I have used this product for at least 5 years. These soft, thick cloths are exactly the right strength for making your face and hands feel fresh and clean without tearing or balling up. I do not travel without them nor do I leave the house without at least one or two in my purse. The individual wrapping insures they stay moist and refreshing. Recently, I found myself in the hospital unexpectedly overnight grateful to have something to clean off my makeup that does not make me break out. They are also great for taking away gasoline smell after you go to the gas station.

Basis is a great product and these wipes are also great for oily skin, but I do not wear make-up so I use them a lot duing the day.

Cleans face and leaves skin soft. Very convenient for travel. I would forget sometimes to use mosturizer after using the cleansing cloths and notice the next morning how smooth and soft the skin was. I have sensitive skin and there was no irritation at all. Love the product.

This is a creamy cleanser that is truly gentle. I have very sensitive skin that overreacts, and it can also be very dry. This is a lotion type cleanser and my skin does not feel dry and tight at all after using it. It feels refreshed, clean, soothed and moisturized. Exuviance is pricey, and it doesn't necessarily work miracles on my skin but ever since using the products I don't want to use anything else. I use this with the soothing toner which is really nice too. Both the cleanser and the toner leave my skin soft and smooth.

This is the only face wash I buy. I have tried them all. I have very fair and sensitive skin. I also have very oily and acne prone skin. Without question, this is the best product I have found. It doesn't dry out my skin or cause allergic reactions. If you are unsure, try the trial size/travel size first. But, you won't be disappointed. I love this stuff and will use nothing else. Now, of course it is not a magical cure-all. What I love about it is that it doesn't dry out my skin yet it cleans it well and does its part to fight my acne. I can't imagine using anything else.

I'm a male 35 male with normal hair that has thinned a bit as I've aged, but I' not balding or anything. My hair isn't real thick anymore though. I got a sample of this conditioner that came with another hair product I ordered. I liked it so much I had to buy this 33 ounce big bottle of conditioner and shampoo!

It smells super minty and makes your head tingle, love it. The best part is when you dry your hair it falls perfectly with no residue on it. It will feel like silk when you wash out the conditioner. Other conditioners made my hair feel and look weighed down like it was coated too heavily, but not this stuff. It is awesome and worth every penny!

I have spent my entire life trying to find a face/ body wash that would actually work at making my skin feel clean but not dry, not make me breakout, and also not irritate my skin. We use this solely as a face wash, as it is not moisturizing enough for a body wash. This helps liven up the skin and make it feel young. If you have clogged pores don't use this exclusively , I suggest treating it with a tea tree oil mask in the shower (letting it sit for the 10-15 minutes) or steam your face with tea tree oil in it to really open up the pores. Don't forget to splash some cold water, toner and acne medicine afterwards.

L'Oreal Paris Ideal Skin Genesis Pore Minimize Gel Cleanser, 8-Fluid Ounce

This is a fantastic product and Loreal is choosing to replace it with YOUTH CODE which already appears to be sub par (amazon reviews) in comparison.

I used this with a Clarisonic and my pores were literally invisible afterwards. I was thrilled. This product is AMAZING and we should let Loreal know we don't want it replaced with a bad product.

Buy this stuff if you can find it.....that's what I plan on doing. Lets let them know they're making a mistake and send them our thoughts on this discontinuation...

So, I took a look at the ingredients for the Genesis pore minimizing vs Youth code, both from Loreal, one discontinued and one meant to replace the other..

So overall it looks like the same ingredients were used in the Youth code foaming gel cleanser as well as the Skin genesis pore minimizing cleanser. It only appears as though the ingredients are in a slightly different order indicating that the amount of said ingredients used in the serum differ slightly between the two. Hope this helps out. I haven't used their new youth code product so I can't say its as effective as the Genesis Pore Minimizing Cleanser but the label for the new Youth code cleanser has all the same ingredients. Maybe the poorer reviews are because people are angry that their long loved product is gone and are leaving poorer reviews for the new one..? May be worth a shot though..

I have acne-prone skin and have for years overscrubbed and medicated to get my skin clean but hate the drying harsh effects of all that. I wish I had taken a "before" picture. Then it would be easier to prove to myself that I'm not just engaging in wishful thinking! This is the best on the go handcream for winter. My skin gets really dry and while I put on emollient cream in the evening and try and drink tons of water, I get cracks and chapped skin. My mother gave me this lotion and it truly is hand therapy...I keep it on my bedside table and apply it each evening, plus any other time I am in that area of the house. The Citron Honey & Coriander scent is wonderful, not too spicy or citrus. It smells fresh and invigorating.

Best of all, this lotion isn't greasy. I can apply it and it soaks in quickly. My hands feel soft and moisturized, but I am able to keep using my computer and other appliances without worrying about grease.
