Well I've had a bad problem with acne in the past, and this item brought it all back!! I've been using it for a few weeks now: I'm assuming what's happening is the detoxifying mask is bringing all of the dirt out of my skintherefore it's doing its job by detoxifying, however if I had known that it's going to bring all this acne out I wouldnt't have bought the thermal mask. I'm still going to continue to use itfollowing with the Oro gold peeling mask and the Oro gold serum. I'm hoping I'll get the results I've been wanting after this horrible acne spell is all over. I've heard nothing but good reviews about all of the Oro Gold products (the Vivo is fairly the same thing), so we'll see how my skin looks after 60 days or so =)

I have combination skin with a tendancy towards dryness with exception of the humid summer months. In addition my skin is fairly sensitive as well as acne prone. Admittingly the smell could use some adjusting or for that matter do better as a scentless product, however, with that aside the product has seemed to work very well for me and If it works for my sensitive skin I can almost assure that the great majority of individuals will find this product to be a great blessing.

I have very sensitive dry skin that is allergic to almost everything out there. I started using this product because I moved to a very hot/humid area and my moisturizer was making me break out. I spray it on once or twice every day and it moisturizes my skin throughout the day without leaving a greasy/sweaty film on my face. I still use pure aloe vera gel once a week to add extra moisture, but overall, the hydramist is enough to get me through the day. I apply it under my make up and it doesn't make it streak or smudge. One bottle lasts a long time. Great stuff!

I had red highlights done on my hair and wanted to preserve the color for as long as possible and so I bought this product based my stylist's recommendation. The first time I used it I had a really bad experience (and now looking back) it was mainly because I didn't hold the spray bottle 10-12 inches away according to the instructions. I ended up spraying the powder on my hair like I would with hair spray and I had globs of black powder everywhere. I couldn't even comb my hair through; my fingers and my comb were black and my hair felt sticky. Additionally, everytime my hair touched anything (e.g. comb, clothes, fingers, pillow) it left black marks. It also left my hair feeling oilier than it originally did. After this experience, I figured I just wasted $40.

Last night, I figured I'd give it another try. I saw other customer reviews on Amazon and read how wonderful the product was and I figured I must've done something wrong the first time around. This time, I held the bottle as far back as possible and I sprayed in short pulses. After each spray, I immediately combed my hair through. This time the results were fantastic. I hadn't washed my hair in two days and my hair was really oily. After about 10 minutes of spritzing and combing, my hair looked like a day's old wash. I woke up the next morning, blew dry my hair alittle and it looks great! When I touch my hair, it doesn't leave anything behind either.

The key is take baby steps with this product. Hold the bottle as far back as possible (like an arm's length) and just do little spritzes at a time and comb through. You'll love it.

I have somewhat oily, but otherwise normal, hair and this is by far the worst dry shampoo ever (maybe even the worst hair product ever). I don't understand the rave reviews. Every time I run out of dry shampoo from Klorane or Blow Faux, I give this product another try. I figure, "Hey! I spent $40 on this thing, I might as well finish the bottle. It's so pricey it MUST work this time right? Right?" It never ceases to amaze me how much I hate this thing. I walk around the rest of the day hiding my head in shame and even wishing for my greasy oily hair-anything but the ugly mess resulting from this product. Believe me, I'm no stranger to dry shampoo. I've been using it all my life. I use this product exactly as directed and then some (8-12 inches away from my hair, 3-4 inches away from my hair, 12-24 inches away from my hair, spraying into the air and twirling into it... nothing works).

Pros:

If you want spray can black paint for your hair, then this is the product for you. The color is the only upside to the product in case you're looking to hide your roots between coloring. But if you already have dark/black hair then this product is utterly pointless as a dry shampoo.

Cons:

TextureForget about running your fingers through your hair and having beautiful locks that sways when you walk. Nope. Instead, you'll get "There's Something About Mary" hair that only too much gel creates. It creates a disgusting overly dry brittle bird nest texture. If you walk and the wind catches your hair the wrong way, you end up looking like a lion that just woke up from a nap.

ResidueIf you plan on touching your hair, wearing a light-colored sweater or falling asleep on your bed, you'll leave a nasty black smear all over your fingers, clothes and mattress. Even if you're wearing dark clothes, if you touch your hair by accident, you run the risk of getting dark smudges all over your face and arms and bag and books... the list goes on.

