Aloetouch Premium Cleansing Wipes, Scented - Case

I was introduced to this products while my 90 years old mother was hospitalized a few month ago. The hospital gave Mom the used pack to take home.

I love the size and the strength of the individual sheets as well as the softness. We tried different brand but they were too small.

I was very please to find Aloetouch Premium Cleansing wipes the same that the hospital used at a good price through Amazon. It was delivered very fast too.

The only drawback is that they are not flushable and I have to remind mother about it.

A case of these wipes were originally given to me as a baby shower gift. They are my favorite! The wipes have a great scent, and are gentle enough on the skin to give my baby a quick wipe down. They are larger in size than most wipes, and definitely more durable. I find that I can use less of these wipes than I can most others. One of these can perform the task of 2 or 3 of most store bought baby wipes. They are definitely worth giving a try.

I didn't originally go looking for African Black Soap. I just happened upon this brand at a beauty supply store a few years ago. This company makes black soap in other fragrances -and they all smell very good (Lick Me All Over, Egyptian Musk, Baby Powder) -I've tried them all, like them all, but I love White Diamond. Shower with any of these fragrant soaps -morning or night -and you won't need any other fragrance. They really give a rich lather, have Shea butter and cocoa butter, and these dense bars last a very long time. You'll love how you smell, and so will everyone else. Also leaves your bathroom smelling nice after the shower!

18 years ago I developed sensitive skin. I am the 1 in 10,000th person who will still get a rash from hypoallergenic products. My dermatologist recommended this soap instead and I have been using it ever since.

I can wash my hands dozens of times a day with this and not get dry hands or a contact dermatitis rash. I have bars all over the house, I travel with it, and my husband uses it now because he has developed sensitive skin too.

Johnson & Johnson has NEVER changed the formula for the soap in 18 years. This is a God-send since most companies are always "improving" their products and making something that worked like a dream for me to suddenly give me problems.

Occasionally I will try another soap because I miss rose scented and lavendar scented products. Even soaps that are "pure," "natural," hand-made still cause me itchy rashes. For me there is no substitute for this soap. It leaves my skin rash-free, clean, blemish-free, and so very soft.

I too started using this soap at the recommendation of my dermatologist for facial ache and it worked! This was several years ago and I no longer use, but when I did, the soap cleared up my ache. Now, my son has facial ache; he began using a frequently advertised product which worked well but required too many steps (from my son's perspective) to practice on a daily basis. I purchased Purpose soap for him and poof, away the ache. He uses it daily without hesitation.

Love it and it comes highly recommended.

PS: I used this soap for at least 15 years. I only stopped because I no longer had an ache problem but I always kept a supply on hand (just in case).

I have been using this soap after my dermatologist recommended it over 10 years ago. Occasionally I have tried other products but always had to throw them away when they began to irritate my skin (exception Clinique soap I've used their travel sizes to take on trips, but I'm not paying the full price for something I use 2x/day!). I have oily/sensitive/acne prone skin, so my skin is very difficult to treat. On top of that, wrinkles are starting to appear on my forehead! I was skeptical about this cream actually lightening acne marks and healing existing blemishes, but after just 5 days it has done just that! My skin is clear and blemish free. Amazing. Although it's specifically a night cream, I sometimes use it during the day. I love this line. Very pure ingredients.

I break out very easily and was therefore having a lot of trouble finding a night cream that didn't clog up my pores or cause a rash. When I first tried this product, it actually made my adult acne worse; then I realized I was applying WAY too much of it. (The jar says to use a dime-sized amount. I didn't listen, oops!) When I actually started using the recommended dime-sized amount, I got much better results. This cream makes my skin very soft and has lightened many of my acne scars. It also smells great and has only natural ingredients.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to produce the anti-aging effects I'd initially hoped for, but I love the aforementioned benefits so I'll just stick to pairing it with a separate eye cream.

For preventing acne I use Oil of Olay thermal skin cleanser, then I use Oil of Olay Definity as a daily moisturizer.

However, the calendula in this product is great for itchy patches on your skin, it's very soothing.

I bought it cuz my face gets flaky and dry in the winter. I have combination skin and was worried this cream would be too creamy and makes me break out. The cream smells great, goes on smoothly, and feels very comfortable, not oily/greasy as some creams are. Part of it does gets soaked into the skin, and part of it feels like it sits on top of the skin (but not in a bad way, just make the face feel smooth and supple).

It made my skin feel much more comfortable, even during the day, after a few use. It is even better paired with the serum, which soaked into my skin almost instantly altho having a milky texture. I tried the day cream version, which was slightly greasy and made me break out.

I would recommend this night cream for dry/combination/normal skin. I can't really tell if it reduces the one tiny teeny wrinkle under my eye (I'm 20 afterall), but it did reduce dehydration lines and makes your skin feel great. I would say this is mostly for wrinkle prevention and not for anti-wrinkle.

