need to have some extra ready when it is about to run out. It is worth spending the few dollars it does cost to keep your hair thick and on your head!

Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser

I was a little hesitant buying this cleanser, because I had no reason to leave my original face wash other than plain getting bored of it. I tried the Ole cleanser. The smell was pleasant, it left my face very clean. Shortly after, maybe two days later I noticed breakouts on my face. I thought they were a sign my skin was adjusting. I decided the cleanser was not to blame. With this in mind, I continued using it. There were no breakouts. I noticed a significant improvement: my skin looked clearer, felt softer. Wonderful product.

This product thoroughly cleans my skin without drying it out. I usually have problems getting the right winter cleanser since the ones for dry skin never do a good job getting my sunblock off and leave me with clogged pores. This is a great product. For summer time, I use the on the go vitamin C cleanser by Ole.

Updated review: I still love this product as it is a really good cleanser. The packaging however has proven to be awful over time. It's only been 2 months and it has completely collapsed, even though I've used the pump on the top and haven't squeezed the bottle.

I alternate between this and Truth to Go wipes. I tend to use the wipes because I love how they smell, although this doesn't smell bad at all. It leaves my skin clean feeling and I don't feel any residue.

I do use a number of other Ole Henricksen products. I doubt I will ever leave them for another brand.