Recommendation:

If all you want is to prolong the time between washing your hair and not to cover up bald spots or touch up your roots, then you're much much better off with Klorane or Blow Faux Dry Shampoo. Heck, you're much better off with 99 cent baby powder. For the love of everything pretty and functional, stay away.

I love love love this hair powder. I saw it once at someone's house and immediately thought it was for covering up bald spots (what can I say I have an big imagination!). I asked my hair dresser about it and she told me it was great stuff that added a lot of texture to your hair while soaking up all the oil.

I guess I should explain that I like big hair, not 80's big, but hair that looks thick and full of body. When I heard it gives texture, I was sold. Anything that makes it easier to get big hair. I also bought that light brown for my friend who doesn't love big hair but has a problem remembering to wash her hair ;)

So there were using this powder and instantly getting addicted. The stuff is A-Mazing, we both agreed. I can now go 4-5 days without washing my hair (but I am not recommending that, I am just saying that it has allowed me to become lazy with my hair). When I wake up in the morning I just need to fluff the hair and it looks like I spent an hour on it. It definitely gives it the dirty texture so it is easy to style, but it doesn't look dirty.

I have used it on longer hair, shoulder length medium layered hair, AND an a-line bob type. I can basically shape my hair anyway I want and it will hold.

For you blonds, I hear cornstarch has a similar effect.....but for everyone else, invest in this cuz it is worth it.

Okay, even though I love it, I have to say that it is crazy messy. I use the black and have learned not to touch my hair or scratch my head, and I am still scared to go out in the rain with it in. The bathroom now needs to be wiped down every time I get ready, and the shower needs to be wiped down more. But lets be honest, now I have awesome hair AND a clean bathroom!

This product is a must for covering gray between coloring. It is easy to use and covers extremely well. It only takes a small amount to do the job. My hair is black and my roots are WHITE. This product covers the white roots completely until I can color.

Eminence Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant, 4.2 Ounce

I use this with my eminence stone crop cleanser and it is a beautiful combination. I have very sensitive acne prone and sadly aging skin and these two products used together make my skin balanced and smooth, more youthful. I use the two together twice a day. I absolutely love these eminence products. It is worth the money. The lactic acid in the exfoliant and the stone crop plant which is the main ingredient in the cleanser helps fade out dark spots. I've found my skin care line for a lifetime.

This face wash left my skin feeling clean and revitalized, it is well worth the money spent. I will be buying this product again.

I am a big fan of Eminence products. I was excited to pick up this new exfoliant. Of the company's line of skin polishers and exfoliants I can say that I really like their Yam and Pumpkin Enzyme Peel but their Pear and Poppy Seed Microderm Polisher is not effective enough for me. This product is very similar to Dermalogica's Microfoliant; however, I think the Eminence version is significantly better. While Dermalogica's version of a rice bran and oat exfoliant has won some InStyle best product awards, I truly think this product is superior.

Eminence's Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant is great for sensitive, acne prone or rosacea prone skin that can sometimes be difficult to exfoliate without irritation. I think the level of exfoliation is a great balance for those that cannot tolerate harsh scrubbing or harsh chemical exfoliants. The combination of the gentle rice powder along with the lactic acid makes this a gentle mix of chemical and manual exfoliation for skin. The composition of this product is not like other exfoliants and is a dry powder that you shake out of the top almost like a bottle of baby powder. After shaking out a dime or nickel size amount into your hand, mix the powder with water to form a paste and then apply to your skin in circular motions.

The exfoliant includes:

*Salicylic acid that gently exfoliates and removes impurities to brighten skin and shrink pores

*Rhubarb: a good source of ascorbic acid and vitamins to fight the look of wrinkles

*Lactic Acid: sloughs off dead skin cells to improve texture of skin

*Rice: gentle exfoliant; buffs and smooths skin texture

*Chickpea Flour: tightens pores; absorbs excess oil and helps to buff and smooth skin

*Thermal Mud: contains high amounts of mineral trace elements and sulfur to improve and support the skin

*Oats: deeply cleanse and smoothe

*a booster of antioxidants, vitamins, Coenzyme Q10, and Alpha Lipoic Acid to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve the appearance of skin

On the negative side, the packaging could be better. You have to be extremely careful not to get water in the top of the bottle or the product at the top will form a paste and it will become near impossible to shake any product out. If that happens you have to leave the bottle alone for about a week or so. This will allow the top to dry up completely and you can shake the powder out again. It is frustrating not being able to keep the bottle in or even remotely near my shower due to this issue. On the plus side, because it is just a dry powder it is easy to travel with and doesn't take space in my carry-on liquids allotment.