Neutrogena Men Invigorating Face Wash, 5.1 Ounce

Let me start by reviewing the product itself. Full disclosure: I am most definitely not a face wash aficionado. I've never found a face wash that I felt was far superior to the rest, and I don't think that this one is particularly special. But I have found face washes that were clearly inferior to the rest, and I have found face washes that were ludicrously overpriced. The good news is that this product is neither overpriced (at least on Amazon) nor inferior.

Here's the rundown:

Scent: a distinctly masculine odor that's fresh but not overdone (this is NOT Brut).

Texture: slippery gel that works into a thin lather as you scrub.

Quantity: a penny-size dollop will take care of your face; this means the product should last several months.

Finish: leaves skin feeling oil-free, smooth, and perhaps a bit dry, depending on your skin type.

Packaging: container is stable and easy to use; the plastic is strong enough that the top shouldn't crack off.

For the product alone, I'd give 4.5 stars. Gets the job done. Can't ask for much more in a face wash.

So far, so good. But here's the (potential) catch: as a result of inadequate packaging on Amazon's end, mine arrived squashed, with about 25 percent of its contents irretrievably lost. I did not bother to return the item (how do you ship a big wet mess back to Amazon), but I did provide feedback to Amazon about the packaging problem. Hopefully they will resolve this issue so that we can buy with greater confidence.

I like sleeping with a clean face because your face gets oily and picks up a lot of dirt during the day and I don't like the thought of wiping all that stuff off on to my pillow when I sleep.

I don't use soap because it drys up your face so I tried this.

1) I like the tube because it's easy to use.

2) Cleans nicely and doesn't leave your face dry.

3) I usually don't like strong scented stuff but sometimes you just need some scent to cover up assorted smells you pick up during the day.

I recommend this mainly because of 2), i.e. it doesn't dry your face up but still cleans nicely.

Let me start by saying, I generally love Giovanni hair care products, but the new "magnetic" line is just an excuse to charge a premium price for a mediocre product. I found this shampoo and conditioner left a smelly residue on my hair that made it feel greasy and weighed down.

Instead, I recommend the Giovanni 50/50 Balance and Tea Tree product lines. They are cheaper and more effective.

My daughter brought this product with her to visit and after trying ordered two bottles. I have longer color treated hair. It was a shampoo, conditioner and styling aid in one bottle. It left my hair soft, manageable and silky. This is one of the best shampoos I have ever used. You just apply it creams up and then rinse and style. Excellent to travel with as you don't need several bottles if product. But watch out you will have to share.

Redken Cleanse Acid Balanced Cleansing Bar 5 oz

The pros:

This is the best smelling soap I've ever smelled. This one factor almost outweighs everything. It smells so good, it even makes your entire bathroom smell good. I don't know how to describe the smell, but it really makes waking up and taking a shower pleasant. It's a masculine smell, but fresh, not the over-powering Drakkar Noir type smell. I've had two women say how good it smells.

The cons:

It's very expensive.

It melts very easily when exposed to water, so one bar only lasts a week or two. I keep it in a separate soap bar container to try to protect it from left over water in the shower.

It's almost impossible to find it in stores. Even salons that sell Redken for Men products rarely carry it. You pretty much have to buy this online. Amazon seems to have the best price, although it's still really expensive.

I used Reken Amino Pon for years and when they stopped making it I switched to the men's version. I love it. I don't find the scent too masculine, just clean smelling. I hope they keep making this for many years.

This is for ladies too. I used to use AminoPon bar soap in the'70s and then Redken stopped making it. I switched over to the men's bar, the only differences were the scent and the addition of allantoin in the men's bar. Scent usually bothers me. Not so with the Redken soap. The scent is very pleasant. These soaps leave your skin feeling fabulous and NEVER NEVER dry. I have been trying to find someone who could replicate these soaps because it appears that Redken is no longer making this soap. This soap even helps with acne and rosacea. It is mild and soothing but cleansing and never drying. The price is WORTH it. Even so-called liquid creamy soaps that are supposed to be nondrying don't compare. They are drying as compared to Redken. My husband is usually picky about soaps but he LOVES this soap. Try it.

I also have been using this soap for 25 30 years. I will not use anything else and take a bar with me whenever I travel. It was actually recommended to me by a woman I was dating.. she used it and loved it as well. I use it to wash my hair as well as a body wash. The fragrance is very pleasant but not perfumey or feminine at all..kind of hard to describe but everyone I have recommended it to has loved it. I have a good friend who has had itchy dry scalp problems his entire life and had tried numerous shampoos. Once he tried this he was ecstatic with the results. My girlfriend now uses it as well and she is very picky about skin and hair care products. It is expensive but I have a friend who's a hairdresser order it for me wholesale.. runs about $200 for a case of 48 bars so it's not that much more expensive than what a good bar of soap would cost. I don't know what I'll do if Redkin ever stops making this product. I highly recommend this product for BOTH men and women. Try it.. you won't ever use anything else!!