If you do not have sensitive skin this exfoliant may not be aggressive enough for you and you may be disappointed by it. That said, if you are one (like me) that likes to exfoliate everyday, because this is fairly gentle you can use it everyday without irritation. In contrast, some of the stronger exfoliants that we review on this site can only really be used once a week.

I bought this product after a lot of research and reading several rave reviews on it. I have been using this foaming cleanser for about a month and have noticed no significant improvement to my facial skin. It most times dries off my face at which I'd then need a moisturizer. It's just ok and I am still hoping to see it work like the rave reviews before mine. I've definitely used better products. What irks me about this product is the pump. I splurged for the Clarisonic Plus in December after going back and forth about whether I really needed this product. My skin is not horrible, but my T-zone is oily and I do get periodic breakouts. I was hopeful that the Clarisonic Plus would help me with those problem areas, and so far, it has. I love that it has the timer on it to tell you how long to spend on each area for optimal cleaning much like my toothbrush does.

The brushes are gentle and I had to experiment with the setting to see which speed would work best for my skin. It also comes with a body brush that I use on my knees and elbows to get rid of dry patches.

So yes the Clarisonic Plus is expensive and is definitely a luxury, but it is worth it to me. I never have been one to get regular spa treatments, and now I don't have to in order to take care of my skin.

I had a milestone birthday last year and have made a real effort to take better care of my skin to fight off the ravages of time since good genes can only take you so far.

I love my clarisonic. I just would not pay full price for it,I got a GREAT deal on groupon. I have acne prone skin and using the clarisonic helps me keep my pores clean and unclogged while getting the most out of the skin products I use. I do not normally use it on my body but it's great on my face. It makes your skin look clean and healthy within days. It is a good product although I think its a bit expensive for what it is. I recommend it if you find a deal but again I would not pay over 70 80 for it.

e.l.f. Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths, 20 Count

These do a good job at taking my make up off. I usually only use it to remove eye make up before / after I wash my face. They are kind of rough though. If I'm not super gentle it makes my skin feel raw. This is my first time trying make up remover wipes though so all of them could be like that. I think I will try a different brand before buying these again.

First of all, the pricing of these on Amazon is ridiculous...you can find them at a local "mart" for 1 buck for a 20 wipe pack.

That said,this is a great product. It smells pleasant and one wipe goes far. I used these four days in a row to remove all my makeup including foundation; 1 wipe did the trick and I probably could have cleaned someone else's face off too.I loved the fact I could use just one of these cloths and not stain another one of my wash cloths.

Unfortunately, the product dried out my oily/combo sensitive skin. The third day it left my skin feeling unpleasantly tight and dry, and the fourth day left the skin on my cheeks and around my nose red and stinging. Oddly enough, the skin around my eyes is fine, and I'll continue to use the wipes to remove only my eye makeup. By the way, I did follow the directions, which indicate you must wash your face off after using these wipes.

If you only wear eye makeup, or don't have fussy skin, these wipes are perfect....just don't order them from Amazon for this stupid high price.

I was worried when I got these that they would be too dry to work well. I'm happy to say that my expectations were wrong, they aren't at all dried out. In fact, the only issue that I had with them was that they were TOO wet. They definitely usable, and I'd rather them be too wet than dried out, but if having too much moisture is an issue for you then these may not be right for you.

I've gotten these twice, and both packages were the same so I assume it wasn't just mine that are this way. Definitely worth it for the price.

My favorite hand cream changed its scent, very much for the worse. So when my fingertips started to peel and look like I'd stayed in the tub way too long, I picked this blindly. I've used Crabtree soap and lotion, but never hand therapy. It really did the trick. In a few days, my fingers healed and hands softened. You only need a dab, so the price is perhaps justified. Scent-wise, I didn't like this much at first, but it's grown on me. Very citrusy and light. Hand therapy feels very greasy when you first put it on, but really rubs in.

It is okay but it does not "wow" me. I would not spend that much on this product again though. I am still searching for the perfect lotion to carry in my purse.

I have to admit, I am a Philosophy fan. These are great products. They actually work! I started with the Obagi line and was purchasing it from a local spa. I price almost made me stop using it. I came across it on Amazon and couldn't believe it! Its half the cost and I get the same Obagi quality. The cleaner is so easy to use (I keep it in the shower) and I also have a bottle in my gym bag. It cleans but doesn't over-dry my skin. The toner is just as easy and it great for cleaning my facing between showering.

I am using OBAGI'S for five years and recently ,I bought clenziderm "foaming cleanser and pore therapy , the outside packaging of this products seems different from the list of CLENZIDERMS from obagi, the numbers which was shown in my previous orders were not there, like foaming cleanser was numbered as # 1 and pore therapy was #2 for treatment. I was paranoid with the authenticity of my orders?? I am scared it gonna damage my skin coz it might be an imitation only from obagi.Sadly, i opened the products and used one time before i noticed that the packaging was different, my order received has no numbers in the outside label like showing in the ads.

Couldn't ask for anything better! I have had problems with breakouts and blackheads since my teen years. I'm 26 now. In six months I've spent $1200 going to the spa and having facials, extractions, chemical peels, laser treatments, microdermabrasion and the combination of all of those don't compare to the combination of 1. Daily Care Foaming Cleanser Salicylic Acid 2. Pore Therapy 3. Therapeutic Lotion by Obagi CLENZiderm M.D. I've also tried ProActive but it irritated my skin and it seemed as if it stopped working after a while. Also, the 3rd step of Obagi contains 5% benzoyl peroxide (BPO) vs ProActive 3rd step 2.5%. – I'll let you be the judge. -

My husband can't stop giving me compliments on how much better my overall skin is. I've been also getting compliments from my close friends and they've asked me what is it that I'm using b/c my face is so clear! I do use all three steps at night. Morning I use 1&2 plus Obagi AM 50SPF moisturizer.

Give it a try and stick with it for at least 1 month of daily use before your skin can get used to it. You might experience some burning feeling but it will go away and after continual use.

I bought this Obagi Clenziderm step 1,2,and 3. I have a very bad acne since i was a 15 years old,

and tried everything, even antibiotics from the doctor. Then, my OBGYN recommended Obagi products, bought it on Amazon,

We had a lot of moss and lichen growing on our typical asphalt shingle roof -so much so that it was starting to have a detrimental affect on the shingles. I researched what is used to remove moss and lichen and found out about this chemical. (Note that when applied incorrectly, zinc sulfate can be bad for plants and fish. Learn how to apply this properly from a licensed professional or from your local agricultural extension agent*.)

I applied fifteen pounds of *zinc sulfate monohydrate* powder in solution to my 3000 sq ft roof. This is how I did it:

During application, I wore long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. I also wore a dust mask and protective glasses and rubber gloves. (I usually use these same old clothes and mask for painting.) I did this early in the morning on a clear, windless day.

Into a three-gallon garden sprayer from the hardware store, I poured a gallon of water. Then I poured in 2.5 pounds of Zinc Sulfate and stirred vigorously. Next, I added enough water to fill it to the 2.5-gallon mark on the side of the sprayer. I added several drops of soap to make the watery solution stick better to the dry roof. I applied this solution to the first 500 sq ft of roof, jostling the container now and then to keep it well-mixed as I sprayed.

I adjusted the spray nozzle not to mist finely, but instead to spray out a medium-course droplet pattern, just fine enough to spray without being carried away by the wind onto surrounding tree leaves. I repeated this process five more times to cover the rest of my roof. (500ft x 6 = 3000 sq ft. and 6 x 2.5 lbs. = 15 lbs.)

I applied it evenly across the entire roof. It took several hours and a lot of patience. It took many hours to dry and I did not apply it on a day it was likely to rain. I tried to do it when it was not too hot or cold first time was a morning in the fall and the second time two years later was during the morning in the middle of spring.

The results did not happen immediately. It took almost a year for most of the moss to go away and another application two years later to remove all the lichen as well. However, the results are a clean roof with no moss and, as far as we can tell, no damage to the environment.

I realized while I was applying it the second time (two years later) that I didn't have to apply it all in the same day, if I didn't have the time. I could apply each 2.5 gallon batch on different days in the same month. It works rather slowly anyway, so it's not like it all has to be applied at once. I just mapped out in my mind where each 500 sq ft area was and made a note about where I started and finished last.

I washed my spray clothes with the regular wash and took a shower afterwards.

The state I live in does not require me to have a license when I apply this to my own roof. Many states are like that. However, in my state I cannot apply this to my neighbor's roof or spray herbicides or other pesticides for profit without a pesticide license and a business license. Make sure you know the laws in your community before spraying your or someone else's roof!