I've been using glycolic acid products for about 15 years and recently started incorporating Glycolix glycolic treatment pads into my nightly routine. I've tried other glycolic pads, but have found Glycolix to be the best. I appreciate the range of glycolic percentages (5% 20%)offered and also the fact that the percentage is clearly listed on the jar. I use the 20% strength (first timers need to begin with a milder strength) each jar contains 60 pads that's 2 months worth for me. Incredible value on a fantastic product. You will see results with consistent use. *It's very important to note that a sun screen product must be used on a daily basis when using glycolic products but really, we should all be using a minimum spf 15 on a daily basis.

I'm 22 year old college student, and I've been battling acne for the past decade. I've only had minor scars on my face, but I have some pretty bad ones on my upper back and chest. I've been using RetinA and Benzaclin for a long time, and it's been somewhat effective. Not too long ago, my parents told me that their insurance no longer covers retinA or benzaclin and that I'd be paying somewhere around $200-250 per month or so for these products.

Not really liking the results of the prescriptions as it was, there was no way I was paying that much for it. Then I began to do a little research online. I found that AHA (Alpha hydroxy acids) stimulated the growth of new skin and dissolved away dead skin. So I became interested, and went out to seek the strongest of the AHAs, glycolic acid. I went to Walmart and found an insane amount skin care products. Overwhelmed, and finding it hard to determine how much glycolic acid was in what, I looked online and found this product.

I've only been using it a week on my face/upperback/chest, and I've had several times the results with this product than I had with the years of retinA/benzaclin. Scars are fading, acne has stopped forming, pores are clear and smaller, skin tone is improved, the circles under my eyes are fading, even the small forehead creases that were creeping up on me are smoothing out.

In my small experience, I have advice for some people. Using sunscreen is an absolute must, and moisturizers aren't a bad idea. I've been using a combo, Dove Essential Nutrients Day lotion SPF 15. Some websites say that AHAs increase the effect of moisturizers. Also, don't use it on your face right after shaving.

Cons:

1. Pads stick together sometimes. It can be hard to get one at a time.

2. Despite what I expected, you use these pads to wipe instead of leaving it on the skin, which leaves a very little amount of acid on the skin. I would think that something like MaMa's lotion, while a weaker AHA, would stay on the skin longer and effectively be stronger.

These pads are not for the sensitive! They do sting and burn a bit. Plus, they leave the skin rather sticky. I didn't have a problem with it, but I have been using these types of products for a while. If your skin is very sensitive, I would begin with the 10% version.

I have regularly usd a glycolic -based cream as part of my daily facial treatment , but the bumps persisted. Now they are history.

I will re-order when the jar runs out.

First off, the thing is not waterproof, so the LED light will fail in short order.

Secondly, the crummy plastic screen is impossible to clean. Once it gets any soap scum or water deposits on it you might as well throw it out.

Thirdly, it constantly falls off the wall.

Finally, the flimsy plastic razor holders break off with the slightest provocation.

Ultimately it's hardly a good investment.

It stays with no fog as adv but they need to improve the squeege they supply with it.and

the swival base (holder) weakens after use and the mirror doesn't stay straight (vertical).

The concept is good but the mirror has fallen from our shower on several occasions the Suctions cups are not strong enough and since the first fall it fogs up as soon as the shower is turned on. I paid too much money for a poor quality mirror. Very disappointed.

Clean & Clear Finishes Mattifying (Pack of 2)

I used this for about 1 month before considering posting this review, so i gave it a fair chance! It worked great, kept me matte until i got home from work, which is around 7pm (i leave around 8am). This does dry out your face, for me too much. I moisturize very well, but that because i use Alima mineral make-up. I found using this, make me flaky and scaly by early afternoon. This product would most likely be great for someone with skin that doesnt dry out easily.

I think my expectations of this product were just too high. There is a reason it's no longer sold in stores and had to be reformulated. It feel like straight up sunscreen and gives the worst white cast ever. Do not use if you plan on taking pictures with flash, you will have a ghost face!

I use it for day time use and it is moisturizing. Thanks to the seller for the 2 in one deal.

Very hard to spread. My face gets shiny after a while. It also leaves a dull, dry appearance as if I had some kind of white powder on my face.

Before I apply any makeup, I have to use something for my oily skin in order for my makeup to last longer. I've used several products over the years but this is the best one I've found. I first purchased it at Target and when I went back to buy more, I was disappointed to see that it had been removed from the shelf. I tried looking for it at other stores and couldn't locate it anywhere. Fortunately, I was able to order with Amazon. I heard later that this is no longer in production. I don't understand why because the product is a great one for people like me with skin problems. I've also used primers (more expensive than this product) before I apply makeup but this works better than the primers I've tried. I hope they reconsider putting it on store shelves again someday.

I love these cleansing cloths they have a gorgeous rose scent, leave my skin soft, and are not overly drying.

these cloths have a lovely scent of rose water. they are good at make-up removal. why four stars instead of five? i wear water proof eye make-up, these cloths do remove it but it takes more scrubbing than with some other cloths. i do recommend these cloths if you use regular eye make-up.

I use this as a shower gel. Not for making bubbles in the bath tub. I love the fragrance, for me is just right. The only problem I have is that it is a little pricy compared to the same sized Rosewater Bath & Shower Gel which I also use.
